"What could equal the value of a human soul?"
Fullmetal Alchemist asks this question, and does not give a definite answer. Many different characters put different values on a human soul, yet none of them have the correct value. When our protagonists, Edward and Alphonse Elric attempt to put a value on a human soul through alchemy, it causes the Edward to lose his arm and leg, and Alphonse to lose his entire body, they must set out on a journey to restore their bodies, unknowing on how they can accomplish such a feat.
