In the book, The Revealers, three kids stand up against their bullies, and they stand up for everyone else who gets bullied. In this book, by Doug Wilhelm, a 7th grader, named Russell got two other friends, and they all got bullied. Together, they made the Revealer and told stories about
other bullies and let the truth out. Then they didn't get bullied anymore, because of the Revealer. Richie is a complex character because at the beginning of the book he was dark and mean, but at the end of the book he was some what friendly and caring.
In the beginning Richie was dark and mean, Richie was mean when he punched Russell. That’s mean because Russell was trying to figure out why he was bullying him. That’s mean because Russell was just asking questions. Richie was also dark because he bullied Russell. That’s dark because Russell didn’t do anything to him.Richie was mean when he dumped root beer on Russell. Thats mean because then Russell had to walk home wet,cold,and sticky, and he didn’t get to be Richies friend like he thought. Russell felt sad because he thought that Richie would be his friend.As you can see Richie is dark and mean, but he will soon change.
Richie is not just dark and mean he changed into a somewhat caring and friendly person.He is sort of caring when he motivated Russell by threatening to push him into a dumpster. That’s caring because he wanted to Russell to push on to fight for kidnet and to expose all bullies. He is also sort of friendly when he bought a root beer for Russell, that’s friendly because Richie dumped one on Russell so Richie was paying him off,and so Richie basically became Russell’s friend. That’s why he gave him the root beer.Also Richie was caring again when he stepped in to even things out when it was the Jock Rots against Russell. That’s caring because Russell would have been beaten up if Richie hadn’t of stepped in.These reasons show that Richie did change a little bit from dark and mean to sort of friendly and caring.
Throughout The Revealers Richie showed how he changed from dark and mean to sort of friendly and caring.The book made me think of real life because in real life kids get bullied, and some people have trouble making friends.I had fun while reading this book because it showed how people can change, and how if you stand up you can make a difference. So I recommend this book if you want to know what its like to be the bully and the bullied.

Highly reccomend JoJo's Bizzare Adventure Part 4 Diamond is unbreakable. Part 1-3 may be okay but is highly worth watching around 60 episodes to get there! :D
