I'm a very musical guy, so if there's anime that involve music, then i'm the guy you should be suggesting them to. also i haven't seen much anime so i'm trying to get a taste of all of the styles (drama, martial arts, magic, mystery, adventure, technology, etc...) Even though i haven't seen the anime shows i've seen tons of anime movies, and i really love them!!!! ;)

Great review of Mushishi. I just finished book 1. I didn't understand the very first story, I started to understand the second, and I liked the third. If I don't over-think it, but just go with it, I like it. But sometimes it is a little too episodic.

By the way, I wonder if you remember whether there are any major reveals or developments that effect the story in volumes 6 and 7? Because my library has volumes 1-5 and 8-10 but for some reason doesn't have 6 and 7 so I was thinking I would just skip them since it does seem so episodic.

I plan on watching valley of the wind and saw your review. So i might watch it next I hope its good. I think you might like Beck the anime im not into music that much but that series was quite good
