I'm becoming quite the Index nerd lately. I'm staring to read the light novels and just started watching Railgun. I have my doubts about Railgun though. I mean, I like Misaka as a side character, but I just don't know if she's main character material.

You know what anime we really need? A Certain Scientific Accelerator. That would be so awesome.

I certainly wouldn't take things that far. They did a great job with the series overall. But how they ended it really soured things. Like, it came off more as pandering and unauthentic, not genuine. It was an ass pull that came out of the blue and really has no support to back up its claims in a sheer literary sense. Also a number of unanswered questions remain that still need to be answered. It wasn't a very satisfactory ending.

Well, I guess Jman and I finally see something eye to eye. It pissed me off as well. But I'll wait until you've finished it before I start talking about it.

I finally finished Index. Excellent excellent stuff. Probably one of my favorite Sci-Fi drama's I've seen. I watched it through Funimation's Elite Video Subscriber, so I think going on to both Psycho Pass and Jormungand would be a great transition. Also it seems Funi is uploading season 2 as we speak. Plus I'll start watching Railgun as well.

Overall though, very cool, fun, and really interesting. It looked really gorgeous for an anime made in '08 and I enjoyed the dub a lot. Mich Solisud did a stellar job as Touma. Had to give it a 9. A side character I really enjoyed was Tsuchimikado. Plus he's voiced by the same VA as Gray from Fairy Tail, and I love that actor.

Episode 1 is out! Wow, so much has changed in these 3 years.

It seems that this new girl is taking advantage of the instability of the Earth Kingdom to pretty much become a dictator. It's clear that she has a hold on these bandits too, using them to make herself look good and forcing states into her army.

I wonder if Korra is trying to master all the elements one at a time? Hence why she's only Earth bending at the moment.

The winged suits definitely feel like technology is advancing when you compare them to Aang's glider. They do look pretty darn cool.

But I'm still in genuine shock that they actually have a time skip, of THREE damn years. It just blows my mind, and I'm not sure why. Korra will probably go through some really hard stuff.

Man a THREE year timeskip is crazy. I'm now realizing the toll this took on Korra. It looks to be a very serious final season. Hopefully with this timeskip Bolin will have mastered lavabending too.

Seeing Korra cut her hair also means she's going to move on and get stronger, sort of like Sakura in Naruto. And also Toph? Honestly I bet Korra finds her corpse or something.

It could be too talky for the block. I still have my money on Psycho Pass and Jormundgand. I'd really like to see both.

I could careless about Batman, it was just another thing to not watch for me. SBT was mediocre as all hell. I don't know why everyone is getting their panties in a bunch about it. Just like you said, nothing Tartkovsky has ever worked on has been very good. I'll miss Clone Wars though. I guess if I ever get the itch to watch some, I believe netflix has it up. But I doubt I ever will.

But yeah, this starting to get borderline embarrassing. With things being taken off every two seconds. I hope they keep IGPX safe where it is. What do you mean by Toonami FaithFool exactly? Like being a part of the actual fan base? If so, I can agree to that. I'm starting to get genuinely sick of the fan base. It's complete garbage full of pompous jackasses and hypocrites who are nothing but negative. I just can't hack it anymore.

Didn't know you weren't a fan of the guy. I'm a huge Champloo fan, haven't seen all of Bebop, and Dandy is pretty good, but I would actually go as far as saying it was a bit of a disappointment. The random trippy shit got old after 5 episodes, I would've preferred at least a FEW continuing stories than just a random misadventure every episode. Some Dandies are really good, others are just plain mediocre.

Great actually. It's a shame I didn't watch the show sooner. I think it's fantastic and very enjoyable. However, I watch one episode, then I take a long break usually because I either forget, or start catching up on currently airing anime instead. I'm going to see if I can try to finish the rest of it off in one sitting so I know what's going on for the ending. Then I'll go on to season 2 or A Scientific Railgun.

Welp, quite the turn of events for Toonami huh? Losing 3 shows in one week is kind of crazy. I didn't mind Batman, but I'm sure as heck not going to miss it. I didn't like SBT, and I'll miss Star Wars. But at least Space Dandy will get reruns. Oh, and Dandy is right next to Bebop! We should just drop Big O II, push back everything behind Dandy and put Champloo in front of Dandy. Then we'll have a Watanabe power Hour (and a half!).

Can't say that I blame you. When I was still on the podcast they wanted to do something like that, but I didn't really want to because it seemed like we were just begging for attention more than doing a fun cross over. Which came off to me as petty and rude, which is why it never happened while I was there. I think another main reason was because they were all One Piece worshipers too.

Yeah I figured nightmares would start in again. Korra's biggest weakness is her mind. When someone gets in her head, she begins to really struggle. You have to wonder if Korra will ever use the air bending move of taking someone's breath away. That could be too dark for the main character to do though. I'm just glad to see we'll be immediately focusing on Korra, the thing we care about, rather than Jinora and the other benders, the thing we definitely DONT care about.

That's what happens I guess when you have people who can genuinely get a long rather than those who only do it to glorify their own opinions. It seems like it's taking a dip in quality too. I can't help but laugh.

When you put it like that, I'd have to agree. I'm just glad we don't have to wait long to see Korra's recovery. That's by far more interesting than anything else from last season.

Oh snap, crackle, pop new Korra season starts next month.

I'm not sure how to feel about this. Because it feels like they just want it off the channel.
