Yes! I think you resumed what I was feeling but I couldn't express into words. My definition of "boring" for the anime is basically because of the factors you mentioned.
So I wasn't the only one. Somehow I feel relieved because I was "am I the one wrong for not liking this anime? I missed something?" haha
This is the second time I'm watching an anime involving Chinese, the first one is called.... hm.......... ah... I can't remember it's name, but it's an "isekai" anime, like Sword Art Online and etc. I didn't know To Be Heroine would have Chinese dub as well.
Indeed it lost itself after, and the change was sudden, not propitiating a proper transition. Also, I'm finding this a bit confusing (though I confess I'm using the "skip" hotkey sometimes - I do not usually do that).
Anyway..... thanks for you answer ^^ gonna watch the last episode now, but I doubt the last episode alone will be enough to change my mind ><

Im currently watching it, and just 1 episode to go. So far It's been a little bit.... boring?
