Do you like Isekai Anime?
Even the more trashy ones?
Then fear not... this Anime is more a slice of life Anime with all that sad romance love triangle stuff.
Nothing wrong with that, but then don't try to sell it of as an Isekai.
If I knew beforehand, what this was, I wouldn't have watched it.
I think overpowerdness just works in a Fantasy World, but not in our own - at least not that way it is portrayed here.
The actual only fun in this Anime is the slice of life aspect, because Isekai wise, nothing much is happening and the romance stuff just feels dumb and to cliche.
Why
...
create an Fantasy Anime, if you don't use at least the Fantasy cliches, but instead use the 'normal world' stuff, like model girl, school director daughter, teacher and so on...
One big downer in this Anime is the Art.
Really, the guys are okay, but the girls look so incredibly creepy.
I guess they tried to make them look like perfect ideals, but honestly they seem like lifeless creepy dolls, that will come up with a knife next scene to stab you to death.
And always these glowing eyes and fake lipstick - have I mentioned already, that they do look creepy?
Also there are some very weird and creepy characters, like that speaking rabbit, but he is one of the good guys?
I think most of the stuff here would fit an horror Anime or some Alice in Wonderland drug drip much more, than whatever they where trying to do...
Also I am not sure of the world, sometimes Scenes look bright and way to perfect and then it is all dark or looks low effort.
I don't like the setting and neither the grapics.
At least the opening is quite good, but that is it.
Even most bad isekai where somewhere enjoable, but I found myself groaning more and more over everything in this Anime.
It started okay, but grew worse over time.
I just have finished episode 8 and I consider dropping.
If you like Isekai and Slice of Life Romance stuff, you might want to give it a try, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

I... don't know what to say.
I personally didn't liked the 2nd part of Season 1, but I am so glad, that I have continued watching.
While it contains some of the Isekai-Anime cliches, it still not not the typical Isekai.
I still like the world, it has Anime fantasy elements, but especially the winter part in the first half reminded me of Elder Scrolls like fantasy.
What me surprised most was, how the Anime was able to actually made me feel stuff.
Normally I just watch shows and enjoy them, maybe get a bit of a pumping heart or goosebumps at a action scene rarely.
But this Anime managed to
...
make me actually feel some kind of pain for 70% of the time, be it on happy or on sad scenes.
And it was an emotional joyride.
Normally in a Anime you know, that things gonna turn good in the end and that battles are more or less meaningless.
And even if someone dies, it does not feel so important.
But this world and the pain of the characters is so believable, it actually hurts.
Also because you know, things only get better, so that they can get worse again.
I have been fooled once, but I will not be fooled twice and now that fear is lingering in the back of my subconscious the whole time.
It really says something about an Anime, if I manage to actually watch 25 Episodes of it in one day, without much breaks.
Without big annoying cliffhangers, I still had to continue watching the whole time.
Quality might not be at its maximum, as it was back then, but Animation, Music, Art etc. are still really good.

I don't know, how I should feel about this Anime, because whatever perspective I look on it, it always has good and bad parts.
This Anime is part of the Otome-Game-Isekai subgenre and I am not really the target audience, but I also don't really get what the main target of this show is meant to be.
For girls that like girly stuff and romance, there is not really much girly stuff and the romance shown.
Some characters, in theory, love each other at least, but they just say and don't show it.
They don't seem to feel anything and are not able to transport the feelings very well.
Problem
...
here is also the lack of expression form the main character.
And for girls that like Isekai and Fantasy Anime with battling, this Anime has a bit more combat and Fantasy stuff than some of the other Otome-Isekai, but if I where a girl I probably rater watch an real Fantasy Anime or an real Romance Anime.
I think the story is okay, but the Anime has different flaws.
Already talked about the lack of shown feelings, but also the music, animation and other is just average.
Nice to watch, but nothing special.
Also it has CGI Animations in them again and these still don't look good.
Also I found the ending a bit annoying, because it is misleading.
It probably was meant to be a representation of Eleanoras dreams or something, but nothing of it happened in the Anime.
I was expecting at least some more 'girl time' between Eleanora and Yumiella, but except for talking they did nothing.
If this is how friendship works, I do some things wrong.
Compared to other of the Otome-Game-Isekai Anime, this one was a bit better, but compared to other Anime in general, this one was nothing really remarkable.
It is nice, if you are tired/exhausted and don't have any expectations for now, but if you want to enjoy your time with a good Anime there are probably hundreds more, that fit better.
If you really want to watch an Isekai or Otome-Game-Isekai you can watch this one as-well, but if you just want to watch an Anime, you might want to look for something better.

We all know, that objective speaking most Isekai are not that good, since they repeat the same stereotypes and story types over and over.
But we are here despite this, since we can still enjoy them, so that is what I will base my reviews on.
This Isekai is one, that I have enjoyed a lot.
First I was worried, that this will just be an clone of Sword Art Online, but it was only in the first 20 seconds, to set the setting and after this, the Anime was quite nice.
It is one of that Isekai, that I could have watched in one go and I wished
...
it would contiue further than just 12 Episodes, but that is just how it is always.
The Anime was not that remarkable in terms of story, art, music and so on, but still quite enjoyable, probably a good to go one for every Iseaki fan.
A big Minus is the missing budget or time in the last 2 Episodes.
That is really an insolence.
In some scenes the faces of the characters looked like they where drawn by and child.
Maybe something like 'bring your child to work day and let them participate in the Anime production?'
I think they invested a bit to much in other scenes and put it there, where they thought, no one would notice.
Very sad.
Why not give a bit more money or time?
So this is why I rated it one Star worse, than I would have otherwise.
Rest of the Anime was quite nice.

I honestly don't know, what to do with that Anime.
There where scenes that where really great, there where scenes, that where not so good, interesting, boring, puzzling, very important, unnecessary, a lot of mixed stuff but unequally distributed.
Overall the show was really god, but there where a lot of smaller flaws that made me struggle to rate the Anime between 7 and 10.
It is not a old Mobile Suit Gundam or Legend of Galactic Heroes, but it is close to be one.
First of all: The staging of the show was overall great:
- Epic Music, that sticks.
- Epic Battle scenes, that are actually meaningful and where
...
you feel with the characters, because you are invested in them.
- And some emotional rides, filled with love, hate, despair etc.
You really could feel with the characters.
The show also manages to display the relationship between alien nations, that don't understand each other, but want to, very well.
And in the end nothing has feeled, like it was there just to happen or drive the plot.
Everything made sense and was logical in therms of behavior of characters or how the story developed.
But I have some issues with the Anime:
- The first part is just that classical journey, you know from the previous season and it got boring after a while.
The second part was much more interesting, especially when the stakes where raised and the evil came closer.
- Sometimes there where to much Alien characters and races and it was hard to follow, how they are connected and why they are, how they are.
It made more sense in the end, but the situations in between where sometimes explained not good enough.
You just get puzzeled over their names and history.
Also since they all have sub-groups with own goals and organisation structure.
- And I had some issues with the storytelling at some points.
There where scenes, where the characters where talking to much and especially to much nonsense.
In particular the monologues of the hero or the evil enemy where a bit to much sometimes, since they still talked although they had made their point already.
And while the animation quality was high class during the battles, the animation during monologues was quite bad.
Mostly just a static image, with 2 or 3 looped frames of mouth or eye movement.
- It would be good to cut out some scenes and therefor take a bit more time for some of the romantic relationships.
The Anime was sometimes focused to much on the main goal and battle.
Give the characters more room to breath. You know why some characters have fallen in love with each other, but the fun, happy scenes (beach, shoppingcenter or whatever you could imagine), where they actually come closer and had a meaningfull time where missing.
Do you really develop a relationship, by just working on a bridge the whole day or by flying next to each other on you own fighter plane?
In the end the show was well rounded, but could use some more equal distribution of polishing.
Some stuff seemed to perfectly flashed out, in the cost for the other ones.
And while most Anime want to work with some key scenes, that stuck, I want to rate the whole experience.
It is cool to bring back some interesting characters and concepts for the finally, like the space submarines, but keep an eye on the rest as well.

(Doesn't contain story spoilers, but could contain some information about stuff, like how a story should be written and what to expect. If you really want to be surprised by every little aspect, because you don't know anything about story writing, then you probably don't want to read that review.)
That Iseaki is a genre with not the best quality Anime, specially in terms of story, is a thing everyone probably knows.
So, if you are here, you are okay with that anyway.
I am a Iseaki enjoyer myself and have liked some stuff 'normal' Anime fans probably wouldn't like.
But this Anime was not good, even subjectively speaking.
First
...
of there is just the problem most newer Anime have these days.
They are put out as mass entertainment on low budget and without much love.
Even every Isekai a few years ago was able to do a better job despite being relatively low quality.
This Anime is nothing special in terms of music, of voice acting, animation and so on, it contains of very low base level for almost everything, and nothing really sticks in the end.
So that out of the way, I am mostly going to talk about the story and characters now:
This anime is also just missing a lot of stuff, that makes a good (Isekai) Anime.
- I cannot identify with the main character, since he has no real personality and no goals or interests.
- I cannot enjoy the story and his hero journey, because it is just explained in a boring way - this would work as a short training arc in an shounen Anime, but not as a 13 Episode Anime.
- The few scenes with action, that could have become interesting aren't.
There are some typical battle scenes but they don't work well, since the MC isn't build for battling, but has other qualities.
- Stories of other characters are more interesting, than the main character and I just have the feeling, he and his companions form japan are just there, to tell a story that wouldn't have needed them.
- And some typical Isekai stuff is missing: No hero that gets overpowered and therefore gets a lot of fame, items, a mansion, a harem or whatever makes his journey more rewarding or wants you to imagine yourself as the main character.
Also there is no real harem here, there are some characters where it is hinted, that something could develop, but if it does, then in a few seasons, but not now.
And finally a lot of characters are to boring or not my type at all.
Suzune Ikunami is a completely flat character, that could work in a poor tragic dating Anime, but not in a fantasy Isekai.
Most of the time she was just annoying and in the end she hasn't contributed anything, the story could have worked without her as well.
Also the character names didn't stick at all, after 13 Episodes, I only could remember Rose, since she was some kind of secret main character.
Yes, in theory the Anime follows the main writing principles, a character has to grow stronger, he has some strength that work good against enemy weaknesses and so on.
But all of this is done in such a flat, boring and blunt way, that I just couldn't feel anything while watching.
Feelings like love, hate, dread and so on, are there but not really on a emotional level.
The Anime is not good, if you develop a own story in this world by yourself that easily is more interesting, than the actual show.

Well, at some points, this is very trashy, but I think it was planned that way.
Every of the 3 Episodes just takes 8 to 10 Minutes, so even if it isn't something incredibly great, you should find time to watch this, if you like Gundam and watched the first 3 shows (Gundam, Zeta Gundam and Gundam ZZ) and the Movie 'Chars Counterattack'.
While the first episode was just a weird mix up of different scenarios and characters, the 2nd and 3rd episode had something like a "story line".
I really liked the 2nd one with the Zeon Hotel.
This show manages to feature many characters and insider-jokes in
...
just a short time, so at this point the producers did a pretty good job, even if the rest is relatively average.
Still, I enjoyed that show, so give it a try.

At first lets say I haven't played the game, so I don't know much about it and can only imagine what the game is about (the Anime gives a good overview though).I don't expect much from Anime, which are made to promote games, but this one is even more bad than Azur Lane.
There is not much story, or even much something, if you get what I am saying...
Every episode is just around 3 minutes long, has an intro and an outro and often also is split into 2 or 3 clips.
So there is not much space for any character development, interesting story telling or great
...
animation.
It had potential and the animation and graphics at the first few episodes were quite nice, but soon they got more and worse. It looks like, they don't have much budget or time anymore.
I liked some ideas or situations of some clips or some credit scenes, but there was to much boring, poorly made or unimportant stuff between.
The Series is split into two parts with always 12 Episodes, featuring different groups of girls.
The first halve was Japanese, the second one Chinese language.
The first halve was okay with the little episodes where at least some of them were built on top of each other, but the second one was just some random clips where nearly everything could have happened to every Anime character, I don't think you need the ones from the game for this.
And the last episodes just felt like a tutorial for the game mechanics.
I think no one needs this, everyone watching the anime for the game, would already know the mechanics and everyone else doesn't need this episode at all either.
So the Japanese part was at least trying to be good, but the secound halve dragged down my rating for this show.
I think it would have been better without it.

At first it is to say, this is a Chinese Anime, so it is a bit different, from most of the common Japanese Anime you already know.
But don't get me wrong, there isn't anything bad about that, the Anime doesn't look different (at least not that much) and the speaking/subtitles are at normal speed.
That is good, because on some other Chinese Anime, the speaking and subtitles were way too fast.
Good, that the producers of this one though about audience, from different countries (the series also has a Japanese subtitles).
I felt really refreshed, about the difference, from 100% normal Anime, instead it reminded me of
...
some good cartoons, I watched in my childhood (but it doesn't have a cartoon or Shounen style) and this was a nice feeling.
The Anime might look like the fantasy genre, but it also contains science-fiction elements as well. The intro song is nice, the graphic quality and art is okay, the sound is good, the characters were interesting and only a bit stereotypical (not as much as in other Anime).
I have to say, this Anime is worth watching and I encourage you to do that too.
I hope for a 2nd season.

I don't recommend watching these 'movies', but I don't recommend against it either...
The first one was very boring in my opinion.
The few actions-like scenes weren't really interesting and exciting and unfortunatly, there was to much unnecessary scenes.
The whole story of the first movie, could have been packed in a single Anime episode, and could have been told a much better way.
The second one was a bit better, and the story was a bit more interesting, with a better battle scene and a little bit deeper insight in at least two characters, but that was it.
Except the two characters in the 2nd movie, the characters weren't
...
very deep, they could have been replaced by someone entire else and it wouldn't really matter.
The art and the music weren't any better.
At the end, I wasn't really worth my time.
It was not bad in particular, but I think, this anime will not stay in my memory, next to all the others I'v already have seen.
Therefor it was to arbitrarily.
