Unless this is the first anime you have ever watched, you knew what you were getting into when starting this show. Now this review is subjective, every review is and I will outline what I liked and disliked about this show towards the end but I will knock out the five categories first
Story: The story is about as flat as the state of Florida. The premise of the show is the MC is trying to get the five girls to actually study, and the outcomes of his actions. There are three main parts of the anime which are the introduction, Firework festival, and school camp.
...
The introduction was fairly good and long as it needed to be to introduce 6 main characters, and you really get the feel of what each one dimensional character is. The firework arc bored the hell out of me personally, but it is actually crucial to the plot not filler, and lastly the school camp did its job in tying up loose ends but also leaving itself open for another season. The reason I gave the story a five is frankly it is very predictable. Once you get the gist of the show you know what is going to happen next for the most part.
Art: Not good by any means, but not bad either. At some points the animation looks great and in the next scene it'll look like some bunnywalker type stuff. Hit or miss, but art doesn't make or break a show for me.
Sound: I don't know what to put here and I never do. It's good I guess, if sound references the voice acting then its on point. The music in the show was alright as well, it won't leave a lasting impact on me but it is alright.
Character: So even though i said the characters were "one dimensional" in the story portion, they aren't as bad as some other harem anime out there, but at the same time when a character has one to three different moods it just feels unnatural. Miku is quiet, blushing, or upset, and it doesn't get too much deeper than that for example. I liked the MC and it hints that there is more than meets the eye, it just doesn't ever show it.
Enjoyment: this is the most important part of an anime for me, and it should be what is important to you to. I've done nothing but shit on this show so far, but I enjoyed watching it. I will watch the next season, and I have already picked up the manga. Some of the quips in this show are A tier, and yeah the characterization isn't great, but they are fun and flow together. This show had me laughing throughout. A show can be "bad" without actually being bad, and from an objective standpoint this show is average at best, but I had a great time watching this and if I knew I would enjoy the show this much I would've picked it up as it was airing instead of binging it in two night.
In conclusion, objectively not the best show, but enjoyable and binge worthy.

[Spoilers ahead and a bit of a rant]
So look, this anime isn't all that good, nor is it laughably bad. It's a mid tier show with it's ups and downs. The pacing seems very off at points. This anime is literally " toradora the isekai" and it's okay i guess. It's very hard to relate to any of the characters since the main guy's thing is that he is the slave (familiar) to a jackass, but it's cool though since she's cute.
Story
The story is nothing special nor is it original. It's a very basic isekai story. The one thing that does surprise me is how
...
the harem is introduced. It's not like the mc is just loved by every girl because he's a bland ass nigga, but he actually talks to them and helps them out. Sometimes going to extreme lengths to do so.
Art & Sound
nothing special. Art isn't the best but it isn't horrible. The sound is very basic and what you'd kind of expect from this show, but it is a little wonkey at times.
Character
It's a worse version of Taiga, but i must say, the voice actress is very good at what she does.
Before i get any further i must say it's made by the same company who produced Toradora, but that doesn't excuse some of the shots being almost complete rip offs of those in Toradora.
Enjoyment
It's something mindless that you watch to pass the time. If you are very serious about your anime, and like the logistics and shit, don't watch this.
Alright so episode 11 did kind of upset me. So this wannabe Twisted Fate pops up like "What's good wifey? Heard this 15 year old is your lover...Naaaah lemme just change that right quick"
and shes like "aight cool."
like this girl is a basic ass thot my guy. it took her about 1 episode to jump ship (a little pun you'll get if you watch the show) from one guy to another. My G the MC just said "aye hoe be quiet for a second"
then this not even able to wear a training bra ass hoe is like "ima hop on this fourty year old's dick then" You feel me???
shits got me mad that the writer just made this tsundere into a little hoe. It's obvious that the two MC's have feelings for eachother, but nah let's just ride this shit out for two more episodes. Why does my guy even put up with this hoe? He's got mad pussy my guy. Hittin up chicks left and right, and he settles on this little boy lookin ass girl that treats him like shit.

Honestly, I really enjoyed the show up until the last couple of episodes. Yeah they aren't bad, but holy shit are those episodes draining. I wish I understood the language (i'll be damned if i watch a dub that isn't like dragon ball or some shit) Just so I can play it as ambient noise. The summary of the show goes as... this show is over 20 years old, if you don't know about NGE yet you're either young (like me) or new to anime (also kind of like me) I'd recommend it to most people, but it can be draining. I loved the first
...
20 episodes of this show. *minor spoiler* Shit i even liked the trippy episode where the mc got sucked into his eva...
I give this show a 7/10 but the first 20 episodes a 9/10
After revisiting the series i feel i was too harsh on the overall rating. I still stand by what I said but ill bump it up from a 7 to an 8.
Honestly, I feel my issue with NGE is watching it like it was any other show. I sat down and just watched one episode here or there, recently I re-watched it and End of Evangelion, and while I don't think I will bump the score up... it is one of my favorite shows. The last episodes are draining, but they are beautiful at the same time, and i don't think i really got that the first time around.

F**k this show.
First thing first, I enjoyed this show. After the first 2 minutes, i thought it was trying to one up the trashy shows we have been getting lately, but when it turned out to be the butt of a joke i knew this show wouldn't be too bad.
The story was awkward to say the least. It wasn't bad by any means, but weird at some points. Sometimes the show would take itself seriously then *BAM*
Jailbait tits (Wait she doesn't count as jailbait, she is 18)
The second half of this show is really
...
what made me enjoy it. Actual development, actual feelings, and actual stories that you could relate too. This Show's "story" boils down to raunchy humor with some surprisingly good moments. It's a comedy through and through, but it can get some emotions out of you. (some of those might just be anger)
Story:8
Nothing much to say about the art, nothing stood out nor was it ugly. It was meh I guess...
Art:6
Same with the sound as above. You could complain about the repetitiveness of the music, but oh well. It sounded fine.
Sound:6
Early on in this show's season, I couldn't have fathomed me saying this, but the characters are one of the strongest points in the show. Maybe because this show just stands out for the genre it's in, but the character development was kind of good. Like i said previously, the second half of this Show's cycle really made it as good as it is.
Character:8
The show is very enjoyable. There are many episodes, or flashbacks, that you can relate too. You almost feel bad for some characters when you realize that they will never achieve what they want. Fuwa's life kind of falls apart, but he picks himself up. Oh i should probably talk about the humor. That's hit or miss, if you aren't okay with raunchier humor you might not enjoy this show.
Enjoyment:8
Overall, this show blew my expectations. That isn't as good as i make it sound. My expectations were astronomically low for this, but i picked it up and it wasn't bad. This show should leave you saying "A season 2 is all you need"
Overall:7.2
still waiting for that season 2 in 2019...;(
