We follow journey through Takakis life, where he falls in love with his only friend from primary school, but they were seperated because of moving out. He tries to wait for her, to reunite with her, but like life, love isnt easy as that. Like real life love is difficult, you probably want something to work out, but sometimes it isnt just meant to be and thats whats 5 Centimetres Per Second is about.
At first I didnt really like that it was seperated in 3 episodes, but now Im glad they did that, because we can really feel what is happening in his head in every episode and giving it a really nice flow. Personally I gave it 8. but that may be because in some ways I sympathize with the characters and the situation they are in.
In summary story is short and sweet, characters are relatable, animation is beautiful as always and the ending song is really nice. 8/10 recommended
