Hello and Greetings!

Hi there. I don't do much here than just watch anime for my own reasons so I am not gonna dive too depth into it.

Forcing others to have the same opinions as yours is indeed wrong, but I don't think all anime fans are like that. Some just want to promote the anime they love, and there's nothing wrong with that. I believe the problem might lie in the people you have in your social networks being extremists about their favorites, or you reading comments from people who exaggerate about some anime. Try to find more mature people who accept criticism better about their favorites, and the problem will calm down.

I think the secret to not being attacked, and by extension, not being bothered by this kind of person, is just to mind your own business. Only people who are friends with me can comment on my profile, and I usually only accept people with an affinity above 30%, precisely to avoid problems. I'm a calm person who doesn't like trouble much, so I rarely come out publicly to speak well or badly about any anime.

In this point, I think I'll disagree with you a bit or at least ask you to explain your point better. Was the CGI in Chainsaw Man poorly done or did it not fit the scene at any point? I don't want to hype the anime; I think Chainsaw Man is a 6, but I must give credit when I see it, and the anime's CGI didn't bother me, I don't disagree much with you about the anime's pace. As for Fullmetal, I think the anime is good, that's it. It's not a masterpiece, because the beginning of the anime was kind of turbulent, but I agree with you, Fullmetal fans are indeed a toxic community and have held the anime at the top spot for a long time just for status. I've lost count of how many times I've seen an anime being discussed with the tagline 'the anime that surpassed Fullmetal.' The fandom pushes the anime up more than necessary, when it's a normal process for anime to lose positions over time. Frieren managed to stay above Fullmetal and remains there until now. I agree about Kimetsu and I think, like Boku no Hero, it's an anime that's losing more and more strength with each season

Eheh thank you!!

I think maybe you're being a bit too extreme. Sure, many anime shows have an exaggerated hype around them, but it's hard to say if they're actually good or if people are just following a bandwagon effect where someone influential liked it and others followed suit, or if it's just empty praise. "Solo Leveling" and "Dungeon Meshi" aren't the best anime; I've seen them, but I think shows like "Houseki no Kuni," "Sousou no Frieren," "Sonny Boy," "Devilman Crybaby," "Dance Dance Danseur," "Vinland Saga," "Fruits Basket," or "Tengoku Daimakyou" had a moderate to large impact on social media and are actually good anime. Again, I believe that if you're part of a bubble where there are more people who are just starting to watch anime recently or only care about what becomes mainstream, you'll probably be disappointed with anime recommendations. And these anime I mentioned, I didn't even have to look far to mention them; I think the oldest would be "Houseki," which is from 2017, so it depends on what you consider "new."

As far as I know, "Jujutsu Kaisen" truly becomes good in its second season, and even then, it's not immediate. I haven't watched the anime yet and don't plan to anytime soon, so my view on it is more like an outsider's. I don't know why you're surprised; shonen anime always stand out; it's what most anime audiences like to watch, so it's normal for them to overshadow other genres.

I agree with you about "Spy x Family," but I don't think there was a huge hype around it. After the first half of the first season, many people liked it because it was a more laid-back show, and after the first airing, people just dropped it, at least that's how I felt.

"Oshi no Ko" doesn't stand out much; the anime's strength was its production value and how the direction told the story. Honestly, I don't think the anime at its maximum potential is superior to a 6, but even so, I still feel like I can watch another season.

I watched Madoka a long time ago, but I remember it not being the worst thing in the world. I think the reason it gets such a big hype is because it popularized the "deconstruction of the magical girl" trope, almost like an avant-garde, so I understand its fame.

I understand what you mean, and I can even say that I've been attacked because of the scores I gave to certain anime, and I've even been insulted when I responded to them politely. But I must say that of all the people I've talked to on this site, those people were the minority. I think it's like you said; we have more things to do in real life than simply worry about what an anonymous person says about a show we like or not. At the end of the day, if you don't feel comfortable with these people, just block them and go back to real life. Don't worry so much about what people say on the internet; watch what interests you and don't listen to what others say. Live, grow personally and professionally, focus on yourself and what you like. Paying attention to this type of person will only make you more and more bitter, and I say this with all the respect in the world. It's not worth arguing with those who aren't open to seeing the big picture.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I was sorting out some things IRL. I'm usually more active on the weekends, so don't worry, I'll respond even if it takes a while.

There will always be people who overhype something, it's not limited to anime, but I understand what you mean, what's left to do is isolate yourself from social media where people overhype things or try to keep yourself in a more bubble. neutral.

I've seen one or two people who like TR, although these are the minority, most people actually don't like the story, both the anime and the manga, there are people who say that it starts out good and loses its quality with time, so I think most people agree with your opinion, I only watched the first episode of the anime and it didn't really catch my attention, so I avoid getting into a discussion with anyone who defends the anime, because even more As far as I know it's not good, I don't have enough basis to sustain a debate about it.

I understand how it is, life brings several occupations to our time, my life is very busy and has become more and more so, what I do is separate about 5 animes and watch them when I have time, on the weekends.

Actually, most of the anime that premiere nowadays are of low quality, Tokyo Revengers is a good example of a bad anime that became famous, I've never seen anyone speaking well of it by the way. But I don't think there's such a huge load of new good animes that I can't keep up, at the end of the year there must have been 9 highlights, but that's just my opinion, of course.
Pietr00 Apr 20, 10:08 PM
interesting combination, I believe that of these 3 pokemon it is the most famous, followed by yu-gi-oh, but it is rare to see someone from the precure fandom, even though it is a famous anime that many people know, it is rare that someone appears who is so dedicated to this franchise (not a bad thing).
Pietr00 Apr 20, 8:28 AM
Don't mind about late replies, we all need to sleep and do thing IRL.

Really? Stardew Valley is a pretty famous games, that's the first time i see someone that doesn't actually know about it.
Pietr00 Apr 19, 10:58 AM
Hey man, my day is peaceful, just playing Stardew Valley. And how is your day?
StardustSynchro Apr 19, 4:31 AM
I was never a huge Jujutsu Kaisen fan or even cared much for it tbh.

I see we're of similar age. Have you recently started watching anime? I've been watching since I was a kid, but I don't remember what many of they were called.
MoesianThracian Apr 15, 4:56 AM
Doing fine at the moment. Nice sentai guy.
