This review may contain SPOILERS!!!
Seconds season starts off four years before the events of the first season for the first four episodes. It shows what Dazai was like in his dark past; how he went from being a part of Port Mafia to the Armed Detective Agency. The arc was really dark and sad.
After the first four episodes, it continues from where it left off with the first season which is the second arc (episode 5, 6, 7, 8 of second season). Now, there's a war going on between the gifted organizations; the Armed Detective Agency, Port Mafia, and the Guild.
Since the Guild are really
...
powerful and that they want to burn the city the two opposing team live in, both Armed Detective Agency and Port Mafia decides to team up with each other to defeat the Guild.
After the 8th episode, the third arc comes in. In this arc, the Armed Detective Agency and Port Mafia defeat the Guild and put an end to them. It focuses a lot on Atsushi and Akutagawa, showing that there is a big difference between the two but yet, they seem so similar. Their goals are relevant but, from a afar standpoint, the two seemed totally different.
Atsushi stops pitying himself at this point.
The art is the same as first season as season two was made in the same year as it is still splendid. It still has the funny expressions as well.
The sound quality is still great. The opening soundtrack is pretty good and is a lot better than the first.
A few more interesting characters with cool abilities were introduced in this season and some of the previous ones received some more backstory to them. Dazai, Lucy, and Mori were some of those who had their backstory shown, especially Dazai's. These characters' expressions are still funny as ever.
The only thing that I did not like for character design was Francis' ability, The Great Fitzgerald, to spend money for power and then when he runs out, he becomes weak which I find really stupid. His motive for burning down an entire city is pretty stupid as well.
Side note: A theory of mine but each gifted organization has at least an orphan on their side, this makes me assume that the anime's title is based on this. There were also orphans that were being taken care of by Dazai's friend in the first arc of this season.
Second season was really enjoyable. All three arcs had a great story. The first was interesting and it also left me in tears at certain scenes. The second was pretty exciting, seeing what each organization comes up for a plan to protect themselves and to oppose others. The third left me in awe with it's turn of events and epic battles, especially the last one.
Overall, this gets a 9/10 and a MUST watch for those who have seen the first season!

This is my first anime movie review. I generally don't watch anime movies but this movie trailer looked interesting so I decided to watch it. I watched this last Friday night. This is my first Makoto Shinkai movie I have ever seen. I decided to review this because I wanted to express how amazing this movie really is. I do not spoil much or at all in this review as I want others to see how great this movie really is.
This masterpiece of a movie is truly amazing in every aspect from start to finish.
The story is about Mitsuha and Taki, who switch bodies at
...
random times, and are trying to figure out why this is happening, as well as adapting to the lives of each other by learning how each other live. They are aware of what is going on so they make rules on what they can and can not do and post them on their phones.
The art is amazing. Great animation, visuals, and design for each character. The colour scheme of the comet is one of the most beautiful thing I have seen in anime.
The audio and soundtrack/background music are amazing. It makes the movie more immersive. Every sound matches the setting of that scene perfectly.
The characters in this movie are superb. I love every single character of this movie from their design to development; how their relationship with each other change from beginning to end.
This movie overflowed me with enjoyment. My emotions were like a rollercoaster. Certain scenes in this movie left me in either awe or tears. I kept wanting to see what was going to happen next and how the main characters end up meeting each other. I also loved learning the culture of the rural area, how things are connected/tied together by Musubi (Japanese god).
Overall, I give this a 10/10. This movie is a MUST watch.
Everything about the movie was great. I don't think their could be anything else that could be improved (of course there's always something).
Thank you Makoto Shinkai for this wonderful experience of a movie.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!
...
Dragons are usually viewed as ferocious, big, and scary lizard-like beings with wings.
Not in this anime. While they're still ferocious, they are also cute and playful in this anime. The dragons in this anime can turn into humans so that they can blend in.
There is not much of a story. It's just random events that happen in each episode. But it is those random events the build up the relationship between Kobayashi and the dragons that she encounters, especially Tohru (a green dragon). The story was about Kobayashi, a programmer, that was drunk one night, met Tohru in the mountains, Tohru was injured with a big sword in her back and she saved Tohru by pulling that sword out of Tohru's back (how does Kobayashi have that much strength?!), they then bonded over drinks realizing they were both lonely, and letting Tohru stay with her at her place as a maid. As the story progress, more dragons (Tohru's friends) come into Kobayashi's life.
I love this art and it's authenticity. The art style looks calm, clean, and more "fresh" than any other anime. What I mean by "fresh" is that in some sceneries, the apartment for example, looks like it was drawn without converting it into the style used in most anime.
The sound is great. There's nothing to complain here. The opening song is pretty catchy.
Characters in this anime are really unique:
Kobayashi: A female programmer (I'm a programmer too!) who works in an office and works hard. She is kind and gets wild while drunk (she drinks a lot). She has a huge fascination with maids. She is kind of a slob as she leaves her clothes laying around. She was living by herself before meeting Tohru. She shows her feelings for Tohru when facing Tohru's father.
Tohru: A female dragon who moved to Earth, becomes Kobayashi's maid, and learns Earth's customs, what's right and wrong. She is a part Chaos faction from her world. She is commonly mistaken for a cosplayer in the human world. After meeting Kobayashi, she has a crush on her.
Kanna: A female dragon and a friend of Tohru who moved to Earth because she got exiled from her world for being a prankster. Reason why she was pranking other dragons was she wanted her parents to notice her.
She can't go back to her world due to not having enough magic. She also grew fond of Kobayashi and thinks of Kobayashi as her mother.
Elma: A female water dragon who is a part of the Order faction which is rivaled with the Chaos faction. She came to Earth and tried to get Tohru back to their world. When trying to bring Tohru back, she decided to battle Tohru which Tohru tricked into going to the place that Kanna and Tohru played, and then closing the portal. When she got back, she was unable to go back to her world so she worked with Kobayashi. She is often swayed by food.
Quetzalcoatl: A dragon ex-goddess that's one of Tohru's friend. She lost her status due to being drunk and sleeping with her sister. She came to Earth because she was curious about Tohru and how she was doing. Hey nickname is Lucoa.
Fafnir: A male dragon who's another friend of Tohru. He distrusted humans until he met Kobayashi's friend a co-worker, Makoto Takiya, who introduced him to video games. He's a shut-in in both his world and Earth. He has an aloof attitude.
Riko Saikawa: A friend of Kanna from her primary school. When she first met Kanna, she was jealous of how popular Kanna was when Kanna first started school. Kanna then became friends with her and they became closer. Every time she makes physical contact with Kanna, she gets overly excited (What's wrong with her?! She's just a little girl!).
I enjoyed this anime a lot. I loved the catchy opening, all the characters, and the art style and animation of this anime.
Overall, this gets a 9/10.
This is a MUST watch! Even if the story is alright.

SPOILERS DOWN BELOW!!! Well, it shouldn't be a spoiler by now as many have already seen it.
I've watched this during summer of 2016 but decided to review it now.
This story is about teenagers who are awaken in Afterlife (a limbo-like place) where there's high school after death because they haven't fulfilled their goal during their time living.
The reason why Yuri believes Tenshi is evil is because she thought Tenshi was an NPC but in reality, she's actually hard to understand and lacks emotions, and creates her own power, that's why she seems like an NPC.
Some of these characters have tragic pasts which gave me a
...
bit of tears while others have pasts that's not as bad.
As the story progress, Otonashi regains his memory. At a certain part in the story where Naoi accepts Yuri's request to hypnotise Otonashi to regain his memory. He regained a part of the memory but not all of it. After Otonashi, Kanade (Tenshi), and the other teenagers fight against Kanade's aggressive clones and having the clones go back to Kanade painfully, Kanade was sent to the school's infirmary. While Otonashi was waiting for Kanade to wake up, he fell asleep and gained more memory about his past. At the end of his memory before his death from the accident, he signed the life insurance card that allows him to donate his organs. Everyone in that same incident followed what he did. This part was an important part of the story as it not only explains Otonashi's past but it also tells why Kanade is there in the afterlife as well.
Later, Otanashi and Kanade help others fulfill their goal so they could get out of Afterlife which was one of Kanade's goal.
After graduation, most of the characters have fulfilled their goal and moved on, and Otonashi and Kanade are left.
While confessing his love for Kanade, he begs Kanade to stay in Afterlife with him to guide others who have wandered in Afterlife and founds out that Kanade has the heart he donated. She then reveals that the true reason why she's in Afterlife is because she wanted to thank the person who extended her life. After thanking him, she disappeared leaving Otonashi in tears. This part also left me in tears.
He then disappears as well.
Some of the art style is similar to other anime but the rest have really nice visuals and colours.
The sound quality of the anime is great. I love the opening a lot too.
Each character is this anime is unique.
Yuzuru Otonashi: A guy who, when he was in middle school, he didn't have any certain goal and took care of his sick sister. Later down the line, his sister died and he realized that his goal was to help people like his sister so he graduated from high school but on his way to the entrance exam, there was a train accident and he died few days after.
Kanade Tachibana: There's not much for her past. All she wanted was to thank Otonashi but wasn't able to. Her personality is complex. She lacks emotion and is hard to understand. She's like this because of the rules of the limbo world. She's the president of the student council and she gets her power from Angel Player.
Yuri Nakamura: The oldest out of her four siblings. Her siblings died from an armed robbery, and she tried what she could to protect them. It's unclear to me on how she died and why she was in Afterlife. She was leader of the SSS. She's very smart and decisive when planning operations. She was the one who recruited Otonasi to the SSS after he awakened into the limbo world. She's pretty random at times too.
Hideki Hinata: A guy in a baseball team in the past. In an important match, he missed the fly ball during the game and ended up losing. To cope with the depression he had, he took drugs from his seniors. Before he came to Afterlife, he remembered being in a car accident but there's no evidence to whether those two are tied to it or not. He was the co-founder of SSS. He's like the laughing stock of this anime as he keeps messing up and failing or be the one to be propelled to the ceiling in one of Yuri's plan.
There are more characters to cover them all. TK is one of my favourites as the way he speaks English sounds cool and funny at the same time.
I enjoyed this anime a lot. There are a lot of scenes which made me laugh/chuckle and a few that made me cry. This anime is somewhat like a roller coaster as my feelings go up and down at certain points.
Overall, I give this a 9/10.
This is a MUST watch!

I've watched a few episodes back in 2016 of summer, dropped it for a few months, then picked it up again recently. The reason why I dropped it was because I got bored of the story at some point. I picked it up again because I couldn't think of anything else to watch.
If you like Psycho Pass, then I would recommend you watch this as it's somewhat similar.
SPOILERS DOWN BELLOW!!!!!!!!
This story is about an orphan named Atsushi Nakajima, who was kicked out of his orphanage for having the ability to turn into a were-tiger. Atsushi has thought he was kicked out for no reason and
...
that the were-tiger was following him at first but figured out that he was unconsciously the were-tiger the whole time and has killed some people while being the were-tiger. The killing he has done caused him to have a bounty of 7 billion yen on him which the Port Mafia are trying to catch. The Guild, an American organization is the one that placed a bounty on him.
Both the Armed Detective Agency and The Guild consists of those with supernatural abilities.
After being found by Dazai and Kunikida from the Armed Detective Agency, they have fed him and made him join the agency. If he declined, he would have been turned to the police.
After joining the agency, Atsushi helps solve crimes within his city.
As the story progresses, Atsushi learns how to control his ability and uses it to his advantage.
The art style of this anime is similar to other anime except for the expression. The art style of the expressions are funny.
The sound quality is great. Nothing to complain about here.
The characters in this anime are unique.
Atsushi Nakajima: An orphan kicked out of the orphanage for possessing the ability of the were-tiger and now a part of the Armed Detective Agency.
Ability: Beast Beneath the Moon
Osamu Dazai: A suicidal enthusiast who fails at every attempt of suicide and dreams of having a double suicide. He's a member of the Armed Detective Agency and former Executive of the Port Mafia.
Ability: No Longer Human
Doppo Kunikida: A man who keeps note of everything he does and his ideals, and follows them. Another member of the Armed Detective Agency.
Ability: Lone Poet
Ryuunosuke Akutagawa: A member of Port Mafia who used to work under Daizai when Dazai worked for the Port Mafia. He hates Dazai for pushing him to his limits and threatening to kill him when he was younger. Akutagawa is the jealous type as he also hates Atsushi and Oda because Dazai sees more potential in them than Akutagawa.
Ability: Rashomon
There are many characters so I can't cover them all.
I enjoyed watching this anime. I love the expressions on the characters when something funny happens. The abilities in this anime are really cool. The story was alright at first but got a lot better later on.
My overall score is an 8/10.

One of the best anime of winter 2017. SPOILERS BELOW!
The story is about a salaryman who gets reincarnated into a loli named, Tanya Degurechaff, after being killed by an ex-employee that he recently fired, and meeting a being who claims to be God but Tanya calls him, "Being X". The reason for being reincarnated like this was because the salaryman was atheist and had a lack of faith towards the employee he fired.
The era Tanya was born was in an alternative timeline of WWI where magic exists. She was born with outstanding magic capabilities and was recruited for the Imperial army and behaves like no
...
other heroine.
As the story progress, Tanya starts to believe in Being X as he helps her defeat her enemies by giving her more power. There were times where Being X would mock her as well.
The art quality is unique compared to every other anime I've seen.
The sound quality in this anime is amazing. The opening, Jingo Jungle, by one of my favourite bands, Myth & Roid; the ones that did the second opening song for Re:Zero, is great.
The characters in this anime are unique with a few generic like some of soldiers.
Main:
Tanya Degurechaff: A former salaryman who was reincarnated as an intelligent loli that's a jerk and becomes a soldier. She ranked up to Major quickly.
Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakova: An second lieutenant who's optimistic, friendly, and carefree soldier. She works right under Tanya.
Supporting:
Adelheid von Schugel: A mad scientist! (my Okarin reference) who was a former atheist and his experiments in weapons didn't work well with Tanya until Being X made him believe in him.
Erich von Rerugen: Vice Director of Strategy and Operation. He's very passionate, sensible, and sincere about his country. He was also against Tanya's promotion and has a complicated relationship with Tanya.
Hans von Zettour: A Brigadier General in the Imperial army. His believes and mindset are outstanding. He's like the brains behind the Empire's success.
Kurt von Rudersdorf: Another Brigadier General in the Imperial army. He is always seen smoking a cigar.
Both Hans and Kurt are friends as they went to the same War College.
Weiss Matheus Johann: The vice captain of the Tanya's 203rd Aerial Mage Wing, and the captain of the Tanya's 2nd Aerial Mage Squadron that belongs to the 203rd.
Being X: Some invisible being that claims to be God.
I enjoyed this anime a lot. I love the fights and characters in this anime. My favourite part was when Degurechaff pretends to talk like a playful little girl when communicating over radio to the workers of the Dakia factory then starts an attack on the factory while the workers are laughing. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much is the story as it can be confusing at times.
Overall, I give this a 8/10.
This is a MUST watch!

Spoilers down below!!!!
I've watched this back in the summer of 2016 but decided to do the review now since I created an account recently.
So this anime is about a shut-in NEET (pretty generic character) named Subaru who was pulled into another world in the kingdom of Lugnica.
When searching for the insignia, Subaru and Satella (Emilia) get brutally killed by Elsa Granhiert (aka the Bowel Hunter). This is when Subaru discovers his power called, Return by Death, which takes him back to a certain point (kinda like a checkpoint in games) but he doesn't know exactly when the point changes. It took Subaru a few tries
...
before he was able to defeat Elsa. He was able to defeat her with a guy named Reinhard, one of Royal Guards and a Sword Saint.
As the story progresses, Subaru uses his power to fix the mistakes (that causes him death) that he has done to move on. He also gains the trust of others like Emelia, Rem, Ram, and Roswaal by fixing those mistakes.
There are more to the story which I don't want to spoil any further.
The art style is like any other anime. 9/10
The sound is great, everything sounded great. Especially the opening. 10/10
The characters in this anime are very unique. 10/10
Subaru is pretty useless as he keeps messing up and usually depends on others for help. He thought others would know what he has gone through every time he goes through Return by Death.
Emilia is nice but when she's annoyed (when Subaru doesn't listen), she lets all of her anger out.
Rem is best girl! Seriously though she's from the Demon clan and only has 1 horn (due to being twins with Ram) and is one of Roswaal's maid. She has one of the best character development in anime history. She goes from a girl who undermines herself and puts her sister on top to a girl who's very confident.
Ram, Rem's older twin, and had the other horn and is Roswaal's other maid. She was stronger than Rem when she had her horn but lost it due to the Witch Cult attacking her and Rem's village. She is a bit more outgoing than Rem. Also, Ram calls Subaru, Barusu. (^▽^)
Puck, a spirit that stays by Emilia's side and helps her out. He usually goofs around, especially with Subaru and Beatrice.
Beatrice is a loli (400 years old though) and is a librarian of the Roswaal mansion. She usually looks down on others and protected Subaru from getting killed my Rem by getting rid of some of the witch's scent.
There are many more characters which I cannot cover all.
This anime is the type of anime that leaves you speechless at the end of each episode (both good and bad) and plays with your heart. 10/10
This anime has one of the most terrifying scenes in anime where Rem gets tortured and hanged like a puppet (not really hanged but looks like it while levitating) and then having her arms, legs, and head twisted by the Witches cult, Betelgeuse.
Overall, this anime is great and I enjoyed each episode from beginning to end.
The only reason I gave this a 9/10 is because Subaru should have gone for Rem instead of Emilia.

SPOILERS DOWN BELOW!!!
This is my first anime review. I’ve seen many others but decided to review this one because it somewhat relates to me. Like Masamune, I was bullied a lot when I was younger because I was fat. Like him, I also worry about foods with high calories. Other than that, there is nothing else relatable as I didn't try or want to get revenge on those who bullied me. I also didn't want to have a build like his.
Anyway, on to the story. It's about I guy who used to be fat and bullied when he was younger and was called "Pigs Foot"
...
from Aki when he asked her out even though she told hm him to be stronger. As time went by, his grandfather trained him to lose weight. Later on, he also built muscles.
He then transfers to a school where every girl flirts with him. He figured that Aki goes to the same school and plans to get revenge by rejecting her after getting her to love him. As the story went on, Masasume keeps getting close to his goal but his plans keep getting messed up. Masamune never got his revenge.
Overall, I liked anime because there are several scenes that made me laugh/chuckle, and its characters are unique.
