Saw you completed Haibane Renmei! I'm glad to see that you enjoyed it. Despite looking like the show had a budget of a shoestring and three Chuch E. Cheese tokens; it still manages to have a beautiful atmosphere to it. Yoshitoshi Abe is such a great character designer. I've yet to see everything that he's worked on but one thing's for sure and that is that I have adored every single thing he's been a part of so far. I'm not sure how you feel about shows that are a bit more experimental, but you should also try out Serial Experiments Lain some day.

I totally agree with you. It's far from the worst thing out there, but it's so inoffensive and generic that I can't help but to fall asleep. The second season had some really cool looking fights, aaaaand that's pretty much about it. I couldn't care less about anybody or anything in the show. Oh, Uraraka has a poor family and has to fight in order to support them? Oh no, how terrible. I am sooooo emotionally invested in these mostly one-dimensional characters. Yaaawn.

Why, thank you! I saw you added Haibane Renmei to your PTW list. You should definitely try and get to that one as soon as you can. It's one of my personal favorites!
