Hey, random other anime recommendation. It puts a different spin on Isekai genre...and surprisingly has some occasionally good proverbs and historic strategems sprinkled in. I was pleasantly surprised to learn some things in this anime. It's a more lite-hearted show.

I absolutely enjoyed Spice & Wolf - the interaction between the duo was fun and mischievous, yet also heartwarming. I like it when animes aren't all about fighting. Heck, I'd even consider Spice & Wolf more of an "edu-tainment" type show. It's rare to see anime actually teach you a dry subject but keep things interestingly related to the plot.

Although there is some fan-service, I'd still recommend "Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru?". They actually teach you about body-building exercises in a light-hearted and comedic way. Plus, I'm a sucker for good opening and ending anime music lol.

Lol maybe. There are a bunch of beautiful Holo figures. I'd love to get the wedding dress one, but it usually goes for between $300-400. I don't know if I wanna pay that or just get one of the new ones coming out this year with the remake of the anime. They're beautiful too.

Same here for the quotes... I don't have many good ones that I keep. For the few that have a big impact on my thoughts, I try to ingrain into my mind and personal philosophy. It took a lot of introspection to be the person I am now. I was way more timid and less confident in myself early in life, but some life experiences have changed me. I used to try and bury the negative life experiences I've had, but later realized that even the bad moments in life are good learning opportunities that could be used to better the future.

I'm glad you asked me about Goblin Slayer. Aside from some of the controversial and dark topics that are shown in both the anime and literature, what makes me think that Goblin Slayer is an interesting character is b/c he is so flawed yet self-aware of that. He's a quiet and stoic character, but through his interactions with others around him and his personal struggles, he's not only humbly helping others, but also redeeming his humanity. He has done some questionable things (ethics wise - regarding his hatred towards a race/species), but it is done so for a specific reason. The story shows that he is both capable of selfless and noble cause, but also of great evil (depending on whose perspective we take).

I learned a lot about the character from the Light Novels - the story showcases action, wholesomeness, and is really centered on characters rather than some grand tale of saving the world.

Yeahh. It's pretty cool till now. Thankfully I've been able to stay away from spoilers so I'm able to enjoy it more. Love all the plot twists and characters.
