I find terrible anime highly amusing. They also make fun reviews.

My mean score is somewhat misleading. If you compare anime shared in common between my scores and the scores of most other MAL critics, you'll find my mean score isn't usually much lower. I have the exact same mean score as Rebel Panda for example in terms of the shows we've both seen. My total mean score is lower than average because I purposely seek out horrible anime. Most people watch stuff like JoJo or My Hero Academia, which at the very worst are 5-6 out of 10 shows. Scoring them lower than that I feel would be dishonest. There's nothing wrong in being objective. A good rating is a mixture of objectivity and subjectivity, you can't be 100% objective in rating a piece of art, I acknowledge that much. The problem is that you ditch any semblance of an objective argument and went on to write a review that is just full of your subjective opinion without explaining anything which defeats the point of a review which is to explain. MAL is full of reviews like yours which ultimately discredits the entire review system even when there are legitimately good and well written review out there. Anyone who is in the anime community for at least 6 months knows that mal reviews are full of trash takes and reviews like yours

yeah, the guy who can only spout subjective remarks about a show is now asking for a discussion. It will always be a fact that those shows that you considered as trash are superior in every way to garbage shows that you rated highly, period.

So to summarize your comment, you're just butt hurt because you can't explain why terrible shows have higher ratings than shows that are actually good. Understandable, have a nice day

Don't write a review if you don't want to see any arguments. It's a very dumb thing to write some half-assed reviews and not expecting some sort of criticism or argument

yeah, of course character that has depth and feels real like shinji is a bad character when you like the mc from classroom of the elite which is as one dimensional of a character as you can get

you still haven't explained how all those trash shows have higher ratings than shows that are actually good and well written
