Definitely agree, I think whenever someone who wants to get into anime asks me for recommendations, my immediate thoughts go to Naruto, Bleach, FMAB, and Death Note. Naruto and Bleach are textbook example of classic shonen animes (One Piece too but the amount of episodes would definitely be off putting to most people) FMAB and Death Note are shows that I think can appeal to everyone regardless of what they like
Is Ib $12.99 on Steam or is there a free version :D Im scared of downloading random game files though since the last time I tried to install some files I got a virus LOL
I play on laptop so it's hard to find compatible games, but I enjoy platform games and mobas

Omg I remember Gintama's Saito, he was hilarious. Do you mean Saito is left handed in real life or that's what he said in the anime? (I havent seen ep4) Since Gintama's Saito was also a dual swordsman but I also searched Hakuoki's Saito was left handed. Tower of God was indeed unbearable, and the only reason I finished it was because I held on hope from the first season
Is Alien Stage supposed to be the playlist of videos under Vivinos on Youtube? Well hopefully Im correct since I'll check it out in a sec :D

Aww I get that. Sometimes its important to remember that work = paycheck. For most people, a job is just a job, whereas for others, work is their passion. There's really no right or wrong answer, but at the end of the day, if anime and music are what you enjoy, then go for it. As long as you find your balance and what makes you happy!

Yes in one of my top 8 hehe :>

I thought Lucy's Cancer Star Dress had the most potential. Imagine all of the things she could have done with the star dresses if given the chance. She could have been a swordsman, sniper, etc, or even taking on elements of the spirits, such as Aquarius' water powers like Juvia, or Virgo's earth power like Jura.
Urahara's bankai was so cool, and I thought it was a really fitting power for someone who always fights by himself/works behind the scenes of the Soul Society. Also the fact that its a woman is so fitting for his personality LOL

I enjoyed the first season. It had enough to keep me entertained and wanting more, but it still felt flat at some points, like when it was revealed that Anak was also a princess, or when Bam revealed himself as an outsider, or even everything that happened involving Rachel. I do also think the whole "let's climb the tower" thing felt really abstract and at certain times throughout the show, it felt like some of the characters had lost their purpose of climbing the tower altogether. It reminded me of HxH, but what HxH does better is that it had an actual plot, lore, and fighting system, and just Gon's overall character in comparison to Bam.

Edit: nvm you can ignore that whole comment about HxH, I could have sworn you've seen the show :D

"what you see is what you get" is the perfect way to describe him haha. I also like the part about him being very ambitious. Thanks for giving me your pov, it was a pleasure to read.

I find All Might to be a great overall person and inspiring ofc. But the thing I like most about him is that he doesnt give up even after losing his powers, just shows that he's much more than just his quirk. He just inspires me so much to become a good person, also he's very funny at times haha. Have a great day!!

Cosmic_Kitsune Nov 11, 6:14 AM
You haven't seen Demon Slayer yet? Are you serious?
I have decided to start and finish Gintama like 100 times, but never actually started it.

Absolutely, I still haven't finished it, Looking forward to it. You will be the first person to know.
Hahaha probably yes I think he should not become a Hero.

IKR his Bankai is so creepy and exciting at the same time. First time we got to see his real potential as a fighter. XD

Totally :D :D we are on the same page when it comes to TOG XD It will be worse. Rachel is a bitch.

Yes Yes indeed. XD Yeah plus sexy hahaha
Jiehsnd Nov 10, 8:12 PM
Of course hehe Im glad I didnt bore you, I always enjoy learning about different mythologies :D

Naruto wasn't my first anime, It was Akame Ga Kill, but I remember thinking that way about Naruto since it was like the first mainstream anime that I had heard someone talk about and actually recommend to me...then I thought ah this is the type of animes people actually watch. Yes I was quite a stupid kid LOL
Ok ok I think we are definitely talking about the same Ib (I think there's only 1 anyways) I just need to learn how to appreciate those types of graphics xD. Im definitely in the mood to try to out a new game though, do you know where I can download it?
cut off their hair as a sign of change or a new mindset too
Ooh yes you're so right about that! One of my favorite characters went through that as well if you want to try and guess :3

Ok so I had to give it another try since you talked about up ep2 :> Ep 2 was nice, like you said I do enjoy some of the other characters like Kondo better. In my opinion, Ep2 would have served as a good OVA episode or something like that. So far it feels like all of the scenes are just so out of place, like especially it felt like something was missing between the two episodes. I did notice you dropped it after ep 4 (which I thought was hilarious xD) so I dont have high hopes with how this show will go, and maybe I wont waste my time going into ep3 :> Nonetheless, I really appreciate the recommendation. I thought it was nice that we were able to start a new show together based on our initial talk about Gintama leading up to Shinsengumi, so thank you for that <3 and Im looking forward to better recommendations hehe
Yes I love work LOL I feel anxious often so it always help to keep myself busy with things

I can understand where you're coming from. I understand that celestial magic ties in with the whole friendship is magic concept, but some of Lucy's celestial spirits felt really really stupid and I mean that in the nicest way possible. If we compare spirits like Taurus and Saggitarius to Libra and Ophiuchus...like it's not even up for debate. I thought the Star Dress magic was a nice powerup when it was first introduced (although it's still crazy to think about how it took Lucy 200+ episodes to finally get an upgrade) but the execution could have definitely been better. The star dress felt more of a replacement for her spirits just so that Lucy could get hands on combat
Yeah we can forget I said that about Guildarts idk why I thought that xD. Kyouraku was the best! You said it perfectly :> I loved how laid back he was, but was always able to step up for his lieutenant when she needed him. Not to mention he had like one of the coolest bankais in the show!

I want to forget all of it! =D It was terrible!
Ok ok fair :D Im curious did you hate both seasons or was it just s2 that you didn't like in particular.
Okamoto Nobu-sama
Ah the simp, she's back :>

HimmelExplores Nov 9, 2:24 PM
I hope this doesnt come off as rude but I am curious as to why you have Bakugo as your fav character, mind telling me?
sweetmerodii Nov 7, 8:41 PM
I am watching some seasonal anime. I also have been rewatching some episodes of Gilmore Girls.

Cosmic_Kitsune Nov 4, 9:30 AM
PS Grimmjow is BACK! OMFG!! He's one of my favourites too :D
Cosmic_Kitsune Nov 4, 9:29 AM
Yeah, that is true, The only good anime with better art is Demon Slayer because that's the main highlight of that show.

Surely, I will give it a try, for me its hard to keep track of reading manga, I need to find a good Application where I can read it often :D xD

Yeah I think I am almost at that episode where he will fight with him. So looking forward to it :D :D
That is also true but it doesn't fit the entire process or logic of being in the Hero course. Mineta is a pervert haha XD

Well, I am waiting for those Bankai specially Kisuke Urahara he's one of my favourites from Bleach :D :D What about you?

Haha totally, adult life is no fun, just work work work pay bills and repeat the routine!! I need more fun and less stress and tension. XD

Hahahaha I can totally understand what you mean and I will also watch the new season even if its bad because I wanna know how the story folds.!! I sound like a masochist haha :D
Jiehsnd Nov 2, 6:14 PM
Oh there's a lot xD but here's some that I do know -
All tailed beasts are inspired by some yokai - 1 tail (Bake-Danuki), 2 tail (Nekomata), 4 tail (Wukong), 8 tail (Ushi-oni), 9 tail (Kitsune). With the other tailed beasts being inspired by different apparitions
Kaguya - The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter ~ Ghibli also has their own movie adaption of this called The Tale of the Princess Kaguya if you're interested
Amaterasu (born from Izanagi's left eye) - Sun Goddess, Tsukuyomi (right eye) - Moon god, Susanoo (from Izanagi's nose) - Storm God ~ Common theme from Uchicha and Senju is that most mangekyou abilities are inspired by Shinto Gods whereas Hashirama's techniques are inspired by Buddhism
Indra - Embodiment of Good, Asuras - Evil Goods ~ Inspired by both Hinduism and Buddhism
But yeah that's all I know :D there's so much more out there, almost everything is inspired by something

I was into anime before I was friends with him, but I guess he helped me explore a lot of the longer animes too. I remember watching Naruto for the first time after we talked about it, and I told myself wow so this is what real anime is huh. LOLL

I've only played part 1 of Higurashi, but yeah I wouldn't recommend if bloody horror is not your thing! Ib looks interesting...are the graphics supposed to be like that? I searched it up and thought it was just fan art or something xD
Could there even be female samurai back then?
Oh thank you for that, you're so right about this, I can't believe I missed that. Shinsengumi were an elite group of male samurai. I had to reread the first volume a few times to understand it but it's coming along in my tiny head now :D You're right about the top knot eventually turning out to be a sign of status and honor. I've heard there is also a tradition for samurai to actually cut off their own top knots as a sign of retirement/stepping down from their position. This was also seen in a different anime but I don't want to spoil :D
Ok ok Im glad you brought that up about Ao no Miburo. So now I don't have to feel guilty when I talk xD. Maybe it's just me since I've only seen the first episode (I know I said I would catch up this Sunday but I don't know if can bring myself to watch another xD)... that sure was terrible. I mean, what was that 10-2 battle? Where even was the battle? Where was the build up? And then the episode ended off with a sappy emotional scene with Nio that quite frankly, did not work at all because again, there was nothing going for his character. Like I'm honestly lost for words xD. I will say though, something I wish they could have expanded more on was how they labeled the two mc's (idk their names :D) as the kidnappers, then immediately disregarded that in the very same episode and revealed them as the Shinsengumi. It felt unnecessary to even include that part in my opinion.
Hehe I just finished my shift! Im working as Student Ambassador for one of the colleges on campus. I enjoy work though so it's fine :D

I remember being really excited when Lucy was first revealed as a celestial wizard. Even looking back now, I can confidently say, that celestial magic is so unique in comparison to really any other anime power out there. Fairy Tail had so many great magics, but ultimately they just had to stick with fire, ice, wind, and swords as their main magics. Which is no different than any other magic anime out there :D
I remember when Guildarts first came back and talked about his encounter with Acnologia, I thought there was no way there was a real dragon and it had to have been something else xD. So I definitely wish we had more insight on that :D Omg and the story with Cana's mom, that would have been hilarious lol. I really enjoy Guildarts' magic though. It's really simple, but it works for his character and in comparison to the show. I do enjoy characters like Guildarts and Jiraiya, even though they are quite pervy, but what can I say, they're enjoying their lives xD and would for sure to love to learn more about them

I noticed you just finished Tower of God. Do you want to talk about that :D
splashlattae Nov 2, 1:10 AM
Heyy! Sorry for the kinda late reply :(
Yeah, I noticed that Tatsuhisa seems to be rarely involved in voice acting. Too bad, I know maybe it's because of his cheating scandal but still, I hope he slowly gets more voice acting projects
Oh wow, I just found out that Kaminari Denki's voice actor is also a singer, and I was even more surprised to learn he’s the one who sang Twisted Hears, the second opening of Yuukoku no Moriarty, I really like that song anyway :)

HAHAHA I think you are right, if Deku and the others actually died at that time, everything would have
been easier since AFO + Shiggy would have won, UA High and Japan in general wouldn't have had to go through a major collapse against them later on, and the funny thing is that it was all caused by Bakugo's stubbornness lol.
Yeah Deku would handle things with care. Bakugo would also try his best too even though he might mess it up sometimes XD
Oh, I totally get your point. That’s such a great way to describe his character. Bakugo really is such a multi-layered character, witnessing him evolve from an arrogant bully into someone genuinely heroic has been such a satisfying journey. I can totally see why he inspires you, his ability to stay true to himself without worrying about others’ opinions truly is a powerful impact. Don’t worry about the long paragraph, it’s interesting to sharing our thoughts ^^ Hmm, talk about my BNHA favorite character, then it has to be Shoto. I think he is one of those characters that has a lot of depth. Despite his sad backstory, I like how he gradually finds his own path and learns to embrace both sides of his abilities as a way to deal with his own trauma and define himself outside of his father's expectations. It’s fascinating to see how his story continue to unfold throughout the series and shows even more of his character :D

You’re right, in some cases the manga is usually better than the anime. I personally haven’t watched the Golden Kamuy anime yet, but I’ll probably watch it after finishing the manga since I already know if it’s something for me or not. But from what I know, the CGI bear in the first season of Golden Kamuy probably made many people drop it, so I’m giving you reminder before you start XD

Wow I haven't watched Natsume Yuujinchou yet so I just realized that Kamiya is the one who voices Natsume lol. His character range is crazy, from cool and badass as Levi, to playful as Yato, even to sweet characters as Natsume :D

Yes, it’s so touching to think that even with her chaotic nature, Toga still has soft spot for Jin that keeps her from fully embracing the darkness. Her redemption also was really heartwarming for me. And omg yes, All Might with his armor really reminds me of Iron Man too XD. Seeing All Might get back into the fight like that was so exciting. Overall, I like the way they ended this season, it was so satisfying and makes me looking forward to many things next season ^^

Ahh, I see, thank you for the review. I might give it a try sometime! I’m usually not a big fan of fully 3D animations, but in some cases, it seems fine as long as it’s done beautifully and fluidly heheh😃
sweetmerodii Nov 1, 7:13 PM
It is nice to meet you too :)
how are you doing? Watching anything good lately?
Cosmic_Kitsune Oct 30, 2:03 AM
Hey, how are you, apologise for the late reply.

Yes, absolutely that is amazing. I think both Manga and Anime have their own place. Anime makes you feel the character that is something you cannot feel while reading a manga.

Oh I haven't read that one. I heard about it. Had no idea that it had Aizawa in it. I will give it a try then.

If you talk about my favorite I like Dabi the most haha Then Todoroki and Bakugo are my favourites.
The most hated character is Minoru Mineta I think his powers are just useless idk why he is a part of Class A, even Hero Course.

I haven't finished the anime I am at ep 14 of the latest season, I think I will be able to complete it soon xD

Yes, I have read the manga but towards the end, I stopped reading it. So, anything that is happening now is new to me and exciting :D :D

Hahaha yeah, soon we realise we are old SHIT!!!

Even I haven't finished TOG S2, it's boring and I felt it was rushed.
I am still trying to finish it somehow :) only 3 episode left haha

Jiehsnd Oct 29, 10:11 PM
im here finallyyy :') thank you for waiting <3

I enjoy the folktale. Its a classic and Im sure you'll like it since you like Japanese mythology. A lot of Naruto character/themes are inspired by Japanese folktale, but the 3 sannin are some of the characters that have real world origins from Japanese folktale. I was, I actually watched Naruto in 6th grade due to a friend's recommendation then I ended up having to write the paper so it turned out perfectly:3
xD that's fair Naruto is such a long series I never remember half the characters' names anyways :D

Ooh ok I see, so it's just the difference in the perspective from whom you play from
Higurashi is definitely on the scarier/bloodier side of shows, even for horror. Sorry I figured, I just couldn't think of any other examples aside from Fate and Higurashi :(
Ok perfect. That sounds about right, if the show is good then usually I will try and look if there's any sequels, manga or game adaptions to continue the story. Although I do feel like game adaptions serve better as opportunities for players to get more connected and fangirl with characters, than invest in the plot itself. And maybe it's a mix of both with visual novels?
Were female samurai bald though? Even for male samurai, I assumed the traditional haircut was like the traditional man bun/top knot like Shogun. But idk :D
The art style is definitely growing on me! It reminds me of older art styles that you would typically see in 90s mangas, which is definitely fitting for the manga
Aww thank you for reminding me :) How are you enjoying it so far? As far as life updates, I just picked up a second part time job :D so I've definitely been a lot busier with that...but I promise I'll get around to watching it this Sunday(that's my only day off this week) If not then you can yell at me :D

Omg you're right. The beginning of Bpriggan 12 arc is honestly such a blur to me, which is a shame since Laxus definitely did have a lot of his moments to shine and bond with his group
I think Levy's magic is so underrated though! Combined with her smarts, I can imagine her using it like a stronger Reedus (the drawing guy...just to make sure, since I searched up his name too xD) or something even more creative
What I would have loved to see was Guildarts first encounter with Acnologia and how he lost the fought with Acnologia. Though if Guildarts were there to protect the guild every time then we wouldn't have a story xD
Aeveny Oct 23, 2:51 PM
Very true, yes :3

I haven't heard that one, no o:
Maybe I'll go find it and listen to it ^-^

It would be s lot of work, yes x'>
But so worth it! The cloths would be able to be used for normal wear, too because of the way they were made and with the materials!

Mhmm! I still remember Xerxes was my favorite character from it. I even did a lot of drawings of the manga panels when I was younger :3

Oh, I'm glad! Ooohhhh, I see o:
I've still only seen the first 22 episodes of Naruto and it's been living on my stalled list since ;-;

I believe so, yes. It makes it harder for the enemies to see where he's looking *nod nod*
I don't think they're *too* odd, but that's just me \o/

Yesssss, oh my goodness. Would be so cool to try the cosplay if I ever have the capital to xD
Cosmic_Kitsune Oct 21, 5:38 AM
Yeah true plus the wait time is less in comparison to an anime :D

You really love BNHA, who is your favorite? I am currently watching the most recent season which is airing. I remember the first season AL mighty vs Numo i watched that fight like 100 times, it was so cool.

Yes, I am watching new season of Bleach its amazing, the animation quality and fight scenes are too good.

Hahaha totally, sometimes its annoying to when you age like 20 years irl and anime character is the same.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
Keep track of your anime easily by creating your own list.
