Deaimon is a really wholesome and easygoing anime. It's probably one of the best Iyashikei's I've seen. (Even tho it's not tagged to be one on MAL). Since it's one of the lesser known but great anime of spring 2022, I thought of making a review on it.
Here it goes:-
Story:
The storyline is pretty simple and easy to understand. Being mainly based around a wagashi store (Japanese sweet shop) called "Ryokushou", story revolves around the members of it.
"Nagomu", the shop owner's son who went to Tokyo to follow his career decides to come back and help at the store. He later finds out that they
...
have adopted a little girl named "Itsuka" and is asked to be a father figure to her. The plot progresses depending upon the events occurring in Ryokushou store.
Characters:
Characters in Deaimon are very likeable. They are conveyed in a great way. Tho Nagomu and Itsuka are focused more often since they are the main leads. Interactions among them are one of the best things about this anime. They are really fun and wholesome to watch.
Artstyle & Animation:
Artstyle is decent. As for the animation, it's really clean. One thing I'd like to mention is that the way they showed the wagashi making process was really good. It was depicting all the things which are done in making actual sweets in real life. Another good thing was that they also share some factual knowledge about it time to time.
Sound:
All of the OSTs, opening and ending fit so well with everything. The ending is sure one of my favourite. I actually never skipped it. It's calm and soothing to listen.
Pacing:
Nothing to complain about here either. It's well paced and they show a decent amount of content in every episode. Everything shown is easily understandable.
Overall,
It's a great anime. Following the theme of the series, it has a healing effect and calm atmosphere. I watched it every week while it was airing and it was a great experience. Definitely worth a try...

Season 3 started out really good. I know there are only 3 episodes so far but they were great. As a manga reader, I can tell that this season is going to live upto it's hype.
I like the character interactions, they are interesting and fun to watch. Also, there are plenty of references at times (for example the Discord and Apex legend reference in episode 1). Unlike most of the romcoms, Kaguya-Sama has some actual good storyline and proper progression to it.
Pacing of it is perfect, not too slow not too fast. I think it adapts around 3 chapters per episode which seems to be
...
perfect for a seasonal anime. They sometimes skip content from the manga but that's explainable because they have to make a well rounded season of 12 episodes.
The humour and jokes in it are enjoyable. They don't have any unecessarily cringe added to it. Sound/tracks are pretty good aswell. I don't see any problem with the animation either. It is proper and smooth.
When the first episode aired, this part became one of the top 5 highest rated animes in no time which is kinda insane. Tho it was taken down by downvote spammers cuz they were afraid of it overtaking their favourites lol (mostly Fmab and Aot fans). I have given it an 8 for now. I might change it at the end depending on the other episodes which are yet to air.
Overall, I'll say that Kaguya-Sama is a great romcom and you should give it a try if you haven't already. If you liked the previous 2 seasons, then you're going to love this one aswell (obviously).

They really tried to make this anime appear cute and wholesome. If you even have the slightest idea about how to rate or decide if any anime is good or not then you'll know that this show is below medicore.
The best way to describe it is "Cliche". Tho I'll admit that I haven't read it's manga so I don't exactly know what's coming ahead but I can say that it's simply going to be boring and generic the way it is right now.
The main character of this anime is a loli looking girl (Aharen) with blue hair. She can't speak too loudly and is pretty
...
much introverted. Then there's this another guy name Raido who's kind enough to accompany the loli. Also there's this another girl who is always stalking Aharen cuz she wants to spend time with her. All of them just seem to be plain asf.
About the storyline, I know I'm writing this review at the time when only 3 episodes of the anime have aired but so far it has been nothing but complete randomness. There's no real progression. The humour in it is just cringey like hiding someone's unzip pants and doing headbutts. The only decent thing about this anime is probably it's sound.
Ofcourse, some people might actually like it if they didn't watch anything similar before or they just want to watch something chill. I can't appreciate this anime when there are literally tonnes of other slice of lifes with same generic content. There's nothing remarkable about it.
That's pretty much it for my review. I might change my thoughts at the end of the season. Tho I don't really think that this anime is going to get any good ahead when it's other episodes air.

You are either going to love this Anime or else you just gonna feel like it's some kind of random crap. It totally depends upon the amount of time you've spend on understanding it. This isn't something one can simply judge with an usual mindset that only considers common aspects. That said, I've rewatched this show and talked with others people who have also seen it to get a better view over this anime.
Furi Kuri's protagonist, Naota is boy who frequently undergoes situations where he is supposed to make choices which would determine his maturity. This is like passing the adolesence and realizing what growing
...
up is like. To emphasis this concept even more, every adult in the show is made to appear immature. Just like that, each and every character has some kind of complexities which can be seen as the anime progresses. I personally found them to be really interesting because they don't seem to be same as any other ordinary ones.
The storyline seems to be filled with complete randomness, and at some point it is true. Tho the anime has several references about different kinds of things in it. One thing I will say is that the anime is super fast paced and gets confusing if you're watching it for the first time but overall, it provides a great experience.
I love the artstyle and theme of it. Also, the animation is really good considering the anime was released in year 2000. The soundtracks are great and fit the series perfectly. The staff definitely put some effort in making this anime.
In conclusion, I'll say that this anime was just way too ahead of it's time. Lots of stuff packed in a 6 episode OVA. An one of a kind show completely different from anything else.

Hotarubi no Mori e is a movie that I was excited to watch for but turned out to be a dissapointment. I simply don't understand why is this so highly rated on Mal.
It start out in a generic way just like any other movie does. A small girl who met a spirit which can't come in contact with any human or else it would die (you can already predict how the movie will end just by knowing this) She used to visit this spirit every summer.
The storyline is almost non-existent. Only progression in the movie was the aging of the little girl. All the character
...
were plain. I personally didn't find anyone to be likeable at all.
30 mins in, there was nothing appreciable about it. Also at that time, I realized that there were only 15 more minutes left before the movie would end and it was at no point to be concluded in a proper manner. Guess I was totally right about that...
The spirit dies the most predictable death as I mentioned earlier just because it was careless. An anime which seem to have been in midway through the storyline ended suddenly out of nowhere.
This could have been a much better movie if it had more depth to the story and a non-rushed ending.

Okay so Gachiakuta is a newly released weekly manga that I started reading from the release of the very first chapter. So far (7th march 2022) there are only 3 chapters of it total. Not much content has been released so I won't be able to review it in the best way but nevertheless, here it is:-
Gachiakuta is a shonen manga that really has a unique concept. It's literally about "Trash and Garbage". The protagonist's name is Rudo and he seem to be really poor and barely makes up with his daily needs to survive. Rudo is pretty much outcasted by most of people and
...
struggles to live in the society. He has an ideology that people easily throw things away and call it trash but it but infact they are pretty useful.
In the very first chapter, Rudo is accused of a murder and is sent to a place called "Abyss" which is like a place where all the criminals are send as well as the garbage is thrown. Abyss is like a whole new place (kinda like underworld). I think the story will focus upon the things Rudo faces and the experiences he will have in Abyss while trying to find a way to get back to the real world.
This Manga has some really good artwork and I believe it has the potential to become a great series in future. I'd definitely recommend to give it a try...
That was pretty much all that I had to say. It only has 3 chapters as for now so I can't really give any more details. Also, I'm not good with giving reviews but I tried my best. To be honest, I don't really think anyone's gonna read this weird review but in case you did, thanks a bunch...
