Alright, I know this is a hentai manga and I don't typically review and/or read hentai manga, but this was an exception because Yuuki Homura is an exceptional story writer and artist, and I heard about this work, and decided to take the time to read it.
The Story~
Ok, the plot is rather straightforward and simple. Its easy to understand (as all hentai mangas should be) and although bizarre at times, the plot is written in a way that it is easy to understand and sympathize with the characters.
I did struggle as at some points, I felt that the story lacked some points of data (in
...
my head I think of a line graph that has been broken into two different lines)
But other than that, the story had direction (although the archetype seemed to come right out of Korean dramas).
The Art~
The art was good, Yuuki Homura always does a great job on the art.
The Characters~
Yui was really a well developed, true character. She sticks through and thin with the Prince, and even though the two go through plenty of trials throughout their relationship, she really sticks with him after discovering that the hardships had all been misunderstandings.
The Prince had better character development--he didn't change right off the bat, but grew to love Yui and began to understand her more and more. Eventually he does things for her sake, and for a reason.
The other characters, on the other hand, really weren't as memorable and one could easily forgot about them. But during the time I was reading this, I must say, I couldn't stop thinking about the romance between Yui and the Prince...
Overall, this is an excellent work by Yuuki Homura. Greatly recommend it.
5 stars for the well written, hentai manga, Pipiruma!

Reimei no Arcana is a one-of-a-kind manga. Instead of following the average, archetypal shoujo manga plot, the author has created an excellent work by effectively using plot-twists, great character development, and deep, underlying meaning/foreshadowing within most chapters.
The Plot ~
The plot is well written. I admit that at times in the manga, I felt that I could "see the ending!" only to find that a plot twist--or a major event that affects the entire manga--was put into play the very next chapter. The plot twists and transitions within the story were masterfully executed, and was neither too complex nor simple for the reader to
...
be frustrated and belittled likewise.
The Characters ~
I admit that the characters surprised me the most, probably even more so than the plot.
The prince Ceasar is a male tsundere who eventually does legitimately love his wife, Nakaba. I hated his first few chapters, but as the story progressed, I moved on to pitying him, then to liking him overall. His character changes alot more, and I feel that at times he finally grew a pair and manned up. (in my mind I was like "YES! AMEN BROTHER!")
Princess Nakaba was a character that I found to be likable from the get go. She has a headstrong personality and at times, acts coy, even kuudere-ish. At any rate, in the later chapters, her actions had me slamming my fist on the table going "MMMMM!! YES! Wonderful!" Her personality drives her to do whatever is possible to help the people that she loves and wishes to protect. She made me wonder who was really more of a man between the Ceaser-Nakaba couple.
The Art ~
On the whole, I am not a very big fan of shoujo art. However, this will be the exception--if shoujo art is more like this, than I will most likely read more shoujo manga.
The art is drawn masterfully and the characters do not appear too "pretty" and/or slanted as shoujo/shounen characters have appeared in the past. (Modern Shoujo art?) I felt that the art accurately represented the scenes and that the simple backgrounds gave off a degree of "softness" that hurt my eye less.
Overall ~
This is a great work. If Twisted Romance and Power struggles are for you, than this manga is excellent! Although even if you are not a fan of such, this is a read I advise regardless of your taste...
4.5 / 5 Stars for the ever entertaining, and currently ongoing Reimei no Arcana.

Sekirei: Pure Engagement--as the Second Season of Sekirei, this season seems to be the shift from just boobies to actual story line and theme.
Story - 9
The animators took the liberty to adjust some of the storyline to their own liking...fortunately and unfortunately, while it does not completely follow the manga's plot, I would say it actually brings out the theme of love and unity instead of just plain old boobies.
There are parts that even have you crying/tearing up/getting angry, as they also bring out the cruelties of life (not to a mature extreme) and lets just say, much sacrifice was made...(both on the part of
...
the manga, and of the sekirei).
Art - 8
The art actually improved from Season 1 and began to look more like the OG Author's actual drawings. Alot of the mistakes that were in Season one were Rectified. Good work! Still, obviously not the best, so only 8 points.
Sound - 7
The OP/ED themes are somewhat lacking, although cute.
If you're looking for an anime that will inspire you with breathtaking sound effects and soundtracks, this is not the anime for you. The soundtracks in Season 2 DO fit with the story and theme, but there could have been better choices in my opinion. (Although this could be me, as I am a musician who writes his own music...and plays 7 instruments...but back to the anime..)
Character - 9
Character development is EXCELLENT. By the end of this season, there is little chance for one not to have selected a favorite character...
I do dislike the fact that the animators seemed to favor Musubi (for example, in the main plot Tsukiumi had her own share of "kills," but in the second season Tsukiumi doesn't have kills, she gets "assists.") and thus it seems like Musubi and Minato become a "Predetermined" couple.
Which is annoying. I personally love Tsundere characters (my own view at any rate) and Tsukiumi was really well developed into that role.
At first sight, Kazehana appears as a typical drunk, but the animators did her a good turn by utilizing an episode entirely on her to better display the theme of love.
Pretty much all of Minato's Sekirei change by the end of the second season.
Maybe not Kusano and Matsu, but all of them tend to change and develop nicely.
Enjoyment - 9
Personally I enjoyed this season more than I enjoyed the first.
Again, personal preference so this should really not matter.I did like that this had a little less boobies and more story. (Although there was still plenty of boobies!)
Overall - 9
What can I say? The animators did the OG Author a good favor by doing it their own way.
If you are looking for some ecchi anime, and haven't watched the first season, watch the first season.
For those of you who prefer story, I would advise Shakugan no Shana instead, although this is not to bad overall.

Ah, Ecchi manga. Typically I stay away from these, but I wandered upon this one
and just decided to read it.
Story - 8
The story isn't that bad. Not much plot though, too much boobies. Stick to the main plot more and this would've gotten a higher score.
Gags (old man gags at that) were pretty funny though, I would be laughing all the time. Sometimes I laughed that my parents would come in--exactly when I press Alt + Tab.
Art - 7
Again, too much boobies. Aside from that I like the Author's style of art.
Also, I think I could handle one, two,
...
three, or even four chicks (up to Tsukiumi) but beyond Tsukiumi...no...just TOO much for me to handle.
(And how do you draw that many boobies? It gives you an eyesore!)
Character - 9
Surprisingly I love the characters...
Particularly Tsukiumi. The Author really made this Tsundere-type character good heh heh and I love Tsundere...
The other characters were not so bad.
Musubi was all 'bout boobies
Kusano was funny for the most part.
And beyond that...I think...I had enough.
Enjoyment, not bad. I think I MIGHT read it again.
Overall 8. Deserves it score, if you like Harem/Ecchi style, this is perfect.
Not for the weak of heart who cannot stand polygamy.
