🍓 Hello! My name is Gumi and I love manga and nendoroids. I'm active on Discord and I love to accept friend requests!
🍓 I'm super lenient with my scores on this site-- each is a mix of my own personal enjoyment and bias, along with a bit of a critical perspective (occasionally!). As I said, though, manga is more of my thing, but I'm always open to recommendations for manga or anime. This goes for music, too. I'm interested in what people read/watch/listen to, so please share your interests with me!

🍓 My favorite genres of manga are romance, psychological, comedy, and gl. I'm most picky about comedy, and one of the only series to really make me laugh out loud is Nichijou! I love its absurdity and art. A lot of other comedy series fall flat as they have a lot of tired troupes, so if you have any good titles to share, I'd love to hear them!
🍓 I love games like Project Sekai (Colorful Stage), Ensemble Stars Music, Genshin Impact, SCP: Containment Breach, and YuGiOh: Master Duel.

🍓 This is a tribute corner to some of my favorite songs, ever. These descriptions go in order from left to right!
🍓 Melty Land Nightmare is a fantastic song that demonstrates many things I enjoy about music-- there's interesting vocals (Miku is tuned expertly in this one), good instrumentals, and a fantastic story that can be interpreted in many different ways.
🍓(This is an English cover, not the original!) My R is a sad song, but is one that is by an artist I really like. I adore the story in this one and the internal dialogue as a girl struggles to confront her feelings. I tear up whenever I listen to it but love it nonetheless.
🍓Orthodoxia is definitely a song not as many people would be fond of. However, I find the mixed voices of multiple vocaloids to be refreshing and interesting, with a beautiful mv and art. The song is fast paced and striking, which is why i adore it!

I wouldn't say its wrong to have a certain taste or not. Many people are in over their head with pretentious anime or the flavor of the month anime. I would label the current 'taste' (popular) anime as bad, since i want the industry to make other types of anime. But that is just my two cents.
Well, if it checks all the requirements of the definition of anime that MAL uses, MAL doesn't care that it's a music video, it is still a piece of animation.
