I love video games a lot! Especially the JRPG and VN genre, however due to work I haven't been playing it in years now. Next year February 2016, happens to be my last year of traineeship work. I hope that really is the end of it and not continues, I want to return to my school days with tons of free time :(
My History on Anime:
I've started anime when I was around the age of 14. However most of the series I've watched are not placed in my anime list. It is until 20th of September 2012 that I placed my first title in my anime list. (You can see that this account is created 2013 but that's because I switched and abandoned my previous account.) It is also the day that I decided to implement the use of Start-Dates and End-Dates in my Anime List which I thought was a pretty good feature to have.
I used to watch anime with a 3.5" screen with a really low resolution - the size was about the range of 40-50MB each episode.
My first time watching on a 5.5" on an anime series was Hagure Yuusha no Estetica in pitch black darkness during Midnight. Till today I can still remember clearly how I am in great awe having such a big screen to watch an anime series.
As of now, I'm occasionally using my Galaxy Note 3 (5.7" OLED screen) to watch anime. Sometimes, usually in the weekends, I would use my 17" laptop (which I bought around July 2014) to watch anime instead. The resolution is always 1080p and if there's no option for it, I would go for 720p instead.
Thing I Do Daily for Anime:
I would also always archive my anime series for easier accessibility since my HDD is connected to the router and is treated as a NAS storage. How cool is that? I'm also planning on buying a 5TB external HDD (the one that needs a socket for it to work) during Black Friday to make use of that feature.
Do take note that in the previous Black Friday 2014, the cost for 1 is only at $140 USD!! I'm sure it would have similar pricing or even cheaper for this year's Black Friday!
I also upload anime to OneDrive (cloud storage) and am aware that I might get banned for doing so and am prepared for it. However I've not been banned yet when it's already the 6th month I think..? So it should be fine as long as I don't link-sharing to others, or it might just be that I've not been caught yet.
The main reason for why I'm uploading it might be because I have 10TB in OneDrive and could ask the admin for more if my storage is gonna fill up. However that is very unlikely for a very long time and by the time it reaches that amount, there might be a much more viable option to go for than Onedrive.
How I rate anime:
- How enjoyable they are (most important, of course)
- How the story goes (this is just my personal opinion of the series of how I would like it, some of the series I enjoy them but they just don't go with how I feel)
- What else is there to put.. (not sure, will leave it alone for now) :P
I'm not sure what else I should say but .. lets enjoy our lives with anime :)
Do inform me which series might interests you in regards to the upcoming 2015 Spring Anime!!
Happy New Year! Wishing you a more relaxing year so you can play more game and watch anime. (After reading that, I also missed my childhood day :( those were the time where I can be carefree now got so much responsibility it can tiring at times.)
Hmm. I haven't really looked into the upcoming shows yet. I generally take them as they appear, since it seems there is never really enough description to go on until then. But, looking at this chart:
I might look at Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Vivid
I will probably watch Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu (though, much as I loved "The Disappearance", I have mixed feelings about 'alternate' stories)
I might check out Kyoukai no Rinne
Definate Hello! Kin'iro Mosaic (and I'm glad they fixed the name)
Maybe Hibike!
I have to decide if I want to pick up Fate/stay Night UBW (I keep circling...)
Maybe Ore Monogatari
Definately Houkago no Pleiades (I liked the shorts)
Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Zoku
After a few false starts, I tried "http://www.pimsleur.com/learn-japanese" and...it worked. I went through levels 1-3. (I *just* now see they have a level 4 - I didn't know that). After that, I picked up a few books, though the best were the "Japanese From Zero" books 1, 2 and 3 (http://www.yesjapan.com/). I've gotten fairly good with the kana, but I'm struggling with the kanji (I'm not longer able to memorize like I was able to when I was young). Last year I finally found a place offering evening classes to intermediate students for a reasonable price, and took three classes (one night a week for ten weeks, each), which really helped my conversation skills. Unfortunately, I've not made much progress since the first of the year - to much going on at work. I need to get back to studying!

Shimizu, Risa - sounded exactly like sawashiro miyuki in Shingeki no Bahamut when she's chasing the goose near the end of the episode 3
