I'm late when it comes to the hype of this series. I saw a screenshot of one of the scenes on Instagram and thought it was a regular comedy / slice of life anime. I don't usually read reviews before watching shows because I don't want to influenced on how I perceive or critique the show so after finishing it I can honestly say that I love it a lot.

Story: 7
The story is pretty straightforward in that we have a young boy who encounters different girls that have weird phenomena happen to them that they can't explain. Every review that I've seen that ... has given this show a low rating has compared it to the Monogatari series and say that this show is a rip off. I personally haven't finished the Monogatari series but I will say that they are both very similar. The one thing that makes them different is the fact that this show is more straightforward in my opinion.
I personally believe the story was good. Each character story was told well and I felt like I came to really understand each girl more.

Moving on to characters: 8
I loved the characters I won't lie. Especially Kaede, she's cute. Sakuta was a good main character and funnily enough I found him to be pretty relatable. He's comfortable in who he is and doesn't seem to care about what others think about him or how many people like him as long as he has his friends he trusts. I thought he was almost complacent but he grows to be more than that I think he great. He really goes through the most in the show. He's also funny and just such a teenage boy which adds to the humor.
All the character arc was intriguing since their problems all stemmed from the phenomenon called "Puberty Syndrome". They all had some inner turmoil that they weren't facing and refused to accept it head on. I think everyone can relate to their issues because there all very normal human emotions and I think it's cute how they improve from their trials. I just loved it.

I love the music in this anime. The opening song is by 'the peggies' and I think they are amazing and I love their music. The ending song is sung by the voice actors of each of the female characters that the episodes are dedicated to which I was thought was pretty cool and the art for it all was really good.

Overall I really enjoyed this anime and I have nothing bad to say about it. The themes in this show aren't original or extraordinary but they are real and I think that's made me enjoy it all so much and because I truly felt for the characters. I think everyone should give it a try.

Okay so before you ask, yes I did rate the show a 7 but here I'm giving it an 8 because I genuinely did enjoy Nanbaka that much. I instantly loved the characters from the first episode and I love them even more now. The only downfall for this season is the storyline which is sad but it wasn't to bad

The story idea was promising. It gave an insight to Samon's past and his relationship with the other characters. I thought it was great but I won't lie, I was kind of disappointed. The end of the season was a major cliffhanger and the last ... episode felt rushed. There were so many great, intensive fights that lasted more than a single episode but then the ending was rushed and not even in a way to give a resolution. It felt like reading a story on Wattpad only to realise that the author hasn't finished the book and it's been 3 years since it was last updated. I was left feeling half empty and wondering what I should do next. I am reading the manga now but it isn't the same as watching it all move.

The art was awesome. I loved the colours and the character designs always had me excited. The fight scenes were great too so I had no problems there.

The characters were so lovable. They were funny in their own way and I loved all their little quirks. I do wish there was some more insight into some of them but I was satisfied with what I got for an anime adaption with 12 episodes.

The music was epic and catchy. I'm so happy they kept the same opening and ending from the first season. I never skipped the opening and ending songs because I thought they were that great and I'm still looking for the whole soundtrack just to bop to in my own time.

Overall I think Nanbaka 2 was pretty enjoyable and I would recommend it but I will say don't go in expecting a resolution to the whole plot.

So I have recently returned from my anime hiatus and I've been catching up with all the stuff I've missed in the last 2 years. Demon Slayer is sooooooooo good, no-one can tell me otherwise and if you gave this series less than a 6 rating then I don't think we watched the same show. I don't make the rules.

I'm going to start with the music which is probably one of my favourite parts of the show. The opening is by LiSA. Do I really need to say anymore? Every opening she has ever done has me so hyped and Gurenge is no exception. ... The punk rock, borderline metal vibe of the opening really sets up the atmosphere for the show perfectly and the visuals were beautiful too.

Which brings me onto art! Now I really enjoy the character designs. You can figure out most characters' attributes pretty easily and the designs were fun to look at (I don't know if that makes sense). The animation is good too. I will be honest I don't usually vibe with CGI in anime BUT it worked well in Demon Slayer so it'll be an exception. The colours were vibrant too!

The story was absolutely brilliant (again I don't make the rules). I was captivated right off the bat from episode one and there was never a dull moment. The balance between the storyline and the fight scenes was great in my opinion. I grew attached to characters so quickly because they were so human, even the demons. The humorous moments were lovely too and I laughed each time.

Overall I recommend giving Kimetsu no Yaiba a shot. Of course because I enjoyed so much I'll preach about how amazing it was for me but I genuinely believe that whether you're interested in action or an adventurous plot, you'll get it here!

I feel like I'm being very generous with the rating I gave One Punch Man Season 2 because I was blown away by the first season and really wanted this one to do well. I initially procrastinated in watching this season altogether because of the fact that Madhouse gave the show to J.C Staff.

The 4 aspects of the show that made me fall in love with it initially during the first season were the characters, the humor, the animation and the fight scenes (the animation and fight scenes could be put together to be honest).

I was quite upset with the obvious change in ... animation. It no longer looked as clean or as smooth as it initially did in Season 1, but instead looked sharper and it wasn't as appealing. I eventually got over this because the story and the character were really interesting. Garo is such a mesmerising character to the point where I wanted to get inside his head and figure him out. He was so promising and I feel like I could have learned more about him but I don't think it was executed right.

The season is only 12 episodes and some how the it felt like it was too short and too long at the same time. Since Saitama wasn't the only main focus, the story become bigger in a way but then I felt like there was so much happening at one time. To the point where 12 episodes don't seem enough.

One thing that was missing in this season was the humor and this upsets me. I could watch season 1 of One Punch Man over and over and continue to laugh each time because the comedy is golden but this season didn't make me laugh once. Fair enough Saitama as a character has never failed to make me smile but the comedic juice was missing in this season and it hurts my soul.

I can't pretend like I didn't enjoy the show at all though because I did enjoy the fight scenes. The one critique I will give is that they didn't give the same effect as the last season. Also they felt so much slower than before so that's another thing.

I feel like I shouldn't be complaining as much as I am with how high I rated it. In fact don't look at the numbers, they don't really match up with what I'm saying.
