This is Pure Ecchi and what real Ecchi looks like. Series like High school DxD and etc. force Fanservice scenes & categorise them as Ecchi. In this series Ecchi scenes come naturally.


Nudity and Sex scenes are throughout the series but not once has it been taken seriously(Rom-genre ... serious), for that reason alone it's way different than H+ and Fanservices. Take the old hag for instance...Seriously who makes gags like that; still gives me the giggles.

Watch it. It contains all the cliches and what-you-wanted outcomes

Great anime with good character setting
Plotline is good as only few animes try this road
As you would expect from a orignal the ending is sad I think

Story progress was the only flaw because
The anime started with introducing the villain female pirate, Shin and many others you would think that the battle will be 3 arcs or so for but their ends were far too disappointing.
From what I could think of as the reason for this is that they thought they could give the series a 24/26 episode cour but due to some unforeseen circumstances had to cut down the episodes because despite the abrupt ... endings of villains, the 12th episode seemed like the final episode for the series with no hope for season 2

The story setting did have enough room to cover a full 24ep cour

Characters of goblin slayer are kinda like Akame ga kill, a happy family before deadly killers consisting of a barbarian, an assassin, sniper, engineer, strategist, leader and leader's guard. So if this works then give it a try.

Art character design and movement were good but background lacked in depth. See, it's a pirate anime what backgrounds are most likely to come up- POVs of sea, sky, and treasure Island all of them are supposed to look like neverending or too deep which it didn't have. For an original anime to not focus on background that's new.

The only thing went wrong was that they weren't able to sort out the plotlines

Characters-
The MC's are Shigure and Vera. That was unexpected from their intro pov. Watching the first episode you would never expect that.
The relationship development aspect amongst the platoon was unexpectedly good as they were the only ones introduced.

Art-
The Art and fight scenes were awesome and the supernatural in it was another awesome sight to behold.

... Story-
The base apart from story development was solid.
The story as in the setting and backstory of the characters introduced wasn't cliched like in other animes, if given proper consideration it would have been the hype

What I can see in the series is the potential to grow. You know like how sometimes series are rebooted and bam! They are the most viewed

This was a mixed source i.e. Manga, PC/Mobile game so you could consider this to be an teaser of sort. In games, the setting is usually the most important thing for purchase so there you go. I have seen many game based animes similar in the skipping sense

To summarise,
The club is C-rated version of Oregairu's humanitarian club where they helped other people and got back favours (Here favours are mandatory, oregairu had a 'with the flow' kinda thing)

The personalities are original as in completely different from oregairu MC's but too much used in the anime world

Plotlines; I haven't read the light novel but In the anime it sure was forced. eg. The arcs are completely 19th century typical shounen manga ones but they had to force some dark themes(nsfw) and it's not that they added it to give a wider view on ... things, They just added it and left it to the viewers imagination.

Heard of calming music? Good. ever watched a calming video here it is. Read the synopsis properly before indulging. It definitely states what to expect.

Art style is Not exactly Good, Not Bad either but still it gives the vibe that 'Yes this fits perfectly' There's Makoto Shinkai and then there's Nouhisa Inoue, best people for aesthetics in the anime world.

Calm and Serenity are the moto of this OVA, which it fullfills down to a T. Definitely a must have for your phone gallery. Feeling under the weather, Stressed, Things becoming too bothersome lately? Lay back, wear earphones at a good volume and play this. ... You just plugged into Nirvana.

After watching this aesthetic piece, you're bound to say "This feels good". This was a 2007 work but the graphics still feel it's latest.

Mushishi, ACCA-13 now this I just feel like screaming "SUGOI"
These animes don't have a definite plotline so the character personality is a major deciding factor for people to watch or drop and this is where it exceeds your expectations. Wise, sly and bulkhead all three options are there for you
The MC is not as dumb as the poster make him appear so he too will not disappoint you

As for the plotlines it follows 1v1[1ep, 1plot, 1youkai] you won't feel like the stories being dragged at all. It's not Pokemon i.e. ghost and it's ability there's an intricate plot staged before ghost is introduced so you ... won't find that the plot has been half baked in order to focus on youkai.

Art style is next level. I mean this is 2003 anime last checked, the colours are symbiotic with the art style producing an eccentric and entrancing effect on the story

First of all Yeah the plot is slow, the first few episodes are kind of like those episodes added between dramatic animes having too much gore or too much losses you know like akame ga kill, akudama drive level of sorrow.

Well, after ending the anime when you look for synopsis you will find that it was never a gang war, just people roped in trying to live better lives with their circumstances. You will understand it if you watch it.

But when it gives it GIVES
The MC personality is just what you want from MCs there's no DxD, no powerless mc vibe that is ... common in animes with this kind of art style.

The Villains despite looking like H+, too are well likeable you might hate them once or twice but can't help feeling for them

This is for those who might think of dropping the series due to it's randomness and diverging plotline
That's was mind blowing. I am still speechless. The anime keeps on giving you hint to solve the mystery but is often neglected by the viewers as being part of the eccentric art style (like SHAFT studios).
The way the incongruity in storylines smoothly converge, leaves viewers in awe and wondering why didn't they notice the clues mixed in.
But have to admit that was the cringey kind of incest there.
Liked the part where the wires got replaced by flowers in the author's pov of how the scene appeared ... to him. That completely defined why he went through all the box making.

The anime isn't fast paced, it's SKIPPING stuff.
Needs Aftermath. Well how to say it; the ending feels rushed like "Let's cram it in the final since deadline is near."

Anti climatic- VERY MUCH The main villain of S1 got cleared this quickly and what happened to the 'beautiful hair bow-arrow' lady...killed or alive?. The priestess didn't even had much importance, she just got extra screentime and I know killing the side character. With the most screentime is the way to go, like with Seiya, Kyouka but they at least had some imp lines but himiko didn't have much of that vibe(I prefer himiko over ogata) What ... happened to (whatever) organisation remains unclear.

Dang! the city sure does get destroyed frequently. I mean miku destroyed it, Gai destroyed it, Gai and matoba destroyed it again
