It often happens that things are not solely rated on their quality, but on the expectations of the watchers as well. IMO, Charlotte is one victim of this process.

Story: 7/10

Teens with superpowers yadda yadda yadda. You've already read the description and other reviews, so I won't bore you.

The story itself might be kinda generic, but I like the exposition and pacing. I binged the whole thing though so I might not be accurate, but I feel the story transitioned through arcs really well.

Art: 10/10

I don't care much about art in an anime in general as long as it's not horrible, but I loved it ... in this show.

Character: 7/10

This might be the shows biggest problem. Leaving the generic and sometimes lifeless characters aside, the character interactions are just TOO CONVENIENT. That's just how I describe it. It's like everyone and everything bends for the plot. Forget about the side characters who are nothing plot and humour devices, even the main cast behaves like this!

I still kinda like them though so go figure. I think it had to with the fact that I haven't seen enough magic high school anime for me to find them annoying.


Also, the MC becomes a completely different person in a very short amount of time, but it didn't bother me much. It was as if the plot was more important than the character himself, and it's a stand I can respect.

Enjoyment: 9/10

Loved watching it despite all its faults.

I completely recommend watching it.

I think most of the flak the show receives is because of other factors like being similar to other shows and the expectations people had for it.

I binged the show, though - so my experience might have been different from others.

I've said it for a long time that Fullmetal Alchemist is the Star Wars of anime.

By which I mean, It's over-hyped.It tries to do too many things, and doesn't stick to one proper theme, which completely makes the show seem completely disorganized and kinda pointless.I get neither a light hearted nor a serious feel, neither funny nor dramatic.

FMA:B has a pretty great story and decent pacing but poor exposition.The world building is half assed, and has no solidity.I personally, am not a great fan of it because of the vagueness of the storyline.Nothing is explained in detail and many parts of the story are weak, ... but it has some great moments.

The character development is where it mainly lost me.The characters seem clichéd, and predictable(same feeling as star wars).There's not much effort made to build their characters.I would even enjoy the show if they had no characters, or traits or any development and the anime just concentrated on the plot.But it wasn't like that and the job was done poorly.Basically, the character building is not good.

I liked the art.It wasn't anything that made me swoon, but it was great with few superb visuals.The sound was more attractive to me than the art.Amazing VAs and great soundtracks.

Overall, While I liked the story, art and sound,The story had a few weaknesses and the characters were shoddy. It has its moments, but it's nowhere near the "Best Anime ever made".

Death Parade is a unique, bizzare and mind-meddling show.There's a large amount of things about this show that are fascinating.Of course, it also has it's problems.

Story- 6/10

The story had an epic and amazing concept and setting, drawing you in immediately.The pace was fast.Watching this didn't feel more than a few minutes to me.

However, It has too many plot holes.It's like they had a rough sketch of the plot and just decide to make an anime without planning or thinking much about it.There's many unreasonable things happening that don't fall in line with what is said.A lot of things bend away to make way for the ... plot.It had extreme potential. but poor execution, done without thinking.Basically,A lot of holes in the story.Also, nothing is explained in detail in the story.You could even call it flimsy for it's lack of awareness.This might be the first time I'm regretting this much for what could have been.

Despite all of this, It still felt decent.It was saved by it's brilliant concept and it's procedure.

Art & Sound- 10/10

OUTSTANDING MARVELLOUS AND ALL OTHER POSITIVE ADJECTIVES OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE.I mean, The opening is 15/10.The Voice Acting was so freaking good, and so fricking appropriate for the characters.and the sfx was so clear and to the point that it made my mind numb.The art was unique and possibly one of my favourites, and was so realistic in a way.You just get lost in this world with your eyes and ears.

Character-8/10

While the character development is magnificent, the characters themselves were poorly planned and executed.They had too many holes in their setting.They feel so natural, but so so poorly executed.

Enjoymeny-8/10

I freaking loved this.BUT I felt sad, and slightly irritated.What could have been a masterpiece, was reduced to just a normal "good anime".So much potential wasted away.Apart from that,It completely captivated me.


Overall, great anime.definitely recommend.Makes you end up with a bittersweet feeling.but I probably won't be rewatching.

Chuunibyou doesn't try too hard.It aims to be a above-average show and reaches that point successfully.

I thought the story was unique(I haven't seen any other anime featuring chuuni since oregairu).The simple and realistic setting of the story is what I liked best;Just a school life with friends, no BS.The pace was great.BUT the ending was a mess.They over-complicated the story.There's lots of comedy and cute/great scenes in this anime.

Art & Sound:9/10

I liked the art.It was very smooth,solid, and fluid and went very well with the cute/great scenes in the anime.The VAs did a great job, but nothing too amazing.The BGM also fits the story, but ... isn't too noteworthy.

Character:7/10

The characters felt very natural to me.Rather than the characters themselves, it's their interaction and chemistry that I liked; It was really well done.The characters also felt quite real to me.Overall, decent character development, but nothing too spectacular.

I had a lot of laughs watching this.I let out a few 'aaaaw's.The ending irritated me a bit.The show pulled me in and made me glad to be there.I had very few bored moments, and don't regret watching this show at all.

I love this novel.I haven't read anything so well planned and descriptive in a long time.What I've observed is this novel is a hit-or-miss. I've only met people who either think that it's awesome or those that think it utterly sucks.I've never met anyone who thinks it's just average.

The story and setting are great.
The style it's written in is fantastic.

Be warned, this novel is written in first-person with a lot of fleeting thoughts, so you need to keep in mind that a lot of things in the novel are just random thoughts of the protagonist, and nothing serious.

The novel is a roller coaster, encompassing various ... different concepts and so many cool ideas.The novel falls into many genres from battle, comedy, slice of life, and adventure, following the life of the protagonist from his birth.

I personally dislike the character designs and the art is this novel.

The protagonist is a pervert, who was an utter piece of shit in his previous life, has been reborn into a new world with his memories intact, and resolves to turn over a new leaf.The journey of the MC from a piece of shit to a honorable man is something amazing.

The characters in the story are deep, mature, and go through amazing development.There a variety of characters shown, all of them unique.

I know a few people disliked this novel, and I can kinda see where they're coming from. Mushoku Tensei is by no means perfect or inspirational, It's just a masterpiece and something fun to read.

Just remember that a lot of the things written in the novel are fleeting thoughts, and nothing serious.Many people misunderstand this writing style and develop negative opinions.

This anime is a disappointment.I'm a big fan of the manga and was thoroughly saddened by this poor adaption.

It starts out well enough but slowly deteriorates into a pile of anime cliches, poor comedy, and agonizing slowness.

While the anime stuck to the basic plot, it changed many important scenes from the manga.Serious scenes were made into cheap comedy, comedy scenes were cut out, and they added a few tiny details which completely neutralized the effect of important character development scenes.Then, the pace was reduced to that of a snail and every scene was elongated more than necessary.

The character development that was supposed to happen ... wasn't covered properly, and the few changes that happened were cancelled out immediately by inserting useless comedy.

The Art is the only thing good about the anime.Fantastic.


Overall, While it did have a good start, it progressed down into boredom.The general storyline is pretty good though, and it's funny despite the useless extra scenes.It had potential, but ended up wasting away.

Gods and spirits.Minor and major gods.Noragami has an interesting theme(personal preference.I love mythology).However, the story-telling is inconsistent and weak.There's humor here and there, but the weakness of the plot irritates me a lot.

Art - 7/10

Decent.but nothing too spectacular.

Character - 5/10

... This is where it bugs me.Noragami does no effort on character.Everyone's character is changed to suit the situation, especially the supporting characters.There is some charcater development, but nothing note-worthy.

Enjoyment - 7/10

Despite it's flaws, Noragami is a fun read.It sometimes irritates me, but it also makes me laugh and feel.

Overall - 6/10

I wouldn't call Noragami a worthwhile read, but it's not bad.The humor and setting are fun.

-I like this manhwa a lot.It's hilarious.

-I personally loved the story.A cool guy/pick-up artist turning an unintentional pervert/creep into a nice guy.It's quite a unique thing but it can also be seen as boring by some.But it's not.(9/10)

-Despite it's hilarity, it's written carefully and the tips in it can be put to use in real life.The emotions and stuff are captured nicely.

-The art is decent, capturing emotions and reaction quite nicely.(8/10)

-Liked it a lot overall, not many complaints except that it's slow-paced.I would give it an 8.5.

The above part is all I have to say.But MAL suddenly wants me to write a longer review, so ... i'm just adding these words for no reason.

Assassination Classroom is unique.That's the word to describe the manga.It draws you in and keeps you there.

A super-being destroys a large part of the moon and then becomes a teacher.If that doesn't make you curious, I don't know what will.

It's very funny, the art is well done, and the setting of the story in particular(a school which discriminates against students who don't perform well) is refreshing.The manga hits you hard with the realism in relation to the education system.The characters are done fine.You can see the development happening gradually.

Overall, it's a fun and refreshing manga to read.This is one of the few mangas that don't ... leave any complaints.

Wakako-Zake is a gem.There is just something so calm, peaceful, funny, and heart warming in this anime that I can't describe.The art is simple, but cute(some describe it as bad art, but they're idiots) .The VA particularly, is amazing.I also love the theme song.This is a no bs show, with a simple plot, but is just so soothing.It's something you would watch when you're depressed, and feel like doing nothing.

Overall, it's a fun anime to watch, leaving no regrets.
