(TLDR at the bottom)
I watched this some time ago but never wrote anything for it at the time due to planning to release reviews for all 4 seasons that currently exist all at once, but that might be very troublesome knowing how fast I get with anime. Oh well, here's a short review.
It's an episodic SoL that features siblings behaving in the way siblings would usually behave. Being annoying, terrible communication, getting at each other and all the rest of it. It's something that anime is seemingly incapable of doing from time to time, so I guess we just leave that to donghua.
Everything here
...
makes sense. From the time at school to time at home to just about anything really, the two come across as real people all in all. I suppose it is a little more exaggerated with Shi Miao being the stronger of the two, but hey, comedy is needed somewhere. It all works out to create this—albeit not unprecedented—comedic and wholesome love-hate relationship (it's more love than hate by the way). Individually, Shi Miao behaves as a typical high school girl would: she has crushes, she gets annoyed at her brother, she has friends to talk about things like crushes too, I'm sure you know the whole book of high school girls' law if you've ever interacted with one; be assured, it checks out here. The same is true for Shi Fen, hanging out with his bro, doing dumb nonsense, you know how this goes, and yes, it all checks out with him too. Could say the same for the side characters but they are more there to keep up with the main guys, as they don't have the most personality to them other than being a slightly eccentric friend. It's whatever though.
The production here is kinda lame. It's like, partly animated. You have the model and you just move it a bit to make it seem animated. This is not always the case, but there was something about watching this that made me feel the production to it was very lazy. What I have described is just it. Sometimes it would kill a funny moment but for the most part, this was all pretty liveable. It's just a shame coming from a good-looking manga into something more low-quality, but it happens. Just not to a greatly noticeable extent like this.
—————
TLDR Review:
Good comedy between very real siblings in a very real place. Just the animation is a little sucky. Worth the time if you are down for some shorts.
—————
That's pretty much all I have to say about this. Anyone could enjoy it if they don't have the highest standards in the world, but I'd personally recommend reading the original thing since it is organic over there compared to this adaptation, but people don't really like reading it seems. This is very time-efficient however, with 3-min episodes; whatever floats your boat.

This is easily one of the funniest anime I have come across in a while. It is a little funny that I like this so much because I wasn't the biggest fan of the series when I first picked it up. Something about watching this made me realise just how great Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is.
It's a gag comedy about two strange people doing strange things in the most normal way (there are other strange people too). It's hilarious. The number of times this anime can create a scenario for the main two and elevate it into surrealism is seemingly neverending. I do find myself laughing
...
at a lot of things, but Aharen-san is a little different, with it being able to make me laugh more than other comedies have made me do so. The contrast between everyday life and just downright nonsense is not to be underestimated. Like, who the hell thinks doing a spider-man in the corner of the classroom is a good idea? But it is funny because no one seems to give one, as well as it being in the array of choices for these two. But wouldn't you know? They are strange people in gag humour. Lol…
I'd imagine people would be *very* quick to point out how this is generic or some "criticism" like that. I'd argue that is not (entirely) the case with Aharen-san. Sure, the usual plots used in episodic anime do find their way to the anime, but it's not like Aharen-san then became devoid of what makes it good in the first place. It just uses its skill to create something with a touch of itself. So even if it did indeed lack plot originality, the quality of this show is simply amazing anyway and it still feels like you are watching Aharen-san wa Hakarenai instead of some rip-off of a 2015 school comedy or whatever.
The main two are something that I like quite a bit too. The relationship doesn't have a bias on one of the two, you know the one, the whole "everyone cares about her more than him" sometimes vice versa, or in other words, one character being more interesting/important than the other. We have Aharen, the one with terrible distance comprehension, and Raidou, the one who overthinks literally anything beyond belief. The chemistry between them just goes through the roof. In addition to making everything, they do way funnier and more enjoyable than the norm. It's a relationship that makes sense, one that you want to see bloom into something more meaningful and more wholesome because these two are simply meant for each other. Who doesn't like sweet stuff like that?
A little on the side characters, whilst the attention isn't focused on them, I did find it that they are respectable people too. For example, Ishikawa and Satou behave like genuine people in this moderately strange world, to the funniest of the lot Toubaru-sensei (bless her) who, well, does the most amazing gags. So hey, there's more to love here.
I don't really have much else to say honestly, I've said everything that needed to be said. The story of this whole thing is just well… everyday life, an absurd one at that. This is easily the best thing in the season of Spring 2022 too, so another good feat to point out if you want to go and watch this. It's nice to see this get a pretty good adaptation too although I guess everyone anticipated this would happen soon with other similar titles getting the anime spotlight.

The reception of this anime is so strange. There's literally nothing here that merits any kind of universal praise as it already does.
What is introduced to us is essentially the Sun Tzu sequel hears an Aimer song for the first time and dedicates his life to making sure that music ends up universal. No hate on Aimer, by the way, I just lacked a better example.
I actually quite like the premise, as it is a good idea, and the first episode kinda sells everything really well. You know, Kongming seemed like an interesting guy, he meets Eiko and they talk about life and all that
...
rubbish. Soon after, however, it seems as if everything is pretty much forgotten as fast as it is introduced. Well, maybe not forgotten, but bastardised beyond belief. I will tell you what I mean.
You see, my main problem with everything in this anime is pretty much the inability to hold anything compelling or sincere for as long as possible. It gets ridiculously stale, ridiculously quickly. As I just said, the first episode is pretty good, flashy lights, Kongming using his brain to get the hang of this new world, Eiko trying to make it big, and all the rest of it. There are moments when the anime does become respectable again, but more on that later. Sadly, from what I remember of this show, about 90% of it was key features in this anime being ruined and watered down to mediocrity. Eiko's passions being half-hearted, more so weak, backtracking to them only when the writing called for it, to Kongming basically being a human equivalent of that genie from Aladdin. Eiko's passions being underhanded are somewhat excusable, she's focusing on actually getting better at the music first, but I'd say the passion and the strive for improvement work hand in hand because all she does, for the most part, is just nothing of her own will until around way later on. To not get into too much detail as possible, she basically meets a new character and they both think of each other as cool and they do nice things together and it is all so wholesome. Then it goes back to subpar status. But those particular moments where characters just do real things without some wish from genie or some other life hack are seldom. It's sad because, as seen, it is able to do this.
There are a lot of other flaws to note like how much Kabe's character is pretty awkward to the whole music industry thing in this anime, but I feel as if I am heading into unknown territory with the reality behind them. I don't know anything about how deals are run in the music industry or if there are rappers like Kabe (the whole wuss personality + Eminem style). I am led to believe Kabe's character is more real, but even then his character isn't the most serious thing I've witnessed, with him jumping in and out of issues with the tiniest push imaginable. The music industry is probably not as easy to mess with as Kongming has been doing, but again, I can't run off too much from it other than real-life complaints about how the whole place is abusive. I mean, it gets into it a little, but that is entirely due to some high-school band and some other online hype factors. But going on about the realism is kinda sidetracking, it is more of the fact that it is not very believable. Some important douche seems to be extremely tolerant to some random band for no particular reason, aren't there more people who are in the exact position as this group of girls? He probably needs them to fulfil some lascivious fantasies he's hiding.
Another annoying thing about these characters is how conveniently forgetful they are at times. These guys have one of the greatest strategists on their team and somehow manage to more often than not be doubtful of anything this guy does. I don't get how that makes sense at all. It's not funny. Hell, one of the guys is literally a Kongming nerd and still somehow gets shocked at anything this guy does. It's crazy if you ask me. These guys really cannot behave to a good standard, rather, they think and feel things whenever the writing calls for it.
The only guy I really like is Kongming. He's cool. He does cool things. Everyone loves him. Expect the creators of this anime. I don't know why but everything he does falls flat, it is not executed to a greater standard. When I say he is that genie from Addlain it is because he can literally do anything despite coming from a very weird place. It's absurd, but not entirely when you think about who he literally is. It causes a fine line to appear, one in which he finds himself jumping in and out of what is an incredible effort and wishes come true. Sometimes the anime abuses this and you get a stunt that has no real effect because it is just silly. Sometimes it works well though. He's a good character for the most part; he's my favourite character actually, just some things are very annoying.
The animation here was nonexistent at times, but it does deliver when it is supposed to. Sometimes you just get still shots playing out for like 2 seconds and other times you get a rap battle with actual cool effects and visuals. As expected of PA Works, they did well for this, I don't think it is the best they could have done but it worked enough to not look irregular consistently. This was just a little lazy at times but that didn't hinder my enjoyment. There's also the music in this anime which isn't the best thing in the world either. I can respect the effort though, from Kabe's raps to Eiko altogether, it was nice to listen to. But that doesn't matter, what matters is the comment saying "who else is listening to this in 2026? XD" and then for sure we will know whether this is good or not.
I don't have much else to say, there was virtually no criticism for this anime, so it seems like I am an odd one out. Maybe it just wasn't for me, but I don't really have any high standards, I just think that people liking this as I see now is a little absurd. There's better anime out there from random people wanting to become big singers (literally all of Love Live lmao) to other variants of Sun Tzu enjoyers shifting the balance of a hopeless situation in a big world (Dr Stone). But that's about it with me, I just wanted to express reasons why this isn't so good imo.

As with every other season before it, Ascendance of a Bookworm is a moderately slow story with a grand tale to tell. S3 is just one piece in that grand tale, and the quality of it is the same as everything before it.
I haven't made any review for the series before now, but to make a long story short, the whole thing is pretty good at mixing different things in Myne's life together to make for a story that's a little more than what is currently shown at any time. S3 adds a bit more to that with a ton of character motives and other
...
new characters that show up. I will not elaborate on them due to spoilers.
It still all makes sense and still makes the story entirely interesting enough to make you want to know what happens next. I will admit that it can come across as slow at times, but it makes for everything to be easy to catch onto with no real issue in regards to unnecessary complexity or going off on wild tangents. I don't think this season, in particular, opens too many doors for questions, or at least, again, it is on the same level as the prior seasons. So I wouldn't go expecting this to be a major turning point in the story so far, but it suffices to say the least. If you made it past S2, chances are you'd make it past this season too.
As with all other seasons, I've enjoyed this one a fair bit. The whole world and SoL adventure thing in this anime is pretty good stuff with the variety it can go off with. I've stayed this long and it is still something very enjoyable in the grand scheme of what is available. A very good story.

This is one of the lowest-rated manga, and I am not entirely sure why.
Alright sure, it is a little obscure and unconventional, but the whole thing seemed pretty interesting to say the least. I'd like to believe there was some idea going on behind this whole thing. Maybe this is some social commentary on being a woman, which would for sure spark up some controversy, but it would also probably be looked at as an unfortunate event in an unfortunate circumstance. But there's also the name Alice and the whole exploration thing in the original "Alice in Wonderland". Maybe it goes on too just use
...
Alice as a means to explore, well, the dark side. Again, what can I say? Maybe this is all abstract interpretation stuff. I wouldn't be surprised at that matter.
The art is what really sells the whole thing if I am honest, and with the lack of dialogue present in the entirety of this manga, I would say to take up the read to look at the art if nothing else. It reminds me a little of painting, but in some kind of artistic sketch; an artistically deformed human.
Nothing harmful here. I would imagine it is rated so low because of the lack of apparent meaning, but maybe you can look at that as a motivator to find something. You decide.

(TLDR at the bottom)
Well, it's not every day I come across something as much of a rollercoaster as this. This is coming from someone who doesn't express themselves too much as well.
Takopi's Original Sin lies within the start of the manga, otherwise, it is all pretty good for the most part. I don't know too much about how unique the idea is, but I would imagine that coping with depression and loneliness is not something I think is unique in this medium. The way it is gone around in this manga, however, is probably something to take more to heart. Maybe not all the literal
...
origins which build up everything, but instead, the plot progression and all the wild (and I do mean wild) turns that take place. It's a manga that has fully utilised its premise and created a story that isn't too dependent on being depressing for the sake of it, it also doesn't go into melodrama territory, which seems to be easy to fall into these days.
Alright but I need to actually speak about the start of the manga. It is very problematic and would have been the reason to give this manga a 1/10 if it kept going the way it did. I don't want to dive too much into it, the manga is at its most powerful when I don't go into spoilers (explicitly) but basically, everything seems to be really cheated in place as a means to drive on the story, and I do mean a repugnant exude of cheating, unfortunately, left for readers to process for some "story", but it's all cool and more so just jumping the gun. Despite absurd and lackadaisical startup, everything takes care of itself which ultimately does improve the circumstances of the manga once it gets rolling into the real content—it improves just a teeny tiny bit though.
The main thing to take with this manga is how powerful it can get with the ideas it plays with. It brings out a whole lot of messages about what is right and wrong, the battles people deal with on the inside, and the relationships between the things we love. It's all executed in a way that doesn't come across as eye-rolling, but rather, as a genuine expression that would very much what is said and done in this manga. It's very easy to take a touchy concept like this and bastardise it in ways that would make it become insufferable, whether it be due to a lack of real understanding of said topics, or inconsistency in characters that would create an unbelievable world enough so that it would be impossible to immerse or take seriously. This just isn't the case with Takopi's Original Sin. I don't have a ton of experience in psychology or anything similar, so I can only go off on what I understand (aided with logical reasoning) but I would love to believe that the story is not entirely off the mark in creating a believable premise with characters that are true to their motives.
Speaking of characters, I liked reading everything about them. Each character held some relevance to something in some way—whether that was the idea attached to them or just being a person in general. From how to deal with particular scenarios to the meaning of life, all of it. Simply amazing. I will start with Takopi, the main guy. He's naive, but that's a given when you get to know his origins (being a space alien often means you can't resonate with humans well). Honestly, if you are not patient, he may come across as very annoying. You may even be very close as I was into dropping the manga, but as stated before, give it some time. His lack of understanding actually works really well. You know, his journey means that he can understand human beings more in a variety of ways. Whether that be correcting tone-deaf actions or correcting the misguided actions of others. It's nice to see the little space dude grow, but also maintain what it was that made him, him. Being the friendly Happian with a mission to make Shizuka happy. This leads me nicely to my next character to speak of, Shizuka. If it is not already obvious from the first few pages, she is the extremely depressed girl who seemingly cannot hope to be happy for anything that isn't something she hasn't already established a relationship with. Her life is hard, and that is probably an understatement. Many things in her life have gone terribly wrong and it is easy to sympathise with her given her circumstances. I love how she progresses as a character, and whilst I am in no position to call for how legit it is that someone similar to her would progress in life as she has (given that the events that occurred here were to replicate in real-life hypothetically), I still believe that she is an honest character, albeit, maybe a few possible extremes to her behaviour, which I will not name due to spoilers, but you will come across it and think to yourself something along the lines of "hey these children are pretty scary…". Still, for pretty much the entirety of the manga, her character and relevance to themes like the meaning of life is nothing short of generally very good.
Other side characters aren't exactly stereotypical "side" characters in my vision, they serve more as people who come in and out of the story, but not so much so that they constantly "just exist" on the sidelines. In other words, these people are important in their respective times they receive the spotlight. As is every other character here, they too are well written to a degree that respects their intended human behaviour. They both deal with internal issues well, but again, in ways that are slightly exaggerated, also won't speak too much of them due to spoilers. These characters I speak of are only just Azuma and Marina.
Thinking about it, the exaggeration of these characters can come across as something of a cheap trick to entice readers to release some emotion just because. I don't think that is entirely the case, but the few amplifications do add up. I don't believe that is inherently a bad thing, considering how this manga is true to its word, it is just vamped a little, but it can also be said that the reason it is a little more than it says is due to the powerful imagery, panels and technicalities which bring out the most of each and every moment.
I suppose I will dwell on the point a little more here. For some reason, this manga looks like something Asano Inio would draw. The style reminds me of something that came out of Goodnight Punpun or DDDD (from the few pages I've seen from both). It is ridiculously detailed character designs, with the occasional detailed background. Most of the attention is on character detail however and solidifying a mark on this style of art. It's all very good and something that catches your attention the moment you read it. Sometimes this manga utilises great shocks via page-turning. If I could describe it in some other way, I would mean that this manga is good at making powerful images with the occasional turn. It brings out more to these already evil surroundings, which is really nice in helping read some more about what this has to offer, or just becoming more absorbed into how bad this world can get. The art is just very respectable and clearly something that was thought out.
TLDR: Good story with an idea not too unique, but one that is taken and presented in a way that makes this story a grand one. Characters here are believable and people who play their roles to the utmost standard. As well as an art style that puts everything into place and magnifies everything towards the apex.
—————
When all is said and done, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this manga. I went and read the entire thing in a night, and managed to write something down in a relatively (and I mean that compared to the other stunts I've been pulling) reasonable time. I am not entirely sure exactly why I read this or how I found it, but I did get to the end of it and it is something of time well spent if I say so myself. SJ+ is always pulling out good stories to feast on so it is nice the quality has not deteriorated for what I know of its standing at this point in time. Anyways, I don't have a lot to speak of other than I would very much recommend this if you have an hour or 2 to spare. There's no downside in reading this if I do say so myself. It is just a good psychological drama. What more do you need? Aside from the fact that the first few chapters are something that requires a lot of patience, this is all good to go.

(TLDR at the bottom)
Well, I can't describe this in an elegant way. The whole thing is simple and to the point, but it is to not be underestimated, for the story to share is a pleasant one that serves well for the time that is to come.
Hedgehog Harry is a wholesome tale of a hedgehog looking to give hugs to others. It's hard being a hedgehog and having this desire. I'm sure you can figure out why. The whole story is really about meeting similar people in his situation and growing with them as they all come to terms with who they are and
...
the predetermined standards in place with them. The path the story takes is nothing staggering, but there's a lot of honesty along the way. Characters here behave like normal people, doing normal people things, and having normal people relationships. It's not just something where a spur of the moment devices are used for the sake of it; continuity exists here, as light as it is, it only helps connect to the setting and characters in a more natural and pleasing manner.
Take any character for an example. Start with Harry, just your friendly hedgehog looking to hug others, also as a means to hug his mother who has gone on some training voyage for the sake of her little boy. Harry gets friends, speaks with them and helps out with their issues, do things together. All the basic things you can think of. There's not a lot in terms of content, but it means a lot for a story of its kind. You could go on and reiterate with the other characters that exist here too, namely Peta and Garu. The former trying to transcend the penguins' flightless abilities and the latter is just a kind-hearted wolf (which doesn't mix in with the aggressive nature of wolves that exist already). They too have their own families and outgoings that feel natural. Heck, there even exists backstory to some of the characters here. This isn't just some nothing copy-paste cute story. It's one with good detail.
The art here is the same story. Basic cute art with minimal detail yet very obviously trying to encompass a cute aesthetic. It works, particularly for a simple story of its kind, there's nothing really wrong here, but I suppose this didn't get me particularly absorbed as, for example, Wonder Cat Kyuu-chan which basically took everything about its art and escalated it beyond belief. Think some kind of Super Saiyan levels equivalent of cuteness. But again, nothing bad, but nothing extraordinary.
I've praised this manga to hell and back in this review, but having read it didn't invoke any kind of hidden fire within me. It was nice to read, but that was really it. It's like one of those SoL you get every now and then that just succeeds at being cute and nothing more. That isn't to say this one is to skip. This is probably on the higher end of quality, but it simply wasn't anything masterful to me. It's unfortunate, but that is just me, I wouldn't be surprised if anyone would easily give this a 9 or 10 for that matter. It is easy to enjoy and I can see why. Alas, different people are different. It's kinda like the theme of this story lol.
Would recommend this to anyone who comes to this. You can read the entire thing in a day easily. Nothing here unworthy of anything. If nothing else, at least do it for one of Harry's hugs c:
TLDR: Not a lot of conventional substance, but these characters are true to hear and have the dedication, motivations and behaviours of normal people for them to be loveable. Looks fluffy too and it is a fast read.

(TLDR at the bottom)
This story is kinda ironic. In a world where drama and acting are supposed to feel intense and real, it is hard to even appreciate this story for that reason, because that drama present here isn't particularly good in my honest opinion.
The synopsis is there for you to understand the beginning, so I won't go over that too much other than the title also does a good job at summarising the beginning. You'd think it is a light novel-esque bait title, but respect for this title being actually coherent to the story and short to read, but that's beside the point. What
...
I want to touch upon are the themes of this manga and how they didn't really invoke anything out of me as I thought it may have.
In a manga about acting; to play roles in a way that you convey your emotion with such believable strengths, I don't know what was up with this need to have explosive plot devices determine everything about both characters. I won't get into too much detail because of spoilers, but it came across to me as a cheat method for the characters to grow or reason their means to do X and Y. This wasn't just a one-off thing. I counted three "cheated" plot devices. Two of which were "explosive", and the other one was just backstory for the other character. It also goes to show, that this dude was based around a theme of the past. It's strange. You'd think they'd have some human to them, but instead are just literally determined by past events and only that. What can I say though? I will give them credit for their acting skill though. Whilst I don't believe the support is there to make me feel anything strong about them, both Amira and Taiga have passion for sure—even if it can come across as a hack of some kind. These aren't just some half-hearted people looking to pass some subject, they are going all out to impress their respective audiences. The lead up to it is nothing short of entertaining to watch, to say the least. I like these guys in that category, and the connection between Amira and Taiga in this saga is also equally pleasing to read.
I suppose they aren't entirely bad characters per se, but rather, multiple (keyword here) melodramatic moments accompanied with a presentation of being very sincere and real didn't quite come across to me as something to take entirely seriously. It's like some unnecessary juxtaposition that didn't really need to exist; it just ruined the validity when it does. Otherwise, I get what was supposed to be presented here, and I will admit that it is good and serviceable. Something that only deserves praise (in which it already does).
The art isn't particularly phenomenal, but it is good enough to have lasting pleasant memories of, which is honestly something I didn't expect this manga would have. It's just… really clean and stylish enough to have its own personal identity attached to it. Nothing more, nothing less. I suppose on every odd occasion, the powerful scene has its artistic works elevated slightly, but that's usually just to bring out the most of what is currently visible. All in all, it's pretty good.
TLDR: A drama story that's too convenient, not that it is necessarily a problem, but it was to a point where I couldn't really take everything seriously. Otherwise great art, and even if I wasn't the biggest fan, the point came across, and that was enough for me to enjoy it (and should be for literally anyone who isn't cynical).
—————
That's really all I have to say about Boy Meets Maria. It's pretty highly acclaimed, and I can see the reason why people liked it, but I already explained why this wasn't particularly something I enjoyed. It's a little sad though, stories like these are to enjoy, and I don't really have the highest of standards, but I really only want consistency and not another experience where nothing makes sense or is outrageously annoying (ReLife former, Golden Time latter). It's sadder that the creator of this manga has actually passed away too. They seemed to be going strong with another manga after the creation of this one. A sad loss for the industry indeed. But I thank Eguchi Kousei for making Boy Meets Maria even if I wasn't the biggest fan.
It's not a long story, it can be read in like an hour or 2 and I would recommend this to BL fans too. It's not one of those rapey ones or anything disgusting like that (at least between the main two), it's actually quite wholesome, even if rough beginnings. But that's about it from me.

A silent sweet treat.
It doesn't take the longest time to consume sweets. They are confectionery for the side, but they are by no means not important. It does its job well in providing the sugar necessary for, well, sweet tastes. That's kinda like Little Little.
It's a small story, with not much to tell. It's a little like a fairy tale aided by its uncountable and exponentially growing cat girls appearing, but it all suffices and serves well. This syrupy-sweet story aims only to tell the superficial and elevated ups and downs that come with a world of its kind. The main girl has her fair

shares of relatable (even if outdated) circumstances, coupled with having a blast in life. Aside from the fact that nothing is really "in-depth" (not that that is even relevant), what's there not to like?
Little Little however never really tried being powerful. As stated before, the story "aims only to tell the superficial and elevated". I feel led to believe that with or without dialogue, we would have been met with the same feel regardless. It's a series of events, but not one that had explored the power of being mute. I suppose one could argue that it being mute was a way to enhance any and every moment, though these moments in themselves were nothing that comes across as something to leave a lasting impression. They did their job and simply moved on. It's a shame, but it may also be a case of clashing standards and preferences.
The art is like something out of a shoujo manga. There's a shameless amount of huge moe eyes, sparkles, and every cliche in the book. You name it. Ironically the demographic is seinen. Regardless, whilst nothing original with art in itself. It fits. It makes everything the way it should be, and there's no real problem with anything I saw whilst reading it. The backgrounds looked nice and the characters looked nice. My only issue with it was, well, nothing really. It just doesn't have any touch to it that would merit any more praise than just "good job".
It is really just a sweet treat. Maybe not as profound as others desserts, but it is edible to eat and go with no issue. It's fast to read and it's enjoyable. I suppose many people would love to taste the wholesomeness of this manga too, I mean, why not? Who doesn't love a bit of wholesomeness? Unfortunately, there is better out there, maybe not on a level playing field, but there is still better than can deliver. This is just a fairytale-esque work; it works, but nothing of a profound memory was born, unfortunately. I'd still recommend it though, have some no dialogue manga on your list or if you are like me looking for fast reads (or in this case "read"), this is not one to skip.
Why not have a little (little) treat?

Dying. It kinda sucks ngl. It sucked so hard mc here decided he'd go have a little scrap with death via his immortal flower idea.
The concept of immortality is something that has always intrigued me. I will go on about it a bit later, but that is not the point of this one-shot even if immortality has the element of life in it, which this manga focuses on a lot. Life. It's a funny thing, we all have one, and it is very precious stuff. I mean if I didn't have a life I wouldn't be able to love kuudere women as much as I

do now, which would totally suck.
Anyway, in the first few pages, the way life is dealt with here is a little cringe if I am honest. To not be able to understand the meaningfulness in death such that you go out of your way to spend countless nights without questioning the matter of it when working on something eternal came across as a big unrealistic cope as if someone was tone-deaf to their own surroundings. However, this all quickly changed when the motif shifted to the people rather than the flowers. You know, take care of yourself, and your life has more meaning to it when you give it meaning, being alive and living the moment for what it is is the good thing about life. This manga does a good job of saying that in a really wholesome way with the conditions of both characters and just the execution. It is a beautiful story, even with my minor criticism at the start of it, which is probably just a me thing though.
The art is really good too. Didn't think it would be as good as what I have witnessed but this is seriously something to give respect for. It probably appears more often though, I mean, thinking back on what I have read and I wouldn't be surprised if a similar quality was already witnessed by me, however, I would not be the first to say continuous interactions of something with the same quality then means that the quality decreases as you begin to see it more often. It is just very good albeit nothing new. Probably.
Anyways, I came here from the MAL Florist stack, yes, I am very late. But I came in clutch and thank God there are one-shots to read on there. Thank the heavens even more that this was a nice wholesome fast read. It makes me think about the actual huge huge ocean of manga that awaits. Maybe I will go on a one-shot reading spree one day. Only time will tell. But I can tell you that time ain't killing this immortal flower lol.
