Well, MAL is perfect for discussing anime/manga stuff. I'd prefer to keep all that stuff in MAL.

Seems my Anzu animated gif stopped working :/ Guess I'll give it a couple more days -- I'd hate to have to replace it.

re. Momo's eyeglass -- my theory is it makes her a bit more intimidating or authoritarian for a student council member. She's often giving the orders for roll call, tank training, etc. Of course we all know she's actually a softy on the inside :)

Rare is the club that stays active for very long -- hence why I don't bother with them. Occasionally I will check in on the Cute Girls Doing Cute Things club but I don't even bother joining that one either (mainly because of philosophical differences -- I don't agree with their strict definition of CGDCT). However, their main forum thread is a great resource that I use to find out about the latest CGDCT titles.

Always great to meet another rabid fan of GuP, though :)

BTW, every Kana Ueda fan needs to watch Maria-sama ga Miteru. Probably her most well-known role as she is the protag in four seasons worth of episodes. She was hilarious as Kawashima of course; I've also seen a couple other of her titles: Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl and Saki. I'm looking forward to watching Fate/Stay, and Fate/kaleid eventually.

If Maria-sama interests you at all I made an informative post of it here which also includes a relationship chart that I'd modified. Hard to believe the same seiyu did both roles (Yumi in Maria-sama and Momo in GuP) but that's talent for you.
