Without the whole package I probably won't be checking MAL as often as I used to.
But if you wanna add me on Discord this is my username: Gwazi Magnum#5117
So what'd you think of it? :P
Btw, about to pick up Houseki very soon. I've heard it's godsauce and I'm beyond hyped tbh. What can I expect?
Jospeh Joestar is such a funny and enjoyable character! xD
I think one of my favourite scenes of his was this:
And thanks. The skills got some focus cause I found vanilla wise players often were a bit starved skill wise if they didn't go the "Half Elf College of Lore Bard" route. That and Intelligence was almost universally the dump stat other than for Wizards, so it seemed like a way to tackle two birds with one stone.
Roll20 is definitely worth it if you have friends that you want to play with, but aren't able to meet up face to face for whatever reason.

That's the dropbox link to the homebrew so far.
As for advice? Always aim to keep it to the core of the system you're modifying. Like with 5e try to keep it quick and easy to follow, avoid high modifier stacking, respect bounded accuracy etc. If it's deviating too far from the core part of your issue may be you're using the wrong system as a base.
And yea, it's pretty easy. You just need a stable internet. And that with Roll20 you also need to give yourself time/patience to learn the program. Macro's, Soundtracks, Map's they're all relatively easy to do, once you know the basic tricks and how to manipulate things. The biggest mistake I see people make is spend 5-10 minutes on learning it and then give up declaring it broken.
I've been watching through Critical Role slowly, 3 hour episodes are long to sit through. xD
Currently I'm at Episode 16, which is still a solid 48 hours minimum.
Among my IRL group of friends I've gotten the reputation of being the guy who is constantly tampering with the rules. To the point I made a bit of an overhaul of the 5e system (specifically I focused on feats, wanted them to have more combustibility like in Pathfinder, minus the modifier stacking), and currently both of our DM's utilise those rule sets. As well as other misc rules I've added.
They're all configured in a couple of documents on Dropbox actually.
Atm though we all play via Roll20 because people moving away and such.
Atm I'm a player.
I was DM'ing about a month ago but we swapped DM's/games due to personal matters.
What's your own D&D experience? :P
Though now I'm wondering what lead you towards me. xD
And man I need to find myself more D&D games.
We have some mutual friends and you sent me a friends request. :P
