Each chapter contains a different story, some loosely related with characters recycled as side characters.
I think this is a manga that people should give a chance. This manga is about prostitution, quite the sensitive topic, and something that is often brushed under the rug and looked down upon. As to how realistic the stories are, i cannot say, however it does open my eyes a bit.
The art had been pretty average, its obviously shoujo and i like that it is not too explict, keeping in the line between smut and hentai (in my definition)
The characters seems well enough deveolped for single chapter characters, enough
...
is said about them and they have enough character to form a short story. I didnt hate any of them however i canoot agree with chapter 6 character the most
I enjoyed the manga, because it was real enough to buy. It doesnt romanticize the idea of being a prostitute, the characters for the most part, arent proud of what they are doing and it shows that heavy consequences can occur. However i am a bit upset that most of them have a somewhat happy ending. As much as you wish for a happy ending to occur, i dont think it works that way in real life, of course i want them all real or fictional, to gain happiness however the worl does not work that way. Chapter 1&6 i liked the most because they seem the most real (though as much as i try i cannot agree with their reason)
Overall i would give the manga a 7.8 i think its a manga people should experience but i understand it is not everyone's cup of tea.

I love manga that has to do with the showbiz industry. So of course i had to read this one, a quite known manga about fashion. It was surprisingly shorter than i thought but it was perfect. There could be more added to make the story longer and like everyone who enjoys a series, i dont want it to end. However, i was satisfied with where and how it ended.
I understand that Yazawa Ai's art style is not for everyone. My first experience was with Nana (ok it was an anime so wasnt her work but still was an imitation of her style), i wasnt
...
really a fan at first (though i love the eye thing at the opening song) but as i progressed and as my taste developed, i began to love her style. I prefer her somewhat more realistic eye style to some other shoujo manga where the eyes take up half the face. And the fashion, i really like the outfits in this manga, well duh its a fashion manga, the clothing ahould be at least decent but it was more than that, especially that fashion show design outfit, im telling yall, screenshotting all day.
There were a lot of quirky character in this manga, a bunch of freaks and a couple of straight-men (/women) to balance the scale. The main girl, Yukari/Caroline/Carrie cried a lot and was kinda weak and whiney but somehow, i liked her when i normally hate her type. Not really sure why. George, the love interest, is the type of guy who would make you swoon and think "what a cool guy" but someone you would like to remain a fictional character and hope you will never meet (sorry George and all the other "George" out there dont be too sad about that but its the truth) i dont have a character i particularly like over others but seiji from the glittery planet seemed cool, wished he got more panels.
I throughly enjoyed it, didnt put it down except to eat and attend to my sickly self.
***KINDA A SPOILER BUT NOT REALLY...IS***
The manga was great because it was a smidge bit more realistic than other shoujo manga are, like nana it does not have the most favorable ending. And though its sad and makes you want to hate the manga, its the truth. Life is not always a rose colored dream. There are gray days as well. But it is up to you to color in reality. Quote that. But dont, its copyrighted (not T^T).
Overall? If i were a teacher, and manga were tests that are to be graded id give it a 90 good job Para, you got a borderline A-

I did not really have high expectations for this manga, the ratings were not all that high. However I was deeply surprised at how moving the manga was.
The characters were designed well and kept in character. The main ones did not feel shallow and are easy to relate to or like. I thought Yuzuru will be super annoying since I am not all that fond of kids but her cute nature got me. Kippei had became a playboy to a doting parent which was super sweet as well.
The art is cute, it was a bit shabby in the beginning but got better. It is
...
not particularly anything outstanding but was cute.
I did not expect the manga to touch upon topics such as depression, suicide, child abuse, and abandonment so well. The manga has portrayed the topics not in a romanticized way but a way that will bring tears to your eyes. I never thought I would enjoy a manga with a little kid in it but was proved wrong tremendously with this manga.

How do i say... The story isn't bad, in fact the plot s actually pretty good, something that will sound dramtic and enjoyable if a friend was discribing it to you, however, the set up was not very good. It is a great plot but not well executed.
I originally planned a 6 but taking the good parts like the plot in consideration i guess it is more deserving for a 7. Giving a grade score, 60% would be too low for it and 70% sounds about right, a C.
The art was not very good, the eyes were really large and shimmery looking and
...
the proportions werent great either. The houses were nice though.
Characters were mediocre, they seemed pretty immature in general except for a few and were lacking in some way. There wasn't an immense amount of character development but its there. Most of the gang members seems butthurt which was annoying. Bik Rak was the manga's savior character. Hyung and Yun ha werent bad but Bik outshines them imo.
The biggest flaw with the manhwa was the dialogue. When it wasnt chessy it was boring, when it wasnt those two it didnt make sense, when it wasnt those three it was lame or downright sexist. Some lines sounds pretty sexist and was offensive. A few parts were funny but not as much as i would expect for a comedy manga. Though i cant judge too harshly on it because it may be wrong on the translators part.

If you could erase your regrets in another world, would you?
I was in search for a perfect manga to oass time with so I set up some filters when manga browsing: romance, drama, school life, slife of life, tradegy; make them completed. As I browsed, I stumbled upon this manga. Just by looking at the melacholic cover design, I knew I had hit jackpot. So I waited a but to read this, so I could prepare myself. I was right to do so.
Orange met all my expectations and quickly became one of the greatest manga I've read. Everything was well designed and phenomonal. The
...
story is "anime and live action adaption" worthy; read the plot for the details. The charatcers are also really well developed throughout the story. Naho, is a timid girl who is always worry about others. She is indecisive and a huge pushover, cries over everything, lets opportunities past and regrets later. Cute but annoying as a character, the type I detest. However, with help from the letters, she starts to develop a backbone. She still is quiet and over concerned but she learns to speak up, you go girl! As the story revolves around Takeko, he of course develops a lot, thats for you who is reading this review to see for yourself.
The art is the clean, simple design of a modern manga, since this is a relatively new manga. Pretty backgrounds.
As can tell, I enjoyed this a lot, would I recommend, of course. Remember, anime and live action adaption worthy!

Of course I read this a few years after i watched the anime. The anime was good, however the ending got confusing and i wasnt really sure what it meant. I thought they separated afterwards.
The manga is much more detailed than the anime and also much more enjoyable. This is really the manga for you if you love character development and tragic backstories.
I was drawn to the story because sometimes i feel as if I'm living a lie or I'm empty inside. Such is the case with the protagonists, Yukino and Soichiro. However, they really developed as characters especially Soichiro. The manga has
...
such a positive message, that sometimes it is ok to let go and really try your best to enjoy life because after rock bottom, things will get better. Love and friendship are also powerful themes in this manga.
Another reason that makes this manga amazing is the amount of time dedicated to the side characters. Most manga dont make whole volumes about the side cast. The characters really add to the book with their individual personalities, dilemmas, and how they overcame everything.
Obviously i really enjoyed the manga, as seen with the score. Its something a bit more mature than your typical shoujo_and more humorous.

In the end, I really enjoyed this manga. For the first 10 chapters really, I was pretty bored with it. The story seemed sloppy and it seemed to drag. However, i learned with previous manga, give it a chance endure those beginning chapters and you will end up with a manga worthy of being on your top charts. Well, this manga isnt on my top charts but still pretty high up there.
The story was a great balance of plot and charatcer developement. One may disagree with the amount of times the heroine felt insecure over and over again, but hey at least she was
...
over to overcome herself and amerged anew. If you do not agree with the heroine, at least it is coear the male protagonist developed.
Another thing that is likeable in this manga is how it doesn't have that constant love rival after the girl. Love triabgles are enjoyable yes, but maybe all a reader wants is a two way romance.
Now for flaws, i read a complaint stating that she easily fell for a jerk of a guy, understandable why that may tick someone off, i was kind of upset about that too but he changes later so its good. Get over that however and a manga worthy of an anime adaption awaits,

The manga is not bad really but it had potential to be better which was a let down. It seems like a thought just put together on a whim. The main girl's background and the plot itself seemed poorly put together. The characters needed work and the story progressed too fast.
The main girl Rio doesn't have any redeeming characteristics and was a bit annoying. She seemed kind of stupid as well, her little brother, Minoru, seemed to know more than her. Lancelot was her lover who came out of a card. He seemed like a gentleman at first, like how he is portrayed in
...
legends but after he realized his feelings for Rio, his personality was off and he acted not like the gentleman he was. The card was not explained and the reason why Lancelot can't stay seemed logical but the conditions in which he can stay, wasn't so much.
The only good characters are Minoru, who seems to get pushed around by Rio and Lancelot. He is always being used in their schemes. The other good character is Yuuki who likes Rio. He is kind and although he was pushy at first he redeemed his character later. He also seems to get used by Rio and Lancelot.
The story could have been better, so I am kind of disappointed.

Another romance but only different this time. Now, the forbidden factor of loving one's own cousin is involved.
As unrealistic as most manga/anime are at tackling subjects that are considered "wrong", "disgusting" or "unnatural" in society, they manage to give the readers a more opened mind and unbiased view towards the subjects.
This manga is an example. Not only does it get on the subject on loving one's own family member, but it also touches upon loving a person of the same gender. As mentioned, the ending is probably not that realistic and involves more complications than portrayed but it gets readers to have a
...
more open mind towards the subjects at

After about a month and a half's time of reading this, i could say all 409 chapters were worth it. I decided to finally read the original work after I loved the anime when I completed it 9 months ago (was it only 9 months? Feels so long ago...). Both the anime and the manga are the longest works I've completed and both a considerable favorite of mine.
Good things about the manga
The plot is definitely good. The main character is "No-Good/Loser" Tsunayoshi Sawada who is bad at everything and a coward. He meets a baby who his mother had hired as a home tutor and
...
before he knows it, he is unwillingly dragged into the mafia world. (8)
Art
The art is not bad, like most manga, the drawings start out iffy but then later on, the author gain experience and the art looks much better. Many of the characters are quite attractive with great personality to back it up. (8)
What really makes the manga potentially one of my favorites, is that I LOVE the characters, practically all of them. KHR may possibly be the manga/anime with the the most about of characters I adore. I read a review once that criticize how all the characters and humorous and there is no "straight man". Tsunayoshi Sawada seems like the only straight man in the group ( and no not talking about sexuality but maybe..... hmmm....) but I find nothing wrong with the majority of the characters being humorous. If someone asks me to choose my favorite character in the manga, that would be the hardest decision I can make on the manga. Not only the male characters, but the female characters I like too. The author did not discriminate against gender and there was a share of awesome female characters as well. Respects to the author! (9)
Now the bad things about the manga. This is not actually the manga's fault but more like the translator's, the grammar in the translation can be off at time which i never really noticed until nearing the end of the manga, were they rushing to complete it? On more than a few occasions, text were repeated and a couple dialogue boxes were missing text. An actual con of the manga itself, and the problem I find with most shounen manga, which is a reason why I prefer anime for shounen, is the action scenes. Just black ink against white paper can be difficult to see what is suppose to be happening and many times too much ink is used and i have no idea where is the character and where is the villain, I only know what is going on by the name of their techniques. Also, (this is a thing with most action not just KHR) why do characters always have to explain their moves to their enemies and why does the enemies always just stand (or hover in the air) and listen? Last fault I can find is that although the arcs are great, I can find loopholes within, I can't really give anything away without spoiling the story though one thing I could say though is that in one of the arcs, there were these weapons called box animals and they seemed too much like Pokémon for my liking.
Overall, the manga is great, the anime is also great, if you feel like saving time, you can watch the anime then pick up from where the anime left off and jump into the manga. There are slight differences but nothing to be concerned of. I really recommend it.
