Let me preface all of this with: This is not an anime you watch if you want to feel good.
When I first grabbed this I thought, "Oh this will be a nice slice of life," and oh how I was wrong, but ignoring that I remembered a friend of mine mentioning it was beautifully terrible after I decided to watch.
School Days is quite beautiful when it comes to the art style and the intro and outro music tracks and the story itself is fairly relateable to most boys or guys that have gone through high school. The story is not terrible considering that it's following

I just finished Eureka Seven after going through a very stressful period, my grandmother had a heart attack. I had a lot of issues with the anime but I was able to get over them by increasing my usual level of suspension of disbelief. Overall I don't think Eureka Seven was very good from a story telling stand point as I found it difficult to immerse myself in the universe that was created. That being said my issues were a lot of small things that built up over time rather than large issues that ruined my enjoyment of the anime.
