Nice review on made in abyss but you could have elaborated more....The main drawback is that, seeing the high ratings and all the top reviewers praising it, our expectations on the show turns to be really high.

The feeling is as if even the ushio dies in clannad we don't cry as we expected her to die after seeing the events of nagisa.

Made in abyss's shock value sometimes seemed forced and the pacing of story was very fast to connect with characters, only the art was good...
