what picture is that in your profile? So mysterious. But I am pretty sure its a skin of something.

I will certainly watch "Joker Game", I think. It's one of the very few promising animes of 2016. You know, the industry is so nosediving the fans are even ready to hail a slightly above average anime as a "masterpiece". I mistrust hype and use my critical thinking to define what's artful and what's not.
Don't be passive while watching a show, Freia. Images also translate into words. Ask yourself questions, make your mind works and be critical. Critical but fair. That's how I am, even with titles I deeply enjoy.

Great Ishkur. I detest anything made by A-1 pictures. This studio embodies what's wrong with nowadays animation: to pander to the lowest common denominator with gore, furry or self insert characters like Kirito. Erased is a piece of shit for these simple points:

- It handles mystery very poorly: the anticlimatic discovery of the antagonist. He was the one suspect since the very start. Good foreshadowing is for spectators with taste.
- It handles poorly time travel: In the case of this anime, time resets are complete ass pulls happening without coherent reason other than for plot armoring the main character. Time Travel is a device only to be used by masterful writers and A-1 has none.
- Characterization sucks (one dimensional characters)
- It's yet another "2 3dgy" anime like "Elfen Lied" shoving R content into your face but handling it in an immature way.
- It panders to pedophiles.

Haihai Luna ^^
Just passing by to say I did great at my first end of terms exam! I got a very nice mean grade.
Unfortunately, the most demanding teachers are known to be sadists giving a load of work, I currently have one due for literature class, another in french and a 4 pages report to make in English! I don't spend a lot of time in here. I lurk in Youtube or laze around in Kik chat groups. It's too bad we can't chatter more there.

It's not on my list, but I currently watch Yoroiden Samurai Troopers. It's a nice shounen but a bit lacking. Yet, I remembered it to be epic but oh well, you know the topo. Child memories are distorted...

What about you, tell me?

It's alright sweetie ^^
I take time to reply, as well. And yeah, I have been pretty busy these days. This morning, we practiced for end of terms exam in immersive conditions.
I was sorely annoyed by the jackasses who don't play the game seriously. They chatter, make noise, don't put away their phones... Which part of TRUE EXAM CONDITION words don't they understand? Piss off. We are in a college, not a Tea House! They disrespect the hardworking students by distracting them with impromptu antics... It's to wonder if they're adults who received some modicum of education. Fortunately, I am done now. We currently are on our Christmas Break, which is a welcome pause...

I don't think I'd be able to tag along with sis to be frank. Our first real end-of-terms exam begins the 19th January. It more or less coincides with the moment she plans to come...
:/

Well, as I told sis, I live near Paris. 18 kilometers at the west, to be exact ^-^
Pchuuu preferred to spend time in Paris during January because as you know, the attacks which took place in november worried her. I consider it as a natural disaster: as there's nothing we can do about an earthquake, there's nothing we can do about the short sighted view of the Quai d'Orsay. French politicians are either dorks, traitors or both of it doubled with characterized greed. Their inconsiderate actions have dramatical consequences. What can we do about it? All political parties are vassals to zionist lobbies regarding foreign politics on the Middle East. Their sensibility is intertwined with Israel's. I am disgusted as they do what they please regardless of our opinion.

It's a pleasure to post something more consistent. I love discussions like these!
For now, gotta go dinner, see you around

Well, despite having a certain potential, most of my teachers thought of me as lost for education. Truth be told, I wanted instruction, not education, during my junior and senior high years. Gotta say I was dealing with a lot of issues during my youth, as my personality wasn't as balanced...
I am not exactly a College student, currently: I am a student in training attempting to integrate it. This year's degree is my free pass. My schedule is flexible, as I got 8 hours per week for 4 key subjects (French, Litterature, History and English). It's not too difficult, but quite different to what I experienced formerly. Go see that college website sometime. It's called "Université Paris Ouest" in Nanterre. Well, it doesn't make one dreams like he's in Cambridge or Oxford, but the teachers are top notch. It's a feat to hold such a level of excellence, whereas fees raise only up to 450 euro. For a renowned American college, you gotta add 2 zero to this sum in dollars, FOR ONLY ONE CYCLE!! Imagine paying 3 times to complete your curicullum in Harvard or Yale!

Teehee, I thought you had, while that jerk of Hell was around. I am much of an old timer, so you will see me rant at times about the tragedy it was to ditch celluloids in profit of these computers. I think a lot of animation soul was lost in the process. Besides, History is intertwined with the evolution of mean of communication. It's right for everywhere, not only Japan... Mind it, Lupin III was created under the Cold war between America/Japan/Europe & Soviet Union!
There was an unrivalled artistic turbulence at this time setting. Now, it's all about milking the cow... No more about counter culture and ideological fight.
Animation just stagnated. It's in sleep...

This consideration apart, Lupin III isn't for everyone. Back then, Japanese art style was heavily influenced by western cartoons. Hannah Barbera, Tex Avery, the Looney Tunes, The Disney cartoons: it was the golden age of American animation after all. You definitely can't compare "Astro the Robot" with a more modern title as "Mahoromatic". The touch more came with plotlines, Japan had a more mature approach by treating realistic thematics more in-depth, by philosophical and sociological standpoints. What I love about retro animation, it is to stumble upon a hidden gem, a lost time capsule.
You see me so violent against overhyped and overrated titles, it's because of the noise they generate over their, piece of sequential arts which are sorely forgotten. You know, the industry works like a computer: if deleted memory slot is occupied by something else, former data is lost forever. I don't care much about the Terrabytes of new styled animes: they palate the same. Artistically, they bore me for most part: quickly watched, quickly forgotten.

Ah, I didn't expect your message, so late reply =)
I have got scarce time to dedicate anime, alas. As I come back from college, I don't even turn on my personal computer: I feel so lazy I use mobile to surf, when I don't bill and coo with my darling ^-^
Although I am a solid student, I still gotta review and complete dutifully homeworks aside from my recreative digressions.

I hop around Kik, a Dragon Ball Z doujin website, streaming sites, Youtube and Animesub or Skype eventually Animesub if I can!... I try to be active on the Myanimelist clubs I am part of, as well.

BTW, what do you have against Lupin the III, you meanie? =p
