Blood† is not a series about vampires. It is a series about family and what it means to be one. Not a conventional family, as you may have guessed, but a family just the same. I watched this when it aired on [adultswim] a while back and got hooked. I couldn't help but root for Saya and Kai as they both struggled to keep their family together while their whole world was falling apart. It's hard enough for teenagers to come to grips with who and what they are, then they have to deal with being chased by chiropterans...
