I don't remember the plot of each route super clearly, but I definitely have a vagueish impression of the length of HF. Particularly a huge Illya exposition scene, many many Kotomine talky talky scenes, and Zouken being alive for way too long. I can't really see it working as movies somehow ><

Archer's development somehow seems more 'Hollywood hero'-type to me than the themes of HF :P

HF is probably my favourite route though, even though it's low on Saber. (Maybe it's the one where Shirou is least dumb.)

Ayup, I've only watched Fate/Zero and the Kara no Kyoukai movies and I've also played F/SN Visual Novel.

To be honest, Fate/Zero doesn't make my favourites-of-all-time anime. Largely in part due to the ending, and my intense dislike for Kerrytugu (and non-interest in Kotomine). lol it sounds like I really hate the series if I put it that way :P

For a setup like that, having a visual novel with multiple routes is good, because juggling the interactions of 7 or more independent parties throughout is too much. You'll end up with some caricatures, some empty confrontations, some parties that seem to spend all their time sitting around (lookin' at you Tohsaka).

It's plenty entertaining though. What do you think about the news of UBW getting two seasons and HF getting a movie (series)? How many movies do you think are necessary to adapt HF :P
