I get exactly what you mean by collecting that way. It makes the most sense so you don't waste your money. I should have started out like that but, I didn't really want to start reading manga digitally. So i've just always brought the first volumes physically and not buy anymore of the series if i didn't like it. So far that only happened once with That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which started out really good i think i just have to reread it.
I have the first 3-1 edition of Fullmetal Alchemist (so volumes 1,2,&3), but i just CAN'T get myself to read it. Do you think I should read it?

Ive never played the Danganronpa games, and I tried watching lets plays so i could get some background info. I tried to watch one of my favorite Youtubers, Kubz Scouts, but its a really long game and it was boring for me to try to watch it sense Ive already watched most of the anime at that point. But I just finished it today, and I really really like it. I 100% recommend, its not perfect (giving my 8/10 rating) but it is worth the watch im my opinion. I would say to watch the anime first, then play the game. Maybe? Bc the anime is fast compared the the 20 hour game. And the game will give you a lot more information about the characters, from what I've seen so far. But you do you, whatever order you want. But I definitely would recommend to get into it. :)

I TPN was my second one too, either that or MHA since I got the first volumes at the same time. Im only up to volume 7 (collected not read yet), but I plan on buying the whole series, It will probably be the first completed series that I'll finish.
I've heard of monster before Ill have to look into it. Parasyte is so so good, and this is coming from a non reader. But I get you 100%, my list is incredibly long for someone who started anime and manga not that long ago. Im trying to rush through a few series just to get them out the way. Like Danganronpa, ima finish it this week, then probably TPN (the anime season 1) just to get it done since I already read that part in the manga.

Heyyyyy! Iver never heard of 20th Century boys before, I might need to look that up. I haven't collected many series yet only 6 so far and all of them i have less than 10 volumes each series. Rn I would say #1 spy x family, its the one i'm most caught up with. #2 the promised neverlands, it was one of my first manga series. And #3 Parasyte, I just started it and I am in LOVE with it! I'm defiantly going to finish it. They're pretty big names too but i like them all so so so much! Maybr you could like Parasyte, maybe look into it :)
