Great "Grave of the Fireflies" review. It made me reconsider my score of it.

Today was a pretty good day, I can't believe I actually bought stuff lol :)

Yea I haven't gone to a panel in years, and there's never anyone I really need an autograph from. I don't ever buy figures or art either, so really I just go to look at cosplays and stuff. Since I have the lifetime pass I don't ever have to pay to go anyway. Plus it's rough to feel the years, seeing the young folks and knowing I've seen 10 times as much as they'll likely ever watch. But it's nearby so it's cool to see how big anime's gotten in the past decade.

It was Otona Joshi no Anime Time, never heard of it before. My Space Brothers review is still the top, crazy to think how long ago that was..

I haven't been to Anime Expo since 2017, but I did get a lifetime pass for Sac Anime. Going tomorrow actually!

What is below on about?

how the hell did you expect a KID to know exactly what to do in the middle of a war. after having to see the state of his mom and having to watch her be cremated after. in a place that rained shrapnel and dead bodies occupied the streets. he wasnt even given the time to grieve properly. its not as if taking care of a younger sibling was taught in school. its not as if he attended a keep-your-sis-alive training. and its not as if he had already experienced that sort of tragedy before, that trauma. not to mention that he's a boy in a time where gender roles were practiced religiously. he was not taught to be a babysitter. you cant expect him to be rational. you cant expect him to be mature. you cant expect him to act like an adult. he's an adolescent. he might be older than the sister but he was a CHILD regardless. try to humanize the boy, man.
