Mixed Feelings
I have got to hand it to this anime. And by that I mean literally give it my hand because I'm afraid they're going to cut it off like they did the rest of the characters in this show. All joking aside, let's talk about the Wonderland.

I feel this anime could have had the potential to evolve into a burgeoning 48 episode Shounen or something, but it's unfortunately just the main 12 episodes and a single backstory episode on one of the characters. Spice and Wolf is truly a superb anime. Featuring a strong female character, Holo the Wise Wolf, and a charming merchant, Kraft Lawrence, this anime explores the nature of self-discovery through travel and trade. Being sure to tie in many references to the practices of medieval money dealings, any person who watches this will be sure to learn a great deal about basic economics, and may even apply some of the tricks learned in this anime to their every day negotiations. Unfortunately, the truth of the situation they are in prevents any real suspense, and one can usually predict the outcome of an episode. I feel like this show tries too hard to appeal to a younger audience, and therefore misses out on some ...

If any anime is blatant about telling you to stop whining about how much your life sucks, this would be the winner of them all. I won't spoil anything for those of you who haven't seen it yet, but the grand culmination is one that brings with it the potential to drown you in your own happy tears.

Now, a notable thing about this anime is its incredible pace, which is both a blessing, since you get twice as much material per episode, and a curse, if you don't have a background in Japanese. Either way, watching this anime requires your utmost focus to details, and ...
