Story 9: Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni had a very unique way of telling its story, though it is not for everyone. The short scenarios worked for me because it offered good stopping places after just a few episodes, unlike most shows where I usually have to stop when something interesting happens and I can't stop thinking about it (which is intentional I guess). The overall story was fantastic in my opinion and the ending was done very well.

Baccano has a very interesting story which I do not plan to spoil so don't worry if you didn't watch it. The story of Baccano seems to move at a very fast pace however this is due to the fact that the overall story consists of 3 smaller stories that move at a regular pace. Baccano seems to progress fast because of its unique way of going to its 3 different story lines. You have to pay attention to what's happening or you will get lost in the story. Art:6 Nothing really jumps out color wise in Baccano (at least to me) except for the color red. ...

The synopsis sums the story up and I thought it was pretty original, the money part at least. Art:8 I had no problem with the style of art in this show and what gave it an 8 for me was the style in the financial district. I liked how each country's financial district had a serperate color that is themed with it and I personally liked everything else about the financial district. Sound:6 The sound in any anime doesn't usually jump out at me. This was the case with C: Control. The reason I gave it 6 instead of a 5 is because I liked the opening song but ... |
