Short anime are not everyone's cup of tea. It's doubtful many people will even stumble across this 2 ep OVA since it is so old. But since both reviews are old and negative/mixed, here is an alternative perspective.

It's rare to see an anime's review section so filled with hatred, anger, and vitriol. Top reviews raging and cursing and bemoaning the anime. I don't normally bother with reviews but in this case I shall present a differing viewpoint.

Kamisama ni Natta Hi requires foreknowledge, and a choice before watching. Jun Maeda is the creator, he of all the Key visual novels and anime. I had Iriya no Sora on my list for a long time. Having greatly enjoyed HanTsuki, six episodes isn't a flaw to me, so I was looking forward to it. What I found was an interesting anime to analyze, one that's deeply flawed yet touching.

Story 6: The story is jumbled towards the beginning. The scene is never truly set, characters react to extreme events and statements far more matter of factly than if it were set in modern time.
