In my opinion, yes it definitely is.

While the first couple of episodes weren't the most interesting, to be honest, it does get better. It bothered me at first that J.C. Staff would be the ones handling LB!, and not KyoAni, but now I really don't care. I've really been enjoying it and it seems I enjoy it more and more with each new episode. Since you haven't played the VN, I won't spoil it for you(in case you do one day decide to give it another try), but I will say this: The main story is way better. I'm not sure if Little Busters will get a second season, an OVA, or whatever, because this season will have only all the characters arcs, not the main story in it(Which is what really everyone is looking forward to). Also, if the animation bothered you, the animation has improved significantly compared to the first couple of episodes. Music placement is off sometimes, but no big deal.

But I'll be honest, if you didn't like the first 6 episodes, chances are you won't like the rest. Even though it has improved a lot. In the end, only you can decide if it's worth picking up again or not.
