I don't think I've ever laughed at an anime more than i have for Konosuba. Not even the Ghost stories dub made me laugh this much.
While there isn't much of a story to Konosuba, it doesn't stop the characters from developing with each. which has resulted in the best character interactions i have ever seen. the characters along with their voice actors are what make this so fun to watch. Unfortunately the personalities that the VA's built didn't carry over to the dub so well or at all, due to the pretty generic sounding voices, but that doesn't take away from enjoyment of the sub.

Fairy Tail is without a doubt my favourite anime.
I fell in love with this anime by episode 2 and i have yet to be disappointed by an episode. People like to badmouth Fairy Tail and say its stupid because the characters get powered up from their friends getting hurt, but honestly what shonen doesn't have this at some point or another. While i admit the friendship speeches can be a little cheesy at times, at least they are consistent and make a lot more sense to be in this where all the characters had terrible childhoods and only found acceptance with each other. I have to say i'm really enjoying this so far.
It captures my favourite tropes from other isekais, resulting in an almost perfect show. While the show does have the classic OP protagonist, much like Overlord, most of the supporting cast are also OP in comparison with most of the inhabitants of the new world. Which in my opinion makes for a much more enjoyable show, as the MC isn't beating everyone alone. This anime is great to look at, and the music and sound effects accompany the a battle scenes flawlessly. I can't wait for the rest of the episodes to come out. |
