THAT'S MY FIRST REVIEW
first lets start with the story:
The MC is a man who seems to be an immigrant in that nation with no ID at hand, and is very passionate about boxing, however based on his circumstances to make a living he has to participate in rigged fights even if he doesn’t like it. His manager or partner always promises this will be the last fight that is rigged but he always lie to junk dog and feels like he has a leash on him because he has nowhere else to go. This all changes when they announce 'megalon', this giant international machine
...
boxing tournament to become the WORLD CHAMPION and what also sparks this is when he runs into the protagonist.
more information about the story:
from the start of episode 1 i got too much chills, when they said Ashita no Joe 50th anniversary project i started to like it because if you know what Ashita no Joe is, its a manga by the writer Asao Takamori and it was illustrated by Tetsuya Chiba and it was on 1968. that's the reason why they made Megalo Box.
Art: 'THIS MAY CONTAIN LITTLE BIT OF SPOILERS'
The art was amazing the moment i saw the slow motion in the fight 'in the end of ep1' I've got the real chills there, and the fight in the first of the episode, even though he didn't fight hes punch was so good that even i thought that was some hajime no ippo reference lol. and the art somehow it makes you think its like old anime but with good quality.
sound:
The ost 'original sound track' in the fights and the start of the anime was a MASTERPIECE,it makes me remember the old anime I've watched such as cowboy bebop or ashita no joe.
