More wish fulfillment from Japan.
Beautiful goddess needs to summon a hero, and of course she conveniently picks a place as irrelevant as Japan out of all the countries in the world. And then she's attracted to the Japanese guy she summons, when in reality most Japanese guys are butt ugly.
And the humor is the "self-aware" type of humor where they basically do corny things on purpose, because the authors aren't talented/funny enough to write genuine humor. Of course the protagonist has little personality (besides being cautious), because they almost never do in these.
It's basically low effort pandering designed to cash in on the "isekai" trend.

This might be one of the worst animes ever created. The first episode sets some expectations that ultimately end up betrayed. The first half of the show in general is alright, but it goes downhill from there into one of the most disappointing and nonsensical and anti-climatic last episodes I've ever seen.
There is absolutely NO story and the entire thing is full of last minute asspulls, contradictions, and predictable conveniences. The only reason it gets good reviews at all are from kids who like edginess, but it even fails THERE as well (pretty much only the first episode is edgy) ultimately leaving something that ends ... |
