I thought about Wonder Egg Priority when it was airing, but opted not to. I tend not to like overly psychological murder series. If it is too big on mindfuckery then it's not something that pulls my interest. How are you liking it?
Monster, on the other hand, is a fantastic series. It is very well written and even stand alone episodes do so much to develop the main and supporting character.
That was a big mistake. You should never had started Naturo let along alone Naruto and Shippuden. I thought Shippuden didn't have filler arcs. I was wrong. I hit a filler season and I basically stopped watching. It's been on my watching list since 2012. I could skip the season, but I watched all the filler for Naruto and it feels wrong to skip it.
Ummm...how are you watching both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden at the same time? You'll never get to Shiki with those two titles on your currently watching list :P
A little young. It just means you were ready for mature content. :P I'm more surprised that your friend was like you'll love this. She knew your degenerate tastes. lol
Unless you were 12, I don't think you were too young for elfen lied. There is far less violence than what I would have liked based on the first episode.
Those can count as your gateway anime if you motivated you to find more of those types of "cartoons" rather than the other types of cartoon, even if you didn't know they were anime or made in Japan. I think that my gateway anime was Dragon Ball Z. I was definitely craving more even if I had seen Pokemon or Digimon before. I watched Elfen Lied quite early on when I started watching anime on the Internet. Looking back, I feel like it tricked me because the episodes don't deliver on the promise of the first episode unlike like the end or something. I barely remember the storyline, though
You just need to have a month long binge session. You'd cut down on your pipeline really quick. I can't even tell from your list what was your gateway anime. It was probably something that was on Netflix.
Since your plan to watch list is long enough, I'll give you a movie recommendation: Perfect Blue. Since you enjoy horror, you'll definitely enjoy this psychological thriller.
