ABOUT MY RATING SYSTEM:
MAL has a rating system, yeah. Doesn't mean I go by it, though.
Here's what you should know before snooping on my anime list :3
Score: 1 (Utter shit.) It' doesn't even matter how subjective it sounds. no one should make their eyes bleed with this crap, Trust me.
Most commonly found under: Dropped
Score: 2 (Confident turd.) Score reserved for pitiful POC's that will/may be appreciated/enjoyed by ABSOLUTE FANS of its source material.
Most commonly found under: Dropped
Score: 3 (Golden turd.) Watchable but that's it. Score reserved for stuff way too boring/uneventful for it's own good.
Most commonly found under: Dropped
Score: 4 (Wasted potential.) Starts pretty good, sometimes with a bang. It builds up the watcher's expectations only to start going downhill few or several episodes later. Common offences are: severe pacing issues, illogical plot twists, lack of character development, disregard of source material, etc.
Most commonly found under: Dropped, Completed
Score: 5 (Suicidal bomber.) Shows that self destruct. These begin very good and keep up the momentum for a while. Things start to look great and then, BAM. Writers go on crack or mushrooms and kill the plot with a brilliantly stupid idea, usually a massive plot twist that changes completely the show's initial premise.
Most commonly found under: Dropped, Completed
Score: 6 (Plain.) Watchable and enjoyable to a point. Not particularly bad but nothing to write home about, usually their structure is perfect and if based upon source material, punctual. Problem is there's nothing else to go by and lacks the spark to pull watchers in.
Most commonly found under: Completed
Score: 7 (Decent.) Shows that are worth your time. They may have some issues but those can be overlooked without much fuss. Series with this rating might start off slowly but they usually get better.
Only found under: Completed.
Score: 8 (Brilliant.) Well written, well devised shows. These put careful attention to details and have smooth pacing with a great deal of character development. The cast is mostly likeable and the story interesting enough to pull most watchers in.
Only found under: Completed.
Score: 9 (Awesome.) Fairly enjoyable shows. These have a spark of freshness that hooks you in no matter what. Series with this rating aren't usually original or anime-saving stuff but they do their job and they do it right. You should check them out since they set up an example for their genre.
Only found under: Completed.
Score: 10 (Recommended.) Everyone is entitled to their opinion and of course I am no exception, but I'm confident shows with this rating can be watched by almost anyone and enjoyed from beginning to end. They are great staples of their genre and are most successful in satisfying their target audience, also you'll surely have a blast with them.
Series like these are the most fun and why watch anime if not to have a great time? These are my personal choices and certainly, a must watch.
Only found under: Favourites, Completed.
