Glossing over the other review, I understand the mix feelings about this adaptation.

The animation style could have been better and use of color somewhat kills some creepiness that the original manga gave. I was initially disappointed in the first few episodes of this adaptation, where I was not necessarily feeling scared or creeped out, but rather just laughing and cringing at the scenes.

I think if you are still a fan of Ito Junji's work you should give this adaptation a try as the later episodes encompass the original manga's vibe much better.

Overall while not perfect I do not think this is as ...

One Line Review: Your eyes will climax, while leaving you feeling unsatisfied with the plot.

One of the most eye-gasmic animations, highly recommend if you enjoy good fights (which can be rather violent). The art style really fits the story and the theme of the whole show, in addition the character designs were all relatively nice.

Some downsides are that the story definitely will feel rushed and somewhat predictable.

Also a lot of people praised the soundtrack, but to me it felt a little bit above mid. The main theme songs were nice, but unlike some other shows which really incorporate music or sound effects within ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (15/25 eps)
Short review,

I'm not sure how this show got so popular with its poor storytelling and average characters.

The story is so forced to move along a linear path and certain decisions that the NPCs and the hero makes is so forced. String of inexplicable events that happen in the show really take you out of the story and sometimes even frustrate the viewing experience.

The show definitely had its cool moments and showed its potential, but those moments were soon ruined by the scenes succeeding it. I wish they focused more on its unique trait of having a protagonist who only excels in defense ...

Demon Slayer was definitely a genre defining show.
There were countless previous attempts on creating a different version of shounen genre and this show is as enjoyable as other greats (HxH and FMA).

Demon slayer has amazing animation, story, and build up but what really surprised me was its cinematography. In the main arc of this season, there were numerous fight scenes where clever use of camera and transitions got me super engaged in the moment.

Characters in first season were nothing spectacular, but it seems like the show will introduce most of its cast in the upcoming seasons and I am excited ...

In classic JoJo fashion, this season does not disappoint! Watching this season makes time disappear!

As expected, the first few episodes are lackluster as every new season has to introduce a whole new sets of character, story, and music. Once the world is built up after ~10 episodes, the usual JoJo magic happens.

Season 5 was personally one of my most anticipated seasons as the manga version of this season was famous for not being clear on stand powers/translations. The visual explanation of stand powers/effects gives viewers a clear visualization of how each mechanics work.

Art-style is amazing as usual, with funky clothes and quirky colors ...

This is a type of a show I would recommend anyone. It doesn't have nudity, minimal violence (even though many scenes imply malevolence), with thrilling moments all throughout the anime.

I was mostly on the edge of my seat throughout the whole anime because it was very intense, however it was missing that small oomf. I feel like the story in general is very biased towards the 'good' characters. I wish the director/mangaka had explored more plot options while creating this first arc of the story. Nevertherless, the anime in whole was enjoyable and it would be a big mistake to miss out on this ...

Honestly this season is not as bad as what people make it out to be.

Sure it has its amazing counter-part in season 1, however the whole show's adaption from its source material stays accurate.

I really enjoyed the character development of numerous other heroes than Saitama, as season 1 was mainly focused on him. The story in general is an improvement from the previous season.

However, we cannot overlook the fact that, if the animation studio and staff stayed the same we would be enjoying this anime a whole lot more. Each episode, each fight scene there's always a thought in my head wishing we had ...

Megalo Box (Anime) add
Just a warning, if you watch this show expecting Ippo, please turn back right now. Even though these two shows are both mainly about boxing, their focus of plot is totally different in how they handle their characters and story.

When I first watched this I was also expecting Ippo type of fights as I heard a lot of hype about this show, even though the show had ok-ish fights it was never anything out of the ordinary that got my blood pumping nor did it give a rush of adrenaline. Fights are more slow paced and they use it to tell a story rather ...

Hinamatsuri (Anime) add
Hinamatsuri, or what other people call it anzumatsuri. This show was definitely a welcome surprise to me. It's a show that doesn't necessarily do anything out of the ordinary, but does it well. It has nice quirky jokes hear and there and its a real feel-good anime. If you do watch this, I can guarantee you will have that creepy smile on your face all the way through. It's jokes are very innocent and wholesome.

I didn't think there were any stand out character designs or music in the show, but they all played a part in the anime. I hope for season 2, they ...

Gonna write a short one of how I felt.

Houseki no Kuni was definitely a different type of anime that was well done and played to its 3D-animation strengths.
Unlike most of Japanese 3D animation, these guys seemed to understand how to use it to its full potential, and a story about gem warriors fighting was the perfect topic that only 3D could pull off.

The fight scenes in this is one of the best I have ever seen, how they create atmosphere, use of camera angles, and the use of animation was amazing.

The characters themselves were pretty average, nothing out of the world (innocent ...
