A short ramble about little ol' me

I'm Rick, a 18 year old college student. I started watching anime 5 years ago but only ever bothered to start a MAL in 2023. My first movie was Spirited away and my first anime series was One Punch Man which made me fall in love with the genre. I like all kinds of shows, even the more unconventional ones. My current favourite (I say current but I doubt that it's ever going to change) anime is Monogatari. There are a lot of people who can more gracefully describe the greatness of this series so I'll leave all the hard work to them.
I like expressing my opinion so I wouldn't be surprised if I annoyed a person or two but I also wouldn't be surprised if others agreed with me.
That's the end of my little biography/ramble. I hope to be good friends with everyone :)

Your review summed up my thoughts about Mushoku Tensei. It was sold as a redemption story but it turned out to be exactly the opposite. In fact I dropped it in S2P1. An entire 12-episode arc about ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION was too much for me, to the point I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Stop trying to mold fictional characters to fit your bizzare standards that didn't even exist with said characters to begin with. Rudeus or Araragi aren't any of the things you're suggesting. You're just being ridiculous if you actually believe what you just wrote—a perfect example of the kind of nonsense we see on Twitter. Plus, you've got everything wrong about the details you mentioned, especially regarding his father and mother, who become even more significant to Rudeus as the volumes of the Light Novel progress.

I won't respond anymore because I think you're just stupid. You can't even consider all the effort that went into this adaptation without it being influenced by your emotions towards certain people on this site.

The hypocrisy on this profile is astounding. This guy complains about certain aspects of Mushoku Tensei yet seems completely indifferent to those same issues in the Monogatari series.

MT is just a pedophilic fantasy. Quit while you're ahead since there's no more story. The mother got turned into a dog mentally which is all so she doesn't complain about how Rudues cheated on his wife and became the same dirt bag as his father who cheated on her as well. Female characters are doormats if we're being honest.

Thats why the author "saved" her but gave her no chance of ever speaking up and telling the mc she is disappointed since this story isn't about consequences, its about being able to live a life outside the modern world restrictions & laws.

the mother is the most I cared about and after the bs move i definitely do not recommend this anime to anyone.
