Both shows take place around the time period, have similar voice actors, similar acting characters and plots involving time, magic and special watches.

...then you might like School Days add

While watching both of these anime, I got the same feeling many of the times. Both of the stories start off with a shy girl and a kind of jerk guy getting together, the only thing is that Saikano has more science-fiction elements. From there, there are quite a few sexual scenes in both of these anime and I got creeped out by some of them in both of the anime. The main guy character in both of these has trouble keeping his mind on one girl at a time, although the one in Saikano is way nicer, but they are both unloyal, sometimes uncaring people. In both anime, the characters get together early on and then as the anime continues, they end up seeing less and less of each other and spend more time with other people in other places, but both girls only want to see their boyfriend. Both of these anime also have rather insane endings, even though Saikano is on a much more epic scale and School Days is on a much more personal vendetta reason, but I ABSOLUTELY suggest this to ANYONE that liked School Days, if you want it with some Science-Fiction and a cute girl that's also a weapon.

Trigun and Cowboy Bebop are both similar in the sense that they both have a western kind of feel to them, except one takes place in space and one takes place in an actual desert setting. Both animes have a very cool, laid back main character, but they are both different in their own rights, too, in that Trigun's main guy is very emotional and a pacifist with the insane luck and the main character of Cowboy Bebop is a bounty hunter, with amazing luck and skill, but they both have very horrible pasts and very different outlooks on life. Each episode of the anime revolves around a different bounty hunter story or a different story about helping people in a different town and every now and then they throw in some real parts about the storyline, hinting at both the past and the lives of the other characters, but it's mostly about the main character and their views on life, their pasts and they both have guns, insane main male characters and awesome fighting action scenes with a lot of humor sprinkled in.
