Before the anime was announced I had read my first 3 chapters of light novel. Then dropped it because I don't read light novels.
But just to see what is popular nowadays. And then the announcement came, "Haha I knew they would make anime from this 🤣". Opened Discord and wrote to my friends "I won this bet 👍".

To start this review I really recommend this anime for everyone that never watched any Chinese animation before.
I feel like this could be a good start for everyone. Except for me haha, the only Chinese anime I watched was Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai! I started watching Da Wang Rao Ming after I watched the opening and then It came... "Didn't I read some chapters from Manhua?" Then I get slightly excited... "Wait weren't there dungeons appearing in the city?" More excited... It's an anime based on a popular game series Atelier. Atelier Ryze the game was popular mainly because of its thick thighs, which the anime utilizes perfectly.
If you never played Atelier games or didn't finish it, then maybe this anime isn't for you. It has the same pace, same side quests and quests as the game. Animation from episode 1 to episode 6 is mediocre if not bad, but from episode 6 it gets better. Maybe they replaced the art director. Anime enjoyment after watching the whole 12 episodes in 2 days was pretty good, especially after that 6th episode when the animation got better. You can't expect ...

What is wrong with the anime industry for real? This season honestly sucked. This particular anime has not been as bad as others, but still, the industry is going downhill. I like isekais and generic shows, but when something is overused, it just gets old. The art is mediocre, the setting is generic, and the main character... let's just say I had good hopes for him in the first few episodes, but in the end, they made him act stupid, generic, and boring. The last episode was just okay, with not-so-fancy effects on a very tight budget, everyone lived happily, and no one was killed.

A huge disappointment the first season was somehow bearable but this season is absolute thrash. Not only are the jokes not funny and overused, but you will also even lose track of what is happening. The show has a very poor story, with many unlogical things.
Dont watch this show, here are the reasons: The animation quality is subpar, with lazy character designs and generic backgrounds. The pacing is all over the place, with important plot points being rushed while filler scenes drag on for way too long. The characters are one-dimensional and lack any real depth or development. Overlord is the most popular anime out there. I can't even comprehend that it is finally the fourth season. Ever since I saw the first season 7 years ago, I though this shit is so good it wont get another season, as well as other amazing series out there. Komi-san cant communicate. Hah interesting... That's what my first impression was after reading the title of this anime. Little to my expectation this turned to be somewhat of a decent anime.
Making the main protagonist unable to speak a word to another person while being constantly at the centre of everyone's attention sure does sound like a pretty interesting plot.
