Bartenders calming atmosphere compared with Biyori’s pitch perfect cooking makes for a beautiful back to back watch. Biyori's story telling is linear, while Bartender's stories are told about a different character each episode spilling life lessons like paint on a canvas combined with wonderfully put together drinks. Biyori's characters with their depth and stories in contrast to Bartenders infamous small bar with his drinks from God are polar opposites that attract like magnets. Overall the stories perfect opposites but calming episodes and atmospheres make for a near perfect back to back watch. It is as if you are cleansing your soul of all negative things except hunger. Always have a snack or drink nearby, you will get hungry or be jealous of the meals or drinks.

Both of these anime’s feature heavy geopolitical issues brought into the show, while also maintaining a fairly simplistic viewpoint of them so watchers still can enjoy the show between the occasional harem-like scenes in Gate and occasional dates in realist hero. Both shows focus on an MC going to another world, while Gate has an otaku enjoying mc and Realist Hero is an isekai with an mc who focused on politics. Both shows feature the occasional fightscene for shounen fans who may want a calming sunday. Overall both shows are a great way to see modern creations in a new light. Gate is great if you have always wanted to see the medieval ages fight modern age technology

Devilman: Crybaby

Both mc's appear to have an identity crisis after a massive change to their body and capabilities, while eventually fighting for their very lives due to this change. While Iron fortress has a much more kill them all mentality for the mc, devilman's mc is a kinder soul, but receives massive backlash from the population of devilman appearing as a mob mentality similar to the protests in Portland. Devilman amazingly showcases the goodness some people can harbor despite constant rebuttals, while kabaneri shows peoples unwavering will to survive so well it astounds my expectations.

Multiple character’s have questionable cynical evaluations of people in 7 seeds much like million lives mc’s extreme pessimism and almost stoic evaluations of what a human life is worth. Both feature a world ending plot point as seen within the first 2 episodes of both series and unsurprisingly shows a semi realistic representation of human nature with the occasional betrayals, murders and devious tricks
