Oh where to start with Beserk, as they say "There is a life before reading Beserk and a life after reading...Beserk... ". Kentaro Miura is one of the bests for a reason, story telling, art work, and one of the OGs as far as one of the ones who started it all. The journey itself is is a roller coaster of a ride. As a reader of the claymore manga I absolutely love the series. The only reason i rated the anime a 7 was due to the fact of the last 3 episodes didnt finish the series and they changed a few things. Now the music, animation, voice acting, and tone of the anime was great. If they added amother season or two and didnt have the last 3 es the way they did I think it would be a 9 or 10 due to the integrity of the manga lore.

Top tier manga for a reason, cat and mouse , good and evil, morality , with a little dark twist.
I read this early on, id say my 4th or 5th manga, was a big thinker as far as the story goes. Though I enjoyed it due to its different pacing and plot. The art style as well is very solid with fine detail and shading. Cover art is top tier as well. Unlike the anime, the story as a whole was awesome and had me talking with friends as soon as I finished it. The anime isnt bad by any means but they changed ...

As I may be baised due to my love for manga, Claymore is one I hold in my top 5 of all time. Due to its great story telling, art style and depth of female lead characters.
I really enjoyed how Yagi told the story in parts instead of short chapters. The story at times can be complex but once you tie it together it has twists and turns that make the world come alive and draw you in! Ths symbolism , lore and lessons are those of any top tier shonen. I reccomend it to one of my good friends and loved it, hes ... |
