Until maybe a decade ago vampire stories were at their prime. I, as well, used to be a big fan of such stories. In my eyes, those tales were thrilling, grasping me the whole way through and leaving me mostly utterly terrified. After hundreds of movies, books and tv series based on the vampire myth, though, vampires started to lose their original shine. They were just so overused that one could easily stop caring anymore. If anyone of you came asking me what I believed a vampire was I’m not quite sure of what my answer would be. Can they die from sunlight or do they ...

Durarara!! (Anime) add
Durarara!! is one of those anime that can surprise the viewer in so many ways, both bad and good, but in the end this diversity is what enriches the spectacle. In these 24 episodes it managed to blend ostensibly different story themes, in a quite successful final result.
From gang fights to urban legends, friendships and rivalries, schemers and victims, its themes target all kinds of audiences, making it really easy for a larger group of people to enjoy it.

Story – 8 The story is set in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro enhanced with a more supernatural, mysterious feel to it and is a mixed bag of comedy, action, ...

Mixed Feelings
One thing is for sure... this was far better than the first season.
*this review is rewritten*

Story: 6
The story in the second season is far better than the first one and that's one thing that's sure. The concept is still the same, but here we finally get to the whole picture of what Gantz is all about. The "monsters" or whatever they are... are surely more interesting, though still as weird... and there is a really clever twist in the final episodes, which was what did this show justice for me. Much more action is present in this second stage which was absent from the first ...

Mixed Feelings
Until the end I couldn’t decide whether to like or hate this anime so that’s why I gave it the average score, 5.

Oh and by the way I'm only taking into concideration the first 11 episodes. Simply because the last one was a real big joke... unnecessary fanservice...

Story – 6
The story is what drew me in at first. It did have this air of mystery and some traditional elements in the feel of it, so it initially was very promising. But in a few episodes it became pretty weird and I was somewhat appalled by the evolution of it. Until the end it doesn’t manage ...

I’ll start off by saying that I believe this anime is concidered to be more than it is… that doesn’t make it bad, but it means that it certainly isn’t a masterpiece either. Despite that, I felt nice watching it without being too hyper about it though. I can think of some other anime that deserve to be as highly scored as this and they aren’t...

In any case let’s begin with the…

Story – 7
The story at first glance looks quite unique, with Sawako being treated as an outcast because of her scary demeanor. It starts out funny and interestingly. But after just a ...

Now I wasn't expecting that I would love this equally to the main show's episodes.
I watched it after I finished the whole anime and I recommend you to do the same. Watching it like this, it felt like a last "farewell" to all the characters in a very enjoyable kind of way!
The OVA had all those elements that the anime holds, even in just this one episode.
I found it both entertaining and emotional.
I gave a 10 to all aspects as it still has top notch quality in story, art, sound and character's design and interaction. The opening and ending theme are the same as in ...

Kuroshitsuji (Anime) add
O-M-G…. starting this I never ever expected that I was about to watch my most favorite anime of all times! Where to even begin reviewing this show? Prepare yourselves for a LONG review, it can’t be helped!

I don’t know what made me fall so utterly and madly in love with it. It might have been the Victorian-era London scenery, the gloomy, melancholic, weeping like atmosphere that prevailed. The eerie, mystifying, wicked characters, the extremely and utterly beautiful musical score, the exquisite art. What I know is that it was love at first sight.

Story: (10/10)
In a nutshell the story is about a young boy who suddenly ...

Hoshi no Koe (Anime) add
I just finished watching the anime and wanted so much to write a review right away, because I'm still overwhelmed after watching this.

(I won't include a summary of the story, since I assume everyone has read the official MAL one)

Story: 11
Yes.. 11! The story is quite simple to grasp. In a nutshell it shows two people, a young boy and a girl who are seperated by distance. Yup..that's the whole concept. But it's the ideas that enriched this concept and its execusion that made this anime a little gem. Because distance here has taken its most extreme form..that of some light years away. Mikako and ...
