There is a main trio of characters of two guys and one girl, but the second guy maintains a completely platonic relationship with the two other characters and it's never a love triangle. The most similar aspect is the in-universe shoujo mangaka who bases their main heroine on their friend as well as hiding their second identity from everyone else in the school. Although Otomen has a little bit more romance than gekkan, both are funny, adorable and light-hearted and a great read. A lot of similar vibes.

Both are shounen adventures where the main characters gather more companion as the story progresses. as well as improving powers and having quite a few interesting fights. Both has plots that are more than just plotless fighting. And both has a very rich cast of popular voice actors.

Comedy shows with similar humour, with the strengths of the show being its diverse, hilarious and idiotic cast. While the plot have their differences, where one is set in an office work place, while another is of high schoolers who work on a manga together, they are both motivated by mild hints of romance (that focuses more on humour than drama). Both are adapted from 4-koma comedy manga, and focuses on the daily lives of the characters as they encounter hilarious day-to-day problems. If you love the humour of one show, then you will definitely love the other and both will leave you laughing non-stop!

...then you might like Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi add

Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi is no where as famous as Ouran, but the similarities are there. The genres of the two shows are Comedy/Romance, with a touch of action near the final episodes. Both the series follows a high school girl, in a club, where her closest friends are all in that club. Both main male character seems useless and screwed up at the start, but later on, as the series progresses, we find out there's more to him than meets the eye. In both series, one of the main character's friend include is a lolita type of character, looking cuter and younger than they actually are.
