if this is the 12 years old me that's writing this review, i will give it a solid 2. The first time i watched this, i only lasted 5 episodes and i said "no more". Few years later, i feel like i'm missing out because everyone who are familiar with anime love Nana. So i watched it again. I guess its because i'm much older and mature, i actually understand and feel the emotions the characters were portraying.
The characters are realistic and the story seems as if it is actually happening somewhere in this world. I feel like i'm watching a real live action
...
drama when i'm watching Nana. I love so many things about this series. The music. The plot. The feels especially. Whenever i see Nana related post or hear the songs, i feel nostalgic as if it used to be something that meant a lot to me when i was growing up, but it's been only a few months since i finished it. That's the kind of impact Nana gives to me. and i don't always feel that with a lot of other things.
i really hope the manga will be finished soon and the anime will be continued from where it left off.

Feels. Actions. Adventures. Feels. Feels. Feels. Feels. Adventures. Feels. Action. Feels. Feels. FEELS. FEEEELSSSSS.
I have never watched anything sadder than this so far. I don't think i'll watch anything and think that its sadder than this. EVER. Usually when i shed a tear for animes, that's because i'm touched but this one got me so hard. I have a little brother around Yuuki's age and that just makes it even more depressing than it should.
Story : 9
I could give a 10 if more things actually happened. Maybe if the tsunami actually did occur or something. That would just add more to the actions and
...
adventure but it does not really bother me that much because the whole story is beautiful.
Art: 7.5
This anime doesn't really take the art as the most important aspect but honestly i never really cared much about it.
Sound: 10
The soundtrack. Don't let me start.
Character: 9
The stubborn sister. The innocent kind hearted little brother.
Enjoyment: 10
Only so much.

If you're reluctant to watch this, listen to "Bless" by Yoko Kanno and you will have all your reasons on why you should definitely watch it.
I read somewhere that this anime is inspired by the 9/11 incident and that's why the characters are named Nine and Twelve (yes, not eleven). And all i can say is
DAMN. THIS. MASTERPIECE. IS. BREATHTAKING.
Story : 10
I can never properly put into words to describe how much i love Zankyou No Terror. Think Death Note but with fewer episodes. Bad guys or good guys. That's your choice to decide. No ecchi. No fanservice. No perverted moments. Real plot.

This animation has beautiful ost that i still listen to regularly. "Bless" "Von" "Is". The music score is what makes Zankyou No Terror so special. Fun fact. I discovered ZNT because of one of its soundtrack and it just triggered me.
Character : 10
The way they think. Their opinions about the world. Their motive for their actions. I love the fact that the characters are realistic that suffer from real problems.
Enjoyment : 10
This is not a romance anime but real feelings and attachments are involved dude.
It's been a while since i've watched this but i still feel the same towards this anime like the last time i saw it. 10 out of 10 broken hearts.

This anime is everywhere. The anime merchandises shop, my facebook feed page, 9gag, tumblr. You name it. Noragami is EVERYWHERE. If there's one thing i don't believe in, it should be that i don't believe in overrated animes. If they are popular, there must be a reason to it. I'm not gonna ramble much about the storyline because it's in the synopsis. Long story short, Yato is a god who thrives to become famous, does many silly jobs just to be believed in and collects 5 yen in order to build his own shrine. Hiyori saves him from being hit and since then her soul
...
alternately leaves and returns to her body without her permision. She asks Yato to help her. Yukine becomes Yato's "weapon" in order to fight their enemy, the Phantom.
When i first started this series, i was not very hyped. But i was entertained. For me, it was not something that gives me the crave to watch this specific anime every morning i wake up. I felt like it was predictable. It was ok. After a few more episodes, i started to feel more interested because it took another turn from what i originally expected. It triggers my emotion little by little and i love that feeling.
The character themselves are entertaining to watch. Yato is that type of person or god who is funny and ridiculous but wise and serious at the same time. These characteristics of his are what make him likable in my opinion. Yukine is the special trigger here. His character development is what makes this show worth watching. As for Hiyori, she's just another typical school girl we see in any other animes. I did not expect much from her but that does not make her less interesting.
I won't say that Noragami is not for those who have a weak heart because it is obviously not as heart wrenching as Anohana and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, but that does not mean you will not be moved. I watched this anime because of all the hyped but i definitely stayed for the "plot" plot.

They say honesty is the best policy, but sometimes, being honest doesn't take you to where you want to be. That's why, that April, she lied.
Music has always been my passion. As someone who is learning the piano and have a huge interest in violin, i got this intoxicating excitement to start watching this series.
Story : 9
I started this anime because of my love for music and i stayed because it is deeper than just bunch of talented musicians playing instruments for respect. Instead, it is more about how music acts as an escape for those people who are dealing with hardships and
...
trying to connect with other fellow musicians as well as the audience through music. Love and real friendship are also highlighted in this series. How friends try to lift you back up after you have fallen in the deep underground, but in the end, it depends on you whether you want to reach out for their hands or not.
Art : 10
The hand movements when they are playing the instruments are so fluent. The expressions, the scenery. Beautiful.
Sound : 10
For a series that revolves mainly about music, of course this is such an important aspect. The music scores featured, the original ost. Both are heart-wrenching, satisfying and enchanting.
Character : 9
Kousei and Kaori are my favourite characters. Kousei is black and white while Kaori is the screaming colour, and together they complete each other. Their personality might be the opposite, but they both give one another strength to carry on.
"Maybe... just maybe, the light can reach even the bottom of a dark ocean." - Kousei Arima

moving to a new school in a small town is already a horror for anyone, knowing that your new classmates are acting weird and secretive make it worse.
Oh that girl, she's the one i saw in the hospital, so she's my new classmate. But why is everyone not aware of her existence ? When i mention her name, they look at me in fear. She exists, right ?
...
I never thought it would be this dark.
This is my first horror anime, so i did not know what to expect. The story starts off a bit slow, nothing much happens, but in every early episodes, there are always cliff hanger at the end which make you wonder what exactly is going to happen. If you're not a fan of anime with a lot of talking and wondering and discussing, you might have to bear with it until a few episodes because it will get interesting.
A lot of spilled blood, a lot of death.
And of course, a lot of unexpected events, and that what makes it interesting. There are those kind of animes that you can predict what's gonna happen and who's the bad one, good luck in finding out those in this one.

Anohana (episodes) is one of the shows that i'm afraid to watch all over again. I'm scared to experience the ineffable sadness i first experienced watching it.
The movie version came out, which is basically the epilogue of what happened after the whole adventure, a story of how those friends make an effort to be close again. Even though the movie is not as sad as the episodes, it does add to the uplifting feelings and serves a better closure which seems as the new opening for the characters.
The movie started off with Jintan running on the street in
...
the middle of the night to the secret base with Menma on his back, so Menma could give everyone her proper goodbye. It barely even started, and i already felt the tightness in my throat. That feeling i was so scared of experiencing, it happened again. The movie also shows the lives of the characters from their point of views. How Menma's appearance affected them and how her disappearance changed them.
A lot of people say that the idea of this movie is great, but the movie itself doesn't live up to it's standard it first created. And i disagree. Maybe it doesn't live up to their expectations, but the Anohana episodes triggered my heart strings one after another, and so does the movie.

SHORT REVIEW.
4 words.
NEED . SEASON . 2 . ASAP .
adventure isn't really my type (except for some) , i'm more into slice of life kind of anime. my friend was dying over Nanatsu No Taizai. He said it was amazing. A must watch. So i begin watching it.

Nanatsu No Taizai started off a little bit slow - said no one ever.
It was only the first episode, and the next thing i knew, i was already on the 18th. OH MY GOD, HE DID NOT JUST DO THAT are the words i said too much watching this show. The thrill i felt was ineffable. My jaw dropped, my hair stood up, my fist were clenched, my eyes shone bright. Were the descriptions a little too much ? This is simply one of the best show anyone has ever watched, i asked around and i'm not lying. Characters = Annoying yet lovable. Art = Two thumbs up. Sound = Literally amplifies the epicness.
HAPPY WATCHING.

I saw it and 44 minutes later, I wished i had never seen it in the first place.
Not because i despise it, but it left me feeling all sorts of feels, and i was not ready.
"Why does it end like this" "This is wrong"
Nevertheless, I am glad i came across this movie. Alone in my bedroom, midnight with the lights out, definitely the right mood for this kind of movie.
Someone that has always been there since your childhood days, spending time with you without ever feeling bored every time you're around, the one that gives you a reason to look forward to something,

that one person, you wish will always stay by your side. But no matter how you wish it wouldn't end, only memories will stay until they fade away.

One day, little Hotaru got lost in the forest everyone warned not to go in. A forest known as the home of spirits and mountain god. Being left alone in the unfamiliar place, she did nothing but cried. Suddenly, a guy approached her from a distance. Everything about him looked normal, except for the festival mask he was wearing. Hotaru felt happy, so happy she ran toward him and almost gave him a hug, but the guy kept running away. Moments later, he explained that if he got touched by human, his body will vanish into thin air. That's how they eventually became friends, the start of Hotaru spending every summer in the forest, next to the guy known as Gin.
The simple yet beautiful story, it tweaks your heart strings.
It starts of with a guy who seemed to stay at his youth, spending time with a little girl who gradually grew, becoming a woman. Fantasy has never been my favorite kind of story, but this bittersweet movie triggered me right at the heart.
There's nothing blatantly wrong with the art. It doesn't have the most ravishing animations or realistic scenery images, but don't let this minor unimportant factor hold you back, because it's nothing compared to what you will experience.
Will the ending satisfies you or will it make you curl up in your bed thinking that it could have been better ? That's yours to decide. In my opinion, I have mixed feelings about it, but i enjoy my feels ride. This animation truly is one one the most heartwarming and heart wrenching I have ever seen. Don't believe me ? See it for yourself.

Have you finished the manga ? Do you know what happened at the end of Shippuden ? If the answer for both questions is no, this movie is not for you yet. But if you really want to watch, please do.
As a huge Naruto fan, excited was an understatement to express how i felt after the trailer was released back in 2014. All i can say is, this movie definitely is a beautiful closure to the long running series.

Adventure, action, romance and comedy. The story takes place few years after the end of the great ninja war. Things have changed, Kakashi
...
is the new hokage, Sasuke no longer thrive to destroy Konoha, as for Hinata, she's still trying to confess to Naruto after keeping her feelings to herself all these years. Seeing Naruto's new life, I can't help but feel proud of how much he has achieved. He's no longer an outcast, but in the eyes of the villagers, he is a hero, the one who saved them from the calamity the great ninja war brought. Simply put, this whole movie tells a story of how Naruto and Hinata becomes one, Naruto becoming mature and and experiencing true love. All that happened during his mission to save Hanabi alongside Hinata. The story line is smooth, definitely better than most of the Naruto movies.
Art: 10
They sure take time to perfect every little details in this movie. The scenery looks great. The changes they make to the characters are definitely for the better. Sakura looks even more beautiful, Naruto looks so much more mature with the short haircut. Before the movie, I was expecting Naruto to look more like Minato, but he definitely look more grown up with the current hairstyle. Hinata looks ravishing as always.
Sound: 10
Character: 10
One of the things I am most excited about this movie is the character. Aside the changes they make to Naruto and Sakura, Sasuke's character development also satisfies me. Even though he's only in for a good few seconds, he looks different, with the cloak especially. The fact that he looks a lot like Madara, giving audiences the message that he's the one who's going to revive the clan, unlike Madara, he'll do something right. Kakashi as the hokage showed even more of his wise side. But i do wish they would show more of Gaara, Lee, and others. Since it's the last movie, i would love to know more about how they settle in.
Enjoyment: 10
As a NaruHina fan, I truly enjoy this movie. After the Pain's arc, especially when Hinata tried to save Naruto, i was wishing for more NaruHina scenes, and I am more than glad that Naruto finally remembered everything Hinata did for him, from admiring him behind his shadow to risking her life saving her. All in this movie. The scene when he saved Hinata, flew straight to the moon and kissed her. Who would have known that Naruto could be so romantic ?
The part that got me the most was the after credit scene. In the first Naruto episode, he was punished to clean the faces of the hokages carved at the rock after vandalizing them. After being asked if he wanted to go home, he said that no one was waiting for him at home anyway. Many years after, he's married, with a beautiful wife and children, living in a house right in front the hokage rock statue, and it's all because of he follows his way of ninja.
